L'emplacement est parfait pour découvrir le centre de Saint-Denis et la chambre et salle de bain étaient très propres. Le lit était également confortable. Les meubles sont effectivement un peu désuet, mais personnellement cela ne m'a pas dérangé, car tout était propre ce qui est le plus important pour moi. De plus, le personnel est très accueillant et accommodant, ce qui est un + ! L'emplacement parking est inclus dans le prix du séjour.
En somme, c'est un bon petit hôtel pour découvrir Saint-Denis en quelques jours, ou alors en fin de séjour pour sa proximité avec l'aéroport (15min max en voiture hors embouteillage).
Il faut savoir que le parking est très petit, donc il faut savoir manœuvrer ! À éviter pour les grosses voitures.

Chambre propre, piscine propre avec des vestiaire propre. Personnels à l'écoute et sympathique.
Le petit déjeuner ne vos pas 15€.
Même si ce que j'ai mangé été bon.

The location was good.
There are no amenities in the room. You have to carry your luggage to the room by yourself and same for checkout. The place looks old and needs an uplift !

Our bedroom was tiny. But for one night, it was ok

Location is great, free parking a massive plus. Staff really friendly. Size of the room was good, matress and pillows were comfortable.
Toilet smelled, the curtain rail wasn't fixed, toilet paper holder broken.
Rooms need some love.

The attitude of some staff members was questionable
. When we asked about the breakfast, the staff only gave us the hours. It turned out later that the breakfast was not included in our booking. When we expressed our surprise, we were cockily advised, that we should have asked.
No swimmingpool available (in renovation), although the hotel uses it in their advertising.

The room was nice, clean and with a comfortable bed
There were lights in the hallway (second floor) which weren’t however functional, which made for some walk in the darkness…

There is air-conditioning, which is very useful in such weather. The room had a balcony.

The Austral Hotel is in an excellent position to explore the centre of St Denis - just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. Tip: Ask to loan a kettle in your room if you need to use one for making tea/coffee.
The museum is a 20 mins walk away and there are interesting shops and old residences to see on the walk,
The passage lighting on the first floor leading to rooms 100 forward is insufficient.
Parking is a bit tight to get into but we appreciated having free parking in the city at the hotel. Thank you.
The lighting in the parking area entering into the hotel could be improved.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is quite great.
There isn't a mini bar in the room. The pool is rather small and mostly in the shade.
