This was the perfect home base to start and end our days filled with exploring Olympic National Park! It was within 5-10 minutes of great restaurants, shops and gas stations. It was cozy and the perfect space for my fiancé and I. We love to come back to Olympic National Park and would definitely stay at the cottage again!

The cottage was exactly as described. Perfect place to stay over during our two day trip into Olympia NP. The only minor issue was the keuric coffee maker, found out I had to set at 10 oz to get coffee otherwise other settings would just give you clear water. The host was made aware of it. Still gave a 5 star rating

This cottage is exactly as described and pictured. It was so comfortable and clean! Check-in was easy. The location near Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent worked great for our adventures. This cottage is located in a more residential area and is not walkable to eating establishments but a short drive away. I would recommend staying here!

Our church has a yearly camp outing on this weekend each year. The outing is held at salt creek campground. We are not campers but wanted to participate so we chose a Verbo in Port Angeles. We’re glad we did so we could participate with our church and had only had about an 11 mile drive each way.

Very nice and cute little vacation rental in Port Angeles. Perfect to stay at before an early morning drive to Hurricane Hill, had all necessary amenities for a night's stay and for even longer, and located very close to downtown and the harbor. Highly recommended!

All the essentials are provided. When we needed extra towels, the property manager promptly delivered them.

We loved our stay in the Captain's Cottage! So spacious and charming - you could spend hours looking at the details and decorations. The beds are comfy - we didn't want to get up! The owners have thought of every amenity, including a beverage table that was so appreciated! Thank you so much for your kindness! We spent two days on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula and were so happy to have found this delightful rental. Within minutes of restaurants, the Wharf, grocery store, etc. Would definitely recommend and we'd love to come back again!

This isn’t a fancy cottage, but very clean and has the basics. My sole complaint is the owners’ noisy dogs. They have 2 dogs that bark incessantly if they are outside. One sat outside the bedroom window and barked for a really long time while we were trying to sleep. My only two suggestions that would have made our stay better (other than the dogs being quiet): 1. Check in instructions/directions to unit are confusing. Would have been much easier to just have the address to use navigation. 2. There were only 3 small wine glasses to use. No regular drinking glasses. If you want a tall glass of water, you are out of luck. And if there are more than 3 people, you have to take turns and wash dishes between people using a drinking glass. Same with silverware—only 4 each spoons, forks, etc. I have never stayed in a rental that was so short on glasses & silverware. Usually those items are abundant.

Outstanding! After checking out other PA choices, this seemed best! Great decision! Wish we could have stayed longer. It is just as pictured and will not disappoint. Did not communicate with hosts as there was no need. Thank you to them for sharing this lovely property. K.t. Venice FL

This was such a cute place that fit my family of 4 perfectly. We stayed the night before and the night after backpacking in Olympic. Super clean and really nice owners that you can tell put a lot of thought in putting this place together. Would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this place while exploring Olympic Peninsula.

The Hosts were great and very friendly. The cabin was very clean. This cabin is next to their house. There is no AC, but the 75 degree temps we experienced were not a problem. They do have two fans to help move the air. They have several dogs that like to bark, but they were inside most of the time we were there. If you want to watch Fox, I added it to the Roku stream since it is not on their main cable lineup.

Perfect for our overnight stay in Port Angeles. Clean, nicely decorated, nice amenities.

The house was cute and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. We visited the peninsula from Seattle for only one night and had lots of activities planned, so didn't spend much time in the house but check-in and out was very convenient and we found everything we needed for our night there. A cot in the living room was set up already for the 3rd person which was nice as I was expecting to have to set up the sofa bed on arrival. No issues and the neighborhood was very cute for a morning walk.

Good place to stay to explore Olympic National Park on day trips.

4 of us fit comfortably and we had everything we needed at the Captain’s Cottage. Would highly recommend for a short stay in Port Angeles.

We stayed here for three nights to hike in ONP. The location worked well for that (though there’s not much else in the surrounding area). The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with tea, coffee, and even some biscotti for our arrival. Check in and check out were easy. Everything was clean and as-described in the listing. We had a great time and would definitely stay again on another ONP trip.

Property is clean and super quiet, the owners were responsive. The area was fine.

The whole experience was pretty awesome. Kids loved the various game options. We all loved putting needle on the world map for her city, it was a cool idea and amazed to know people from all over the world has stayed at the property. The pike place coffee and the various spices in the kitchen helped in cooking food to satisfy our appetite. It was also very close to Crescent East Beach and Hurricane Ridge. Jake was a great host and was always available for any questions. Overall it is a 5 star experience.

My daughter called the place a 'barbie house' because she loved it so much!

Needed a place to stay for 1 night- perfect!

This little cottage was everything we could ask for. It was very clean, well stocked with coffee and tea, and very convenient for a base for exploring Olympic. My husband loved the cute nautical decorations. I loved having a full kitchen. I'd 100% stay there again.

We enjoyed the time to relax at the cabin and walk the area. Most of all the we enjoyed our walks at Lincoln park.

This was just a quick overnight stay for us but it was absolutely perfect. It had all the little things we needed, very clean and was conveniently located close to downtown restaurants and outdoor activities. Fun, nautical themed decor!

We loved the maritime theme of the cottage. We had a very comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Clean, great location

A perfect base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. Great road access to highways leading to Neah Bay, the Hoh, and Lake Crescent. Easy access to downtown. Comfortable and quiet.

So cozy and clean!!! The coffee bar was spectacular and the beds were so comfortable! Everything we needed was there! One of my favorites for sure!!
