I loved the hideaway feel of this room, being situated in the garden and surrounded by trees was a lovely and made it feel very calm and peaceful.

As the accommodation doesn't provide breakfast, it would be very handy to have a small fridge for fresh milk and cold drinks. The shower pressure was very low, particularly for washing hair.

The bed was comfortable but every time one of us stirred the whole mattress bounced. A coffee/side table would have been useful, after we'd moved the tea tray from the bed the only place for it was the floor. I would have expected enclosed individual tea bags not loose (no idea what they were but didn't smell or taste like ordinary breakfast tea to me)

The room was clean and location was great close to beach.

Comfy bed, light and clean decor. Was nice to have a smart TV to use.

Lacked surfaces. Chairs were provided but these really would benefit from a small table so that they could be better used. Making tea and coffee was a little difficult as the area was very small and lacked surface space.

Beautiful, quiet and secluded room. Extremely comfortable and loads of space.

The way in is very dark at night with an uneven path, I almost tripped a couple of times (scaring the cat!). While the tea & coffee supplies were great, the kettle wasn't the best.

The location was exceptional, tucked away and very private. Very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Fixtures and fittings of a very high standard and feels very luxurious. Super comfy bed i think all that was missing was a complimentary pair of slippers

Beautiful place set in a lovely location. Very clean and very well decorated nice warm shower and very comfortable bed with lovely bed linen tea coffee and sugar an added bonus. A stones throw from the beach really lovely. Fish and chip shop amazing. Had a lovely stay

would have really loved a little fridge and more knowledge on the products as we absolutely loved the shower products and would have loved to purchase some to take home. otherwise we really loved it!

The Retreat was quiet and secluded. It was a short walk to the waterfront. The accommodation was very cleverly laid out, with everything you could need, and the bedding was good quality. Also the tea and coffee tray was very good.
