The house was very comfortable and allowed a lot of space to spread out. We really appreciated that the house was well stocked with many essential items such as soap, dish detergent, washing machine detergent, etc., as well as the picnic table, beach chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen, too, was very well stocked with cooking needs. Liked having the 2 dishwashers! Planned to book again next year!

The house had plenty of space for our group of 4 families to spread out and enjoy our stay. The hosts were very responsive.

Our family had a wonderful time! It is hard to find the perfect house to accommodate us, our children and our grandchildren. The house had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms! The kids loved the outside shower when returning from the beach! It has a nice large living space for all of us to hang together for games and meals. The host responded quickly and kindly to any question. It was a short walk to the beach! The house exceeded our expectations!

The house was great! Plenty of room for eight adults and four children . The owner Katie Ferrell was great to work with too. We had a problem with the washer not spinning properly and the next thing I know a new washer was delivered! It is a good location too., close to town about 10 minute walk and about a 6 minute walk to beach. I suggest that you bring a beach wagon to haul things to the beach it helps!

The house was fantastic for our group and close to the beach and downtown Bethany. Communication with the Owner Katie was fantastic. She let us know about every thing we needed to bring and checked on us after we got there as well. Highly recommend!! Mike

Great owner communication, nice property, walking distance to beach and town

We had a wonderful 2 week stay. The house worked well for our group; the elevator was an added bonus! Short walk to the beach. Close (but not too close!)to downtown Bethany for evening walks to get ice cream.

House had everything we needed but the carpet and overall cleanliness was very poor. We had a crawling baby that we couldn’t put down because the carpets were filthy.

The home is very spacious and accommodated our large group well. I was surprised to discover that we needed to bring our own bed, bath, and kitchen linens. At this point in the summer, the carpets had weathered a lot of grime and the house felt like it needed a deep clean overall. The house is located next to Coastal Highway and the traffic noise was noticeable. But, even though, the house had a short walk to the beach - which was the prime reason for our stay.

It fit our need

We loved this home in Bethany Beach that sits two blocks from the beach. The size, the number of guest who can sleep comfortably, the amenities (chairs, basketball, grill, outside shower, two dishwashers, gameroom, .......) make this home a real bonanza. The owner was proactive and communicated quickly for all of our questions or concerns. Loved it!!!!!

It was extremely easy. Not having to go to a separate place to check in and out was a wonderful improvement from previous years.

We decided to take our family on it’s very first vacation together. We had 9 adults/teens, an 8 yr old and two infants(10 mo and 4 mo). We had more than enough room and even commented when we arrived that we should’ve brought more people. The location was super convenient to be able to walk/ride bike to the shops in Bethany and to get to the beach. Would recommend that you take a beach friendly wagon or some sort of device to haul beach necessities(if you wish to take more than a chair and towel) since it is about 2 blocks to the beach access. Was not an inconvenience at all though. Owner, Katie, is super responsive, helpful and kind! Rooms are spacious and common areas accommodated us all with plenty of room to spare. We had a wonderful time together and enjoyed our stay at this home!

the spacious home allowed for the 13 of us to be able to all hang out together in the main room upstairs, while also allowing us to have our own space. the short walk to the beach and boardwalk gave us plenty to do!

This house is ideal for a large group with one whole floor of bedrooms and bathrooms and a great room on the top floor with kitchen. Because of the bed configurations it is great for families with kids too. The location is perfect as you can walk everywhere - beach is a few blocks away with a lifeguard and downtown Bethany is about 10 min walk, which is easier than driving and worrying about parking. The house was generously stocked with everything you could need including beach chairs and bikes. The owner was incredible and so easy to work with leading up the rental. We even had an issue with the water during our stay which was resolved within minutes of contacting her. I would definitely recommend this place for a great family or group vacation.

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Property well maintained. Carpets throughout ineed cleaning, old stains and wear notable. Owner easily available for questions.

We were 4 families with a total of 13 persons over the Thanksgiving holidays. The bedrooms and bathrooms were more then adequate for the 8 adults and 5 children. A real plus is the upstairs kitchen, dining and entertainment area it made for a real memorable experience. All the kitchen and dining gear was easily handling large crowds and it was in good condition. The boardwalk starts at second street so a quick two blocks walk to the beach and then from 4th street to 2nd street where the boardwalk starts. It is an excellent location if you like walking as we do. As others already mentioned the house is located at 4th and Coastal Hyw. which may not be to the liking of everyone. We had a memorable vacation and the rental arrangement was flawless. As a tip spend the extra money for the elevator as it helps with getting food, drinks and luggage to their final destinations.

It was perfect for our huge family! Everyone had plenty of room and the great room was perfect for all of us when we wanted to hang out together. The only advice I have was that the pots and pans might be ready to be updated.. although the kitchen was fully stocked, the non-stick on the pots had worn off making it not a fun cooking experience. Thankfully we brought our griddle since we've had that same issues with other rentals. All in all, great location, great place, great stay!! Thanks for having us!

An ideal place to celebrate an 85th birthday ! The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Our group of "very senior " girls were thrilled with the elevator, the accessibility of getting to the ocean and boardwalk, the convenience regarding stores and restaurants and the bonus of few steps from driveway/garage . The beds were comfortable, the house, although large, still offered private spots to unwind or "chill". It surpassed our expectations. We have already begun discussing returning soon and also the possibility of having our own individual family vacations or reunions here.

We are 7 women that spent a weekend here. Enough for everyone to have their own sleeping area and plenty of bathrooms. The home is well kept and clean, very comfy and well equipped. The owner couldn't be any nicer or responsive. Every question was answered right away. Highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time visiting Bethany Beach while staying in this home. There was plenty of space in this well kept home, to sleep everyone comfortably. Only minutes from shops, restaurants, and the beach, this home had all the necessary amenities and much more. You won't be disappointed!

This house has plenty of space for our family vacation. It has a great open floor plan for spending time together, but also enough room for everyone to have their own space when they need it. We were able to walk to the Boardwalk at Bethany and the ocean almost every day. The owner was also great to work with and very responsive to questions. We would definitely rent this house again in the future.

The house was huge and accommodated our 3 big families - plenty of beds and bathrooms, plus a fantastic great room to hang out in. We walked to the beach and downtown every day with little kids. Used every game, puzzle, and the Netflix at night. Only downside is the house is on Route 1 which can get a little noisy from the outdoor deck. We had a wonderful week staying here in Bethany. The house was perfect for our family week at the beach. It accommodated all of us comfortably, and had everything we needed to prepare meals and sleep.
