Lots of good social spaces, dorm was comfortable with AC. They give towels with a returnable deposit. Everyone was friendly, the lady who washes the clothes let me use the spin on the machine to dry my clothes. Great location
Staff were mostly volunteers who didn't seem to know how to convert dollars into colones or much else but they did recommend a good surf rental. The kitchen was a bit disorganised. Areas could have been a bit cleaner, bathroom could do with some TLC

-Nachtclub der extrem laut war bis am Morgen früh

-Personal war am Abend nicht mehr nüchtern (Drogenkonsum)

Las instalaciones estaban bien. Habitaciones grandes con aire acondicionado, el baño correcto, la cocina grande y limpia. Suficientes espacios comunes.
Para los viajeros que valoramos el descanso, no es una buena opción.
No pudimos descansar bien ninguna de las dos noches que estuvimos. Está muy bien que quieran organizar fiestas y actividades durante la noche, pero ser deberían respetar las zonas de descanso. Las habitaciones están demasiado cerca de las zonas comunes y el bar dónde se mueve la fiesta a partir de las 23h. En la descripción ponía que los espacios están insonorizados y no es verdad, se escucha perfectamente todo. Nuestra habitación estaba delante de una zona semi-abierta donde se podía fumar, pues tuvimos que salir de noche un par de veces a pedir que por favor que bajaran el volumen o se fueran a otro sitio. Si necesitas hacer el check-out antes de las 8h, avisar el día anterior. Teníamos que tomar un bus a las 8h y la recepción estaba cerrada.

Everything was perfect! The best hostel, the rooms are big and clean, there are activities every day, it's the perfect place to meet new people! The staff are great and make you feel at home! If you are staying in Samara I recommend this place 100%!

I had the best time at the hostel. I intended to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying 10 days - i guess that says it all.
Kiban and the volunteers are just amazing and they really make your stay unforgetable. Muchas gracias amigos <3
The kitchen in the hostel is really spacious and well equipped.
The AC in the room is a lifesaver and there is plenty of space to put your things.
The atmosphere in the hostel was great and when they finish their new commen chill area I am sure it will be even better.
I will definitely come back!
Everything was perfect. But in case you have a light sleep, bring earplugs - parties at Arriba Bar may get a bit loud. But no problem with earplugs and you should attend the parties anyways :P

It is a hostel that offers you, what you need for your stay. It is really close to the beach, it's comfortable and the kitchen has all the essential tools. It is safe, there is a supermarket, a restaurant and also good restaurants nearby. It is a place to have fun, sleep and walk around Sámara.

loved the location as it’s close to beach and downtown. my bed was very comfortable and the showers were ok. I liked the common area as it was good for a movie night.
I didn’t like the kitchen, no counter space and no fan so almost impractical for cooking meals as a hostel. I didn’t like how loud it was when staff had parties with guests. finally, when I tried checked in the staff was gone to watch the sunset so I was delayed checking in for 2 hours which you can’t exactly do as a business

Close to the beach and the rooms are clean and spacious. English speaking personnel is also a big plus for me.

Perfect location, friendly staff, good airconditioning in dorms which are big enough. Good kitchen and enough fridges.
WiFi is most of the time not working. Bathroom was not clean. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. There was no lid on the toilet tank. Toilet hasn't been cleaned for ages when I arrived. Room smells bad and curtains definitely need to be washed because I could smell them from my bed. Only on the last day, the room was cleaned. Would have been at least nice if they would explain the cleaning schedule. They only clean it 'extra' if you ask for it.

Sandy Toes is a home away from home! We had the most wonderful time here, so good we came back again! Kiban and his friends are so welcoming and make an effort to show the best of Sámara and leave with unforgettable memories

We’ve had the best time at Kibans 🫶🏼! Even came back after a week because we missed it. The hostel is the perfect place to make friends, party, chill and make memories for life! Special thanks to the people who work there :) they are SO nice to everyone! We will be back one day xoxoxoxo Annemiek & Hannah

I liked many things! I went there to stay some days and I ended up being there for 3 weeks! :)
- Location was amazing, very close to the beach and everything you need (bars, supermarkets, etc)
- The atmosphere is great, it is a party hostel and one has to know what to expect. If you wanna meet people and enjoy the party, this is your hostel
- Kiban and his family are amazing hosts, very helpful and pay attention to the guests and their needs
The only things I didn´t like is that the hostel doesn´t really have an "outdoor" area, which in such a weather would be amazing instead of hanging out inside
The kitchen was quite messy (mostly not the hostel´s fault but the people being very careless) and it would definetly be nice to find a better system for the food

it’s a very young party hostel, which wasn’t what I was looking for (but it’s great if you are). it’s next to a nightclub so there’s a lot of noise on weekends. no outdoor space.

Quick highlights:
Beds: Very comfortable
Staff: Super Chill and friendly
Kitchen: Well equipped and lots of fridge space
Rooms: Very well designed. Kitchen sink, table and full bathroom in room. A/C worked fine.
Safety: Very safe.
Common areas: Comfy couches, large screen TV in the main area. there are other smaller common areas throughout the hostel.
It can get loud when the disco in front booms till early morning. bring your earplugs and you’ll be fine…. or join the party !!

Front desk staff was amazing. We had a hiccup during check in and they helped us in the best way they could all with great vibe
Bathroom could have been better. There was a Crack in the door that allowed one of the beds to see you on the toilet. We had an unpleasant experience with Kiban (the owner) he can out aggressive and rude

The location is convenient. Close to the beach, stores, restaurants. If you want a party place to stay where you never get quite time, this is your spot.
LOUD, LOUD, LOUD. 24/7. No quite time, ever. The shower leaked into the room constantly. Management knew, but it was never fixed. Toilet clogged and management blamed the guests while fixing it. One guest was up puking at 4 am in multiple bathrooms after getting food poisoning from the bar next door. Other guests would party outside of the room until "quiet time" at 11, but then move to the bar next door where the bass was so loud you could hear it with ear plugs in. Samara is beautiful but if you want to sleep during your stay, stay somewhere else.

Dorms were very messy and bathroom smelled terribly. Very much a party hostel.

Nice staff and owner who tried to help you. The owner, who is very good at acting like an anonymous work, was very good at ensuring after 11pm people quite down, or go party elsewhere. It also is very close to the heart of the beach. Rooms had AC and sink, and there was plenty of appliances to make your own food. Wifi was also pretty good compared to other locations in Samara.

I loved everything about this place. The people who works there are so nice!! The hostel was super spacious and it had a great kitchen and hangout area. AC in the dorm. Perfect location. I regret not staying longer....

The hostel had a great environment, perfect for meeting people and party - if you want to. The stuff was really helpful too, with any questions you have! :)
You can reach everything by foot, which makes the stay even more comfortable.
