Einrichtung unmodern und nicht besonders ansprechend, leichte „Krankenhausatmosphäre“, keine Möglichkeit, Kaffee oder Tee im Zimmer zuzubereiten, Fön mit wenig Power, Lage nicht zentral in der Stadt, schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Frühstück ausreichend, aber nichts Besonderes ( keine Körnerbrötchen, warmer Kakao und Cappuccino nur auf Nachfrage, kein frischer Obstsalat, Croissants und Käse wurde nicht gleich nachgelegt), Atmosphäre im Frühstücksraum eher wie in einer Kantine

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and equipped with soap, shampoo and shower gel, as well as a nice hairdryer. Breakfast was quite good and the breakfast person was nice. It is a very inclusive and very accessible hotel.

One of the people at the reception was very unhelpful (almost rude). There is no reception after 21.00, which means that if you arrive for check-in after that you are really in trouble. If you are already checked in, it is not that big of a problem. The location is bad and, honestly, for what it offers (limited reception, not ideal location), the price of the room is quite high. The heating was set too high and there was no way to change it.

The position, though in an industrial area, is practical because of easy access to buses into the centre of town. Walking to town along the river is attractive (about 30 mins easy walk). Breakfast is fine and the breakfast room nice. Our suite was good, but it is important to know that access to the bed is via a spiral staircase.

The unattractive surroundings. The bar has the charm of an airport waiting area. Very unattractive to spend time there, plus limited choice of drinks (fridge for self service). No free water or chance to make coffee in the room.

It satisfied our needs. We did not book or take breakfast. Access out of hours was very simply solved.

The room was too warm and the ventilator tower seemed not to work to cool the room down (or, admittedly, I could not figure out how to work it correctly ;-(). It seemed to be fixed set to 26 deg C and, I could not figure out how to bring the setting down to a more comfortable temperature. If I let it run for a few minutes the displayed temperature even went up to 27 deg C. What was going on? I supposed, as I did not notice any heat removal connection to the outside, then it could only warm up the room.

The breakfast was OK. The room was not small.

On booking.com it says pets allowed, charges may be applied. When you have booked and arrive, the surcharge for a dog is a whopping €15 per night! Our dog is tiny, but no chance for a reduction. "Those are our prices," the grim woman at the reception said. We've stayed at many hotels with our dog and never been charged this much! Also, before the receptionist even greeted us, she told us that the dog was not allowed in the breakfast room. She then repeated this two more times without any prompting. She was no exception to the other staff. They are uniformly unsmiling, unhelpful and unhappy to serve. The location is really awful. Very far from anything worth seeing in Marburg, accessible only by bus or a train which never once actually arrived at the time on the schedule posted. The neighbourhood is actually a bit of a slum. An industrial zone with shabby apartment buildings nestled between warehouses and closed or failing businesses. A car upholstery service, a cabinet maker, and a depressing collection of kebab shops, liquor stores and an awful-looking pizza joint. The price is similar to hotels in the city centre and if you open a window there's a constant stream of noise from the nearby motorway.

Space in the room and the bathroom. Spacious bed. Good breakfast. A supermarket is a less than 15 min walk away (car 2 min). Wifi good and stable

A bit difficult to find in the first place and not directly in the city center. Info for lighter sleepers: the room heated up relatively quickly and with windows open the birds can be heard. Only one pillow. Also the breakfast a bit expensive in comparison to the variety - could be 2€ less or so.
