E' una bella struttura proprio accanto alla scala che scende a Praia Dona Ana, pochi minuti a piedi da Ponta Piedade e da Praia do Camilo e una passeggiata di 10 minuti dal centro. La Terrazza vista mare della colazione molto bella e il buffet discreto.

Il parcheggio di fronte all'hotel è quello della spiaggia con non poche difficoltà per parcheggiare. Accanto alla struttura lavori in corso con conseguente rumore, non imputabile alla struttura ma fastidioso. La camera grande ma con un balconcino minuscolo vista parcheggio(dichiarata vista mare laterale) quasi a livello strada e pulizia non impeccabile(un paio di capelli nel bagno). Abbiamo chiesto aiuto alla reception sull'attivazione della toll card per l'autostrada e ci hanno gentilmente liquidati. Insomma non male ma a fronte del prezzo considerevole pagato una delusione.

Die Lage ist absolut top. Direkt an einem der schönsten Strände. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Tür. Zimmer sehr sauber, wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick und einer sehr großen Terrasse. Das Essen im Restaurant war super. Frühstück war okay.

We were out of water for a few hours one of the days. There is no room service. Parking depended on availability of public spaces (although we had no problem).

Parking gratuit juste devant, proximité de l’océan et de la plage. Personnel à la réception et au restaurant très gentil. Literie confortable, grand balcon avec table et chaises. Salle de bain fonctionnelle, grande douche. Petit déjeuner varié avec beaucoup de choix.

Les balcons sont éclairés la nuit par des spots et les rideaux occultants sont inefficaces, il faisait donc jour dans la chambre toute la nuit. Nous étions à l’étage sous le restaurant, nous avons donc entendu des bruits de chaises jusque quasi 23h et dès 7h30 le matin. Le sommeil était difficile pendant 2 jours. Il n’y avait pas de couette, juste un drap. Le personnel ne dit pas bonjour dans les couloirs. Les viennoiseries n’étaient pas bonnes. L’ascenseur vraiment très très long.

The proximity to the beach

Room wasn’t clean when we arrived. Staff was unfriendly. I paid for seaside view and could not see the ocean. I was told there are no rooms at the hotel where you can see the ocean you can only see if from your balcony. Water is not provided and we were given a hard time by the hotel staff to break a large bill. They do not clean your beach towels each day you have to use the same towel the whole trip. The hotel didn’t provide conditioner or change the glasses in our room. Electricity only works in the room when you’re in the room. There is a street light on all night that shines through the curtain there is no way to block it out and it kept us up all night.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Carvi Beach Hotel, and I must say that my stay was far from satisfactory. There were several aspects of my stay that left me quite disappointed and concerned. Firstly, upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by an unpleasant smell in the reception area, which seemed to be due to issues related to personal hygiene. This initial impression was certainly not the warm welcome I was hoping for. Additionally, the beach bar, a key attraction that influenced my decision to book at this hotel, was closed for two days during my stay. This was a significant letdown as I had looked forward to enjoying the beachside ambiance and refreshments. The air conditioning system in my room was another source of frustration. Not only was it noisy, but it also seemed to be in poor working condition, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The level of customer service and respect was also quite concerning. On multiple occasions, I had to knock on the staff door to seek assistance since there was no one at the reception desk. Shockingly, I was shouted at by the staff for doing so, which I found to be unprofessional and disrespectful. Security was also an issue during my stay. The safe in my room had low batteries, and it took an astonishing 12 hours for the batteries to be changed after I requested it. Furthermore, the safe wasn't even secured to the wall, raising concerns about the safety of my belongings. Equally alarming was the lack of proper security for the room's balcony area. The door had no lock and only a flimsy latch, which left me feeling vulnerable and uneasy about the safety of my room. The quality and cleanliness of the pool were far from satisfactory. The pool water seemed to be of poor quality, and it was evident that the cleaning was inadequate, which certainly detracted from the overall experience. Even my room choice (308, east side) wasn't spared from issues.

Very good breakfast, however bad choice of music in the breakfast area. Good location by a nice beach. Walking distance to town with many choices for food, shopping. Lovely walking path along the cliffs just in front of hotel.

Lack of parking made us not use our rental car in the extreme heat as we feared we would not get a parking spot upon returning. Hotel on an Extremely busy street with tons of people and cars (all though not noisy) from morning to night. Dinner in restaurant was very expensive and food not good. The view is nice however. One member of reception staff quite unfriendly.

Breakfast at the hotel was super and in a room with a fantastic view! Beach was very accessible and lovely. Walk along the cliffs to the point with the lighthouse was really great! Swimming pool on upper story was enjoyable, and the young lady who runs the snack bar there makes the best tuna sandwiches!

Hotel apparently is getting a little old and showing it and is now in a location next to a large building that has never been finished and is deserted. Cleaning staff was great and friendly. Front desk staff needs some customer relations training as well as in providing directions to restaurants and local activities.

Excellent location. Beach was located at the end of the street. Breakfast area had a lovely view across the water. Pool was nice, didn't have an issue getting a sun lounge, however the pool is locked until 9am.

When we checked in we found out we had a below ground level (level -1) room. This level had a foul damp/fishy smell that would hit you as soon as you excited the stairs/lift. We had family members staying on level 3 which had no issue with smell (they paid the same rate and booked after us). We asked to move to another floor and mentioned the smell and were told it "was probably the cleaning products" which it definitely wasn't. We were told we could not be moved as the hotel was fully booked. Other dislikes: - had to pay a £10 euro bond per beach towel requested. Used beach towels could not be swapped for clean ones. - gym locked until 8am. - reception staff not overly friendly - room was very basic, but was clean and had a good sized courtyard with table and chairs and a clothes drying rack.

Lovely hotel with great rooms.

The rooms seem slightly more dated than the photos but were clean and comfortable. Would recommend the hotel.

Staff has a attitude. TV transmission not working for the entire stay. Reported to reception. Gentleman response at reception. " Things at your house also break" And it will; not be fixed until Monday. I paid for a service at the hotel not at my house.Response was inappropriate and unprofessional. When I booked in two staff members at reception had a good old conversation.and I had to wait till they finished their conversation before they even considered looking up to attend to me.

We could hear people in the hallway and elevator from our room and vise versa. If you miss towel person you couldn’t get another one was a bummer.

This hotel is a great value for the money. We were very comfortable in our room. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

Our view was not noteworthy, but the patio was nice.
