The property was beautiful-lemon and orange trees to pick our own fruit, lovely pool (tho too cool at this time for swimming, we put our feet in!); great views (balcony!) and just enough outside of town to be quiet. The gardens were nicely kept, and we had a lot of fun cooking, both in and outdoors. Surrounding countryside was thick with wildflowers. Victor, the manager, was full of suggestions about places to dine and see, many of which we took advantage of and were not disappointed. He was an enthusiastic resource!

We were confused by the address, which is in Olhao, but actually beyond the main town, and in another area. The GPS was not useful here, but we did get some help from the locals. We got the hang of the coastal roads, and went on multiple little adventures.

Ideally located for exploring the Algarve region. Very spacious apartment, intelligent layout. Parking inside the walls. Nice pool, enough loungers. Surprisingly good resto in 50m distance - not touristic as we are outside 10min from Olhao centre. Olhao is lovely.

Back of the building complex is to the main road, but doesn't really matter as it isn't noisy at night and insulation is good. Bathrooms get humid quickly and cannot be aerated directly.

The pool area is incredibly well kept and tidy. It's like having your own private pool. The rooms were huge, there was 8 of us and not once did we feel cramped. Everything is clean, the staff are lovely and attentive. We genuinely have nothing bad at all to say about Villas Marim, this is far beyond a hotel. Two nice restaurants next door (walking distance) Aldi is a 6 minute drive away and Olhao is a 9 minute drive away. The lovely Tavira is 25 minute drive away. Highly recommended staying here.

The dogs next door barked constantly, this is no fault of Villas Marim. Some sedatives in a rump steak should sort them out.

The apartment was unbelievably stunning. The pool was fantastic, they had an outdoor BBQ area, secure car parking, games, and really nice owners.

The kitchen facilities were good and the shower was good. the pool area was nice also.

It was hard to get on the main road from the property.

The appartment was spacious and modern with washing machine and dishwasher. The bedrooms were really nice and two bathrooms was a plus. Pool area is great for relaxing! We felt wellcome and had a great time. Would book this again if back in Algarve.

The road noise. Property is right next to a busy road. But didn't really bother us too much :)

A very beautiful and comfortable place to stay. I thought the rooms were very clean and staff were super friendly. There’s free gated parking and a kitchen and Washington machine which were very nice. I would recommend staying here!

We as a family of 6 recently returned from Villa Marim. The villa was exceptional, clean, comfortable and Victor the host was friendly and always on call if required. 10 miin drive to Olhao which offers loads of restaurants catering for all of us. Additionally there are two lovely restaurants 50 yards from the villa, we visited both. Beautiful beaches nearby, we visited Fuseta beach with a lovely cafe on the beach and on another day visited one of the many islands by boat. We also had a tour of the nature reserve by Segway, and visited the 'dead sea' salt ponds something my teenagers really enjoyed - floating in the salt lake and covering them selves with clay (good for the skin!). We decided not to hire a car as it would have cost £1200 for the six of us for a week, and instead opted for ubers which were reliable, quick and cheap, We went out 6 of the 7 days and roughly spent about £300 on ubers, this included going into Faro, Olhao and Fuseta. There is also a train station in Olhao which gives you access to the Algarve line. This was our first visit to Portugall and I was nervous as our holiday has to cater for 2 adults, and our children, 25, 18, 16 and 12! An important thing for the kids was wifi which was great in the villa for them to use their phones, switch and watch netflix when they wanted to. We had the 4 bedroom villa which meant everybody had there own bedroom apart from my 2 boys who shared comfortably.

Nothing could have been better, fantastic, I recommend doing your first shop in Lidls in Olhao till you get your bearings. Additionally Victor will do a shop for when you arrive, we asked him to get us a few basics which was appreciated after our flight.

the villas are very well maintained and the rooms are quite modern. swimming is open 24 hours!! the check-in is smooth. overall the facilities are great!

the check-out time of 10:00 A.M is simply too early! the trash in our rooms are not picked up & when we come back, the room smells a bit. the cleanliness of the balcony could be improved.

The villa was beautiful and the swimming pool was perfect and is sun-drenched all day! Victor is the nicest host you could wish for and he really wants you to experience the local delights and the area - his passion for the region is great! The room was clean, the kitchen was fully functional and had everything you could want!

Everything. Victor could not have been more helpful or friendly, the villa was stunning and very spacious, we had absolutely everything we needed- we just wish we could have stayed longer! The outdoor communal areas were also very well kept and the villas are in such a good location.

The villa was lovely and spacious, we didn't manage to hire a car, we were let down at the last minute, but managed well with a local taxi company who actually worked out cheaper than Uber, they just needed 30 minutes notice which we soon got the hang of. The pool and pool side facilities were great, we also enjoyed playing table tennis and pool. Olhao is so close and the restaurants and bars are lovely, we would recommend just getting a cab there so you can enjoy a drink. We all really enjoyed Doca the Italian restaurant and the Chinese restaurant just up from there, you can't go wrong really so many to choose from. We also really enjoyed Fuseta beach, Armona island , the private water taxi ride over was a little more expensive than the ferry, but so worth it, it was huge fun, and the walk across the island to the beach was so pretty with lots of cute bungalows lining the way, also Santa Luzia, there's a little train ride here to the gorgeous beach where upon arrival there are bars and shops. We loved it here, and feel there's enough left to do for us to return soon :o) The place was cleaned every 2/3 days with sheets/towels being replaced, there was also a washing machine and dishwasher :o) Finally, Vitor the host couldn't have been more helpful, he really made it, thank you Victor :o)

Being ridiculously picky, and extremely cheeky, but we felt the furniture was a bit dated, particularly the table and chairs in the four bedroom villa, and felt more modern furniture would work better, and be more in keeping with the feel of the villa, perhaps a quick trip to Ikea to change things up :o).

The villas are on a main road which is very busy and traffic is noisy. This does however mean if you have a car it’s ideally located to explore the region. The pool didn’t look clean there was a film over the water and debris in it so we did not use it this was a real shame. Floors in the villa also did not seem that clean our feet were filthy if you didn’t have slippers on and it smelt somewhat musty, perhaps because of the pandemic nobody had stayed there for a while.

The host was incredible. We were able to get in touch ahead of arrival to make sure we would be able to check-in late. We were given great recommendations and the host went above and beyond to help us during our stay. The location was only a short taxi ride into the main centre but the location was great for a relaxing break.

Nothing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again. There are stairs to enter some apartments and the reception area which may be something to consider for guests.

It was great to have a pool outside the door. We also liked the games room and that the house itself had air conditioning and everything else we needed plus a roof terrace and free use of bicycles. It was a comfortable and beautiful place to stay in the August heat. The knowledgeable concierge was always there to help and the fig tree with ripe fruit was also a bonus!

One bedroom didn't have an outside window and the space underneath the beds could have been hoovered. The internet is only good in the living room.
