The spa was amazing and the masseuse was excellent. The food was prossible the best food I've had in Spain in the 10 years. The room was luxurious and the surroundings we tranquil and beautiful.

The bucolic location in the middle of farming country outside Figueres is lovely. You just have to know that there are real farms around with agricultural activities.

The location. The spa pool is lovely but a drinking water dispenser would have been very useful. The breakfast was very good.

We had a very noisy extractor fan directly below our window..it came on at about 06:30. We were above the kitchen. We had our massage appointments changes 3 times so that ultimately only one of us had a treatment. We were notified on the morning of our stay that the restaurant would not be open due to unforseen circumstances. We had booked our stay for a de-stressing break and had intended to eat in the restaurant so that we did not have to go out. Generally we did not feel the hotel merited 4 stars. We felt it was overpriced. The upstairs area and the areas around the outside of the hotel were lovely but the dining area and downstairs were not what you would expect of a 4 star hotel. We were disappointed that our stay had not lived up to our expectations particularly because we had booked to go previously but our stay had been cancelled at the beginning of the first Covid lockdown.

quiet,beautiful simple interiors

We are a Spanish couple living in London, so we were looking for a relaxing night and we came recommended by a friend. The hotel is located in a very privileged area if you're looking for calm and mountain vibes. The spa is small but has everything that you could ask for and the reception and restaurant staff were absolutely amazing. Food was pricy but delicious too.

The bedroom temperature was way too hot and we could not change it ourselves - we told the reception staff about it when we arrived and they tried to solve it. However, we couldn't sleep at all because even with the windows opened it was unbearable and we spent half of the night awake because of it. It's a shame cause both the environment and the place were magic but we couldn't enjoy our stay as we left more tired than when we arrived.
