Not very private. Only 2 rooms in the house and the owner stays in-between the two guest rooms. Bed was not very comfortable.

Garland is easily the most caring and attentive host I've ever come across! He picked us up at the airport, got a cab to drop us off, actually went around the island showing us tourist spots, taking pictures and letting us know the best, local restaurants. I was actually expecting a bit of trouble moving around the island, since the location isnt in the main part of town, but there are two different bus routes that pass in front of the house, so it was super easy to get to pretty much anywhere. And Garland would always tell us which bus to get, whats the best way/time to do it, so we never got lost and even managed to enjoy a few tourist spots practically empty. The rooms are super clean, the breakfast is really good (his mom makes delicious natural juices) and there's even a friendly little pup to greet you at night when you're coming in.

Everything. The room was spotless, the house was spotless and the breakfast was divine and cooked just the way you like it. The owner, Garland, is really knowledgeable about the island and he is really generous with his time. He even invited us to eat a homemade local dish. It was scrumptious. I highly highly recommend his posada on the island. I have been to Colombia several times and he provided us with an excellent service. The location is near Rocky Cay and San Luis beach. I highly recommend those beach rather than the insanely crowded sprat bight. For transportation, take the bus as it is only 2600 COP. His posada is well located as there are multiple buses that pass in front of his posada. For last minute necessities, there's a tiends really close. Thank you I look forward to coming back.
