hard to find the first time!

This is a very special place using a now centuries old silk factory to create a resort in a quiet leafy valley. Both the room (overlooking the terrace and the valley) and the bathroom were spacious. We had eaten too well at midday to try the trout dish on offer that evening but the guests who took it seemed content, the terrace offering a lovely setting for an outdoor meal. Similarly, we did not sample the pool. The breakfast, focussing on local products, was of great quality and variety. The path to our room was flanked by lavender. In the sunlight it was full of bees and butterflies.

It is not a complaint but the access road up to the hotel is only wide enough for one car. Just drive slowly and be prepared to stop and if necessary back to a passing space.

Beautiful set up, a lovely cottage in the middle of nature.

Saying this hotel is worth a visit is an understatement, this place is perfect for relaxing in the nature. Most importantly the restaurant is not to be missed! We visited some Michelin places in the past, would argue this is comparable if not better

Beautiful location right on a river. They have done a fabulous job turning this old mill into a summer resort. Do not hesitate to book a stay here. It is wonderful.

What an enchanting hotel, in a perfect secluded location. Breakfast and dinner in the courtyard makes for that special vacation feeling. The short walk down for swimming in the river makes it extra special!

Food was really good

A bit stressed because of the covid (some exit doors of the swimming pool are closed... Don't see what it has to do with the covid...)

The location, access to the river, the pool, the comfortable room, the friendly staffs. They take extra precaution with covid-19 which we really appreciated. We really enjoy our stay.

We would’ve liked if the room rate is including breakfast. Breakfast quality could be better, air con temperature cannot be lower than 24 degrees.
