We enjoyed a week at the villa towards the end of April. The setting, scenery and views are even better than the photos of the property. It was a perfect base for us to explore the Costa Smeralda (Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and beautiful beaches) as well as historical sites in Arazchena. Golfo Aranci is also convenient for food, ice cream and boat tours. It was great to see some of the beauty of the island but the real joy was having access to the sea at the bottom of the garden. That view would never get old! We also walked along a path from the villa (2 minutes) to a small secluded and lovely beach, that we were able to enjoy as our own! The villa was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our home from home. Giorgio was friendly and polite and all of our interactions were first class. He gave us all the information we needed for our stay and was prompt and professional with all his responses. We had a few days of variable weather but we used our hire car to visit some tourist attractions further from the villa and sample some local cuisine. I cannot recommend Villa La Ginestra highly enough, I could have sat on the veranda all day, just looking at the view. We even saw a dolphin whilst having breakfast one morning.

We stayed at this property mid October, for a week, and we wish we could stay a little longer... A family of three, two adults and a teenager. It is a lovely old house , very well maintained, spacious,equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It looks better than the pictures, and the location is spot on! The garden is huge, with a beautiful views , sun chairs , sun beds, and a hammock . There is a shed in the garden as well, with spare beach shoes and toys , so useful! The whole house has a home feeling, and that's priceless from our point of view. Regardless the location in Sardinia, what we found is that you must rent a car in order to benefit of freedom of moving around. And better rent it straight away from the airport, one way to the location only is 60euro, by taxi, just to have an idea about the prices. If you want to stay local, there is a small supermarket not far from and few seasonal restaurants, but late October not much around , so a car really makes the difference. I'm sure the house can be heated if needed, for us was just fine without. The internet was great for the first three days only , possibly poor signal in that area, we had to use our data . One of the double bedrooms with bathroom has a completely separated entrance from the house, keep in mind when booking a large family ,or ask for details . Giorgio, the owner, is a very nice host, always replying and so polite and helpful ! Highly recommended property.

Wir haben zwei Wochen im Oktober mit Kindern und Grosseltern genossen. Das Haus empfehlen wir sehr gerne weiter, wir fühlten uns im und ums Haus herum sehr wohl. Für viele Leute ist der Geschirrbestand (vor allem Teller und Kacheln) etwas knapp. Sonst alles perfetto!

Wir haben unsere Badeferien Ende September sehr genossen. Die Lage und die Aussicht ist spektakulär, der Garten ist gepflegt und einladend. Der Zugang zum Meer ist mit Badeschuhen leicht, das Wasser sehr sauber. Dank den vielen Fischen ist es auch ein toller Platz zum Schnorcheln. Die Einrichtungen sind gut und alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Giorgio hat unsere Fragen rasch beantwortet und war sehr hilfreich.

The house seems as if it is the family home! The owner just took his personal clothes and left the rest of the house, you need for nothing. Ther owner is also a very good artist! His painting are all on the weall around the house.

Wir (2 Erwachsene mit 2 Kids) haben eine tolle Zeit in dem Haus am Meer verbracht! Der Einstieg ins Meer ist mit Hilfe der Stufen sehr leicht, so dass wir unser Kajak und Stand-up Paddel viel genutzt haben und die Buchten in der näheren Umgebung erkundet haben!! Außerdem konnten wir in der Bucht vom Garten aus Delfine beobachten! Die Liegestühle im Garten sind Klasse - ebenso der überdachte Balkon! Vielen Dank an Giorgio, der sehr gut erreichbar war und uns super vorab informiert hat!

We stayed for a week in the nice villa at Golfo de Aranci at the sea. Kids loved to play in and near the water. Visited crystal clear water beaches at the Costa Smeralda,. Kitchen ; fully equipped,. Nicely decorated and feels like home immediately !

Das Haus bietet Viel für den Preis. Es ist sauber, die Aussicht ist Klasse, es fehlt an Nichts. Für die Mücken kann ja keiner ... :-) Wir haben uns 2 Wochen sehr wohlgefühlt!

Villa la Ginestra is perfect for those who enjoy swimming off the rocks. The sea is literally a few steps down from the villa at the end of a delightful garden. That is spacious and provides a peaceful environment in which to relax. From it and the veranda there are beautiful views across the bay with the changing light on the islands, and movement of ferries, and numerous yachts adding interest. The place is well set up for outdoor living and inside is attractive and comfortable with everything one needs for self catering. We were there at the end of July and would have appreciated the use of fans on the nights when the breeze dropped. There is a very well stocked supermarket 5/10 mins walk away and the local town centre is another 10/15 mins with bars, cafes and restaurants. A couple of safe sandy beaches are 10 mins on foot from the villa. These were busy. Further afield are some beautiful coves for swimming from. A car is needed if you want to explore beyond Golfo Aranci. The place was ideal for us, a family of 4 adults. The people we met were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely return.

Ferievilla i stille og roligt kvarter. God og hjertelig dialog med ejeren. Veludstyret bolig - inde og ude. Dog uden aircondition. Fine badestrande i gåafstand. En bolig man absolut vil vende tilbage til!

Die Doppelhaushälfte liegt ruhig, hat eine schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf das Wasser. Es ist mit Badeschuhen möglich, direkt am Haus zu baden. Zu Fuß ist der Strand in Golfo Aranci zu erreichen und der sehr schöne ruhige Strand vor dem Hotel Baia Caddinas. Im Haus befindet sich das Wohnzimmer und auf dieser Ebene die kleine Küche, ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Betten, dazu ein Badezimmer. In einem kleinen Arbeitszimmer steht ein Sofabett. Vom Wohnzimmer ausgehend, eine steile Treppe ins Untergeschoss, befindet sich das zweite Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und Bad. Vom Garten aus ist der Eingang zum dritten Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und Bad. Im Garten sind ausreichend Sonnenliegen und Stühle, um abends direkt am Meer die gegenüber anlegenden Fähren zu beobachten. Eine schöne Unterkunft, um die Costa Smeralda zu entdecken. Ein Bootsausflug zur gegenüberliegenden Insel ist sehr empfehlenswert! Möglichst mit Zeit zum Schnorcheln und mit Glück kann man Delfine sehen!

Comprehensive equipment comfortable property. Interesting art on walls. No air con. Lovely swimming off rocks at end of nice garden, and several nearby beaches. Insect screens could be updated. Convenient local shops and restaurants.

This semidetached villa is charming, set at the end of a quiet cul de sac with a private garden which ends right at the sea edge. The terraces were great for eating & working with a view. The villa is within walking distance of cafes and restaurants, 8 minute walk to a supermarket or the Baias Caddinas hotel, and 20 minutes to the centre of the town - we never used a car. The villa itself was sparkling clean and very well equipped with beautiful artistic touches throughout. We visited during some stormy weather and was very comfortable in rain & wind as well as sun & the owner responded immediately to any questions we had.

Villa "La Ginestra" has a unique location by the crystal clear sea of Golfo Aranci. Our family of 5 enjoyed 2 fantastic weeks in the Villa, which was clean, well maintained and well equipped. The rental was handled very professionally by Giorgio, the owner.

The villa was lovely and one of the best equipt I have stayed in; communication with Giorgio was excellent he always responded within 24 hrs to any questions, queries. We were a party of 5 with a toddler and a teenager, there were a couple of beaches within 5 minutes walk that really suited the toddler and the teenager loved snorkelling in sea the from the end of the garden. There was a very good supermarket close by and the night market in the town just 5 minutes drive away was great in the evenings. There were two good restaurants within walking distance and restaurants, bars and shops in Golfo di Aranci. Apart from local beaches there were lovely beaches within a 15/20 minute drive and the emerald coast and Maddalena Islands were all doable in a day. Having such a well-equipt base really made the holiday easy and was a great introduction to Sardinia.

Overall the house is clean, well stocked, and conveniently located to the grocery store and town centre, but far enough away to be quiet and away from any traffic. The snorkelling was great right off the end of the property and the garden planted with beautiful cactus and flowers. Indeed the locals generally have very delightful gardens to enjoy on a stroll around. The local restaurants were fabulous, we ate some incredibly good fish. The local shops sell some really wonderful art and ceramics by Sardinian artists. Two things that could have made our stay better: the provision of coffee making tools was not great. We couldn’t find one of the parts for the espresso machine so couldn’t use that and the Italian coffee percolator was too small for a family of coffee drinkers. Second, we had a few grey days so drying towels was impossible and with children swimming 2-3 times a day plus showering drying ourselves became a logistical issue. Spare towels would have been great. We stayed at one lakeside house that had a cupboard completely full of beach towels which was so helpful (though I was washing a lot of towels on that holiday!). Another thing which we had at a different rental was the option to hang mosquito nets over the beds which gives you the choice of not spraying yourself with bug chemicals right before bed! Otherwise definitely a wonderful experience and location.

We visited for a week in may. It's a very comfortable property in a lovely location with the town (unfortunately quite a lot was shut in mid-May) and great sandy beaches a short drive away. Our young daughter loved exploring in the garden and along the rocky beach at low tide. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Can highly recommend a stay here.

This was our 5th stay at Giorgio's beautiful Villa La Ginestra. The property is always prepared in a spotlessly clean condition. It is very tastefully furnished with high quality furnishings throughout and exactly as described in the listing. Giorgio is very efficient with communication and prompt return of the security deposit. The villa is in a very peaceful residential location with wonderful views across the bay of Golfo Aranci. We will definitely continue to return and we would recommend Villa La Ginestra to anyone who values staying in a truly beautiful location.

Very nice with loving equipment an directly at the sea with a private little stony beach, fantastic view from the big balcony! We enjoyed every minute!

The location of the semi-detached house in a quiet residential area and with direct access to the water was fantastic. A supermarket, pub/cafe and beach are within 10 min walking distance. We also used to walk to the centre of Golfo Aranci (roughly 15 - 20min) where you'll find plenty of restaurants, shops, ice cream places etc. The area is great for walking/hiking. Easy access by car to Olbia and plenty of other places / beaches to visit nearby. The house itself was very clean and extremely well equipped. Everything we needed was provided. Wifi worked well. Totally fell in love with the garden/balcony. Perfect for outdoor dining, relaxing and/or sunbathing. The house is on 2 levels and has some steep steps. It was perfect for us, but might be more tricky with younger children and/or the elderly. The owner responded quickly to queries. Communication was friendly and helpful. The booking process was straightforward. We're planning on returning! Thanks, Giorgio!

We stayed in Giorgio's house for one week in April. The weather was beautiful and it was quiet in the neighborhood, which was perfect because the house is located in a residential area. It's nice that the house is right by the water, since the view is really great.

There's a reasonable selection of shops in the village (5 minutes' drive) even out of season (late October), and the restaurant on the beach is superb. There's a fantastic selection of other beaches in the area, some of which we had all to ourselves at this time of year. We had an absolutely fabulous holiday here, loved the area and the villa and definitely hope to come back.

We highly recommend you to spend your holiday in this perfect villa. All the rooms were modern and very clean. New appliances in the kitchen. The garden felt very private, beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean. The location of the house is perfect, close to nearby sandy beaches and a very cute restaurant called Andrea. The owner has been very nice and helpful and the rental agreement felt really professional. We are for sure returning to this house another year, it was one of our best vacations we have ever had. We highly recommend it!

Dear Giorgio, We had a really nice stay at your Villa La Ginestra and enjoyed it very much. We found everything as you discribed. The location of the the Villa is beautiful so close to the sea. Everything in the Villa was very clean and even the beds were so comfortable, that we slept so well and relaxed. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that nice as we hoped. This is a very tastefully decorated property in a fantastic location. We love Golfo Aranci and this was our second stay in Villa La Ginestra. There is so much to do in the area, with spectacular beaches, wonderfully crystal clear waters and scenic wilderness walks. There are plenty of great restaurants to chose from within walking distance of the villa as well as a supermarket just a 5 minute walk away. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and furnished and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Thank you Giorgio for another fabulous holiday.

The location of the house is beautiful, far from any kind of noise in the secluded corner of the well-attended holiday village. The garden is beatiful full of marvellous smells of flowers and pine-trees. The sea is at your feet, and sandy beaches are in walking distance. The house is beautiful and more than fully-equiped, the only lack for us was the lack of internet and probably air-conditioning. Anyway, I felt in love with the place and dream of coming back!
