Le calme

La literie déplorable et c’est avant tout ce que l’on recherche dans un hébergement. Très très mou pour le lit, très dure pour la banquette! Deux mécanismes de rideaux cassés. Porte de douche déboîtée…personnel absent. Pas d’accueil, en trois jours nous n’avons vu personne.Boîte à clef au modèle connu comme impossible à ouvrir. Décoration « IKEA » et même les fleurs étaient en plastique. Pas content le client d’avoir payé 300€ la nuit dans ces conditions. On ne demande pas le luxe mais un minimum à ce prix là. Nous réclamerons en temps et en heure une indemnisation. A fuir, mon dos s’en souvient encore !

We loved it from the moment we saw it. The owner came to greet us in person, which was nice and as for the cabin it was simply awesome. It seemed small from the outside, but it was pretty spacious inside. And very cosy! The kitchen was fully equipped, there were bathroom accessories and the beds were really comfortable. The girl who was looking after the cabins was very kind, and she gave us some interesting tips about where to go for a trip or a walk. I also need to mention the location, which was perfect for our daily trips. The accommodation is located right next to the Road 1 and it took us just about 30 mins to get to the Skaftafell National Park.

Lovely modern studio accomodation in a rural setting. All you need to cook a meal. Warm and cosy. You need to bring groceries with you.

I hadn’t realized it was a co-joined unit with others and you could hear some noise through the walls. I would still recommend it

Such a magical cottage. A very peaceful location, quiet, all together 3 or 4 cottages around, other quests quiet too. Cottage has a nice terrace, interior was warm, tidy, lots of wood, so welcoming. Kitchen, all was perfect. The best accomodation among 10 different that we had during our 14 days trip around Iceland. Thank you Heiða and Bjössi!

Everything was perfect

We had a very good stay! The cottage, although quite small for 4 people (but for a couple surely perfect!), was cozy and comfortable. The possibility of a flexible self-check in and check out was also very convenient. We didn't get to meet the hosts personally, but they were always super friendly and responsive via messages. All in all, a very nice experience that we can definitely recommend!

The wifi, although in general very good, did not work during the night (from around midnight until past 7:00 am).
