Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen und äußerst gemütlich eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich gleich Zuhause. Kunstwerke, eine hervorragend ausgestattete Küche und ein großzügiger Outdoor Bereich mit Pool runden das Erlebnis ab. Darüber hinaus sind die Vermieter sehr herzlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben die Zeit voll und ganz genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir (2 Erw., 2 “Jugendliche“ 17 und 23 Jahre) waren hier zu viert für ca. eine Woche im 2. Teil ist unseres Urlaubs. Das toll ausgestattete Haus war ein perfekter Startpunkt für unsere Aktivitäten im Nordosten von GC. Ob Wanderungen, Baden oder Stadt-Touren - nach der Rückkehr ins Haus ging es erstmal in den Pool, auf die Sonnenliegen oder unter die Dusche im zweiten Bad außerhalb des Hauses - super! Abends dann Grillen in der toll ausgestatteten, überdachten Grillecke (mit gemauerter Theke, Waschbecken, allen notwendigen Werkzeugen usw.) - sogar Grillschürzen lagen bereit. Viele Sitzgelegenheiten und 2 große Tische laden ein zu einem gemütlichen Abendbrot oder gemeinsamen Spielen. Das Haus selbst bietet 2 Fernseher (wer es braucht ;-), aber auch eine Auswahl an Büchern und DVDs. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Gefrierschrank, Kühlschrank, Herd, Kaffeemaschinen usw. Durch das Fenster in der Küche kann man alles schnell nach draußen geben, wenn man dort essen möchte (haben wir immer gemacht). Ein edles Ambiente verleiht dem ganzen ein Gefühl, hier willkommen zu sein. Mit dem Mietwagen sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut zu erreichen (ca. 15min zum Hiperdino-Markt). Gute Restaurants im Ort selbst gibt es auch, wir haben aus Zeitgründen leider nur eines ausprobieren können. Alles in allem eine super Unterkunft und Ausgangspunkt für einen perfekten Urlaub!

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub bei Orietta. Sie ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin und die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen.

We just spent a week here as a family of four (two children aged two and four) and had a fabulous time. Orietta was extremely friendly and provided lots of information before we arrived and when we got there. The villa was very clean and extremely well equipped and the outside kitchen/bbq area was brilliant - the gas heater was also a great touch as the evenings did get a little chilly. We loved the beach at Las Canteras and also the natural pools in Ageate were a special swimming experience. The children loved them too an were fascinated by the variety of fish we spotted. I recommend going fairly early when no one else is around as they seem to get pretty busy around the middle of the day. Puerto de las Nieves has some lovely little restaurants and is very pretty. We had a great time exploring the island both the pretty green centre as you drive the winding road to Tejada and then continuing down to Mogan. Mogan and Amadores beaches were great for the kids to swim at and we had fun jumping down the dunes in Maspalomas. My only point to note was that the swimming pool at the villa is all one depth and is deep (and colder than the sea!!) so not really suitable for very young children which wasn't a problem as we just went to the beaches. All in all a great villa on a lovely island. Thank you.

The property was extremely well equipped as we catered for ourselves, it was also very comfortable. During the stay we travelled around the island to places where we had been many times before. The location of the property was quiet but only a short drive to the restaurants and bars locally. Also had good access to GC2. Thank you Orietta

Das Haus und die Terasse sind in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Sehr gute Betten, die Küche hatte alles, was man zum Selbstversorgen benötigt. Die Räume sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich mit Außenküche war unser Lieblingsplatz zum Grillen und Essen. Rund um das Haus gibt es unterschiedliche sonnige und schattige Sitzmöglichkeiten für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das obere Stockwerk ist eine eigene Ferienwohung. Beide Bereiche sind komplett voneinander getrennt und somit hat man seine Privatsphäre. Für größere Gruppen sind beide Hausteile hervorragend geeignet. Der Pool ist sauber und zum Bewegen und etwas Schwimmen groß genug. Für Kinder gibt es viele Spiele auch für den Pool. Die Eigentümerin Orietta ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt gute Tipps. In der Umgebung kann man gut wandern und es liegen einige archäologische Stätten in der näheren Umgebung. Ein Auto sollte gemietet werden, da die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etwas entfernt liegen. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier am richtigen Ort. Nach Tagesausflügen ist es ein Genuss ins Haus zurück zu kommen. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeberin, die den Aufenthalt perfekt machte!

An absoloute gem of a place, both geographically and asthetically. literally everything as been thought of the owner Orietta is very welcoming but not intrusive, everything has been designed with comfort and privacy in mind, extremely clean,including the pool, it was so relaxing there, 2 miles away are large shops. the port is also a couple of miles away so if you wanted to hop over to Tenerife for the day, you can! The only downside for us was the mainly spanish channels but if we'd taken more DVDs....there was wifi though so we were fine. we will definetly be returning asap.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in April. Situation in a gorgeous hillside quiet urbanisation. Was met by the lovely owner who showed us around the house and explained everything we needed to know. She kindly had been to the shops and purchased us some necessities as the food shops were closed on a Sunday. The house was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Every mod con that you would need is there. Washing machine and dryer was fab. The outside grounds were lovely presented, spacious and it was a bonus to have the pool and sunbathing area too. You would need a car when renting this property and there is ample car parking spaces outside the property. There is a lovely wee town 4/5 kilometres away, bars, restaurant, shops, harbour. Would highly recommend this property if you want a relaxing experience.

Orietta, the landlady, is a very friendly, open minded and helpful person. We are glad to got to know her. For that single reason our stay in her house was already worthwhile ... The apartment was equipped like your own (to be honest - even better) - we felt really comfortable and the swimming pool is big enough to do some strokes. The surrounding landscape is overwhelming. Food is available 3 km away. We will definitely come back.

We wanted to have a nice and quiet vacation without too much activity. Thats exactly what we got! Whether you want to get some cultural activities or just go visit the beach this house is the perfect homebase for your vacation. On the one hand it is situated in the valley of agaete where it is very quiet but on the other hand you don't have to drive far away for your daily needs like the supermarket. The house is very good equipped. A computer with internet and WLAN is also part of the infrastructure, so you can check how to get to the nearest sights. Meanwhile you have your meals on the terrace you can enjoy the nice view to the sea and the beach. If the weather is not too hazy you can also see Tenerife and its volcano - Teide. Furthermore the site is surrounded by walls and the terrace is not visible for the exterior. I also want to mention that it is very clean and comfortable! If you really want to find something not perfect it's the one missing dart ;) Orietta - the hirer - is a very hearty and nice person. If you need some help you can email her and she'll answer you very quickly. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We really enjoyed our stay in this well equipped house. The house was clean and the outdoorarea was very nice and we especially liked the LPG heater for chilly evenings. The valley of Agaete is very beautiful and the surrondings is for nature lovers. Everything worked perfect, if we had any questions we directly got answer from Orietta who is a very friendly and hospitable hostess. We did some hikings in the beautiful valley, that is highly recommended. We would gladly recommend this house to our friends. Thanks Orietta for a pleasant stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Ageate Valley. The house was lovely, clean and Orietta made sure the kitchen was fully equipped:). Our kids enjoyed the pool everyday and we got plenty of use out of the outdoor oven. The valley is beautiful and green with lots of excellent hikes and we also got to enjoy the coffee farm not far away "Finca Los Cantaños". We highly recommend staying here and are considering come back for another stay.

We have stayed in a number of villa’s in the Canary Islands and this one is the best. It is equipped to a very high level and everything worked. The indoor pool provided shelter when it was breezy, certainly good for keeping leaves out. The sun terrace catches the sun all day which was a must for us. Valle de Agaete is along way from the tourist areas in the South but we liked the quiet pretty countryside. Puerto and Playa de Las Nieves is just down the road, we liked it there. Orietta was very friendly and helpful. We would certainly consider returning maybe to rent the extended villa as a bigger group and would recommend to friends.

We were a party of 9 adults and stayed for 8 days. The villa offers very comfortable accomodation both inside and out. Even with 9 people there are enough outdoor sitting areas for people to sit as a group or as couples if you want a quiet moment. It is very well furnished and equipped, everything you need is there including 2 paella pans and a gas ring to cook your own version of the classic dish. The swimming pool was just right for a leisurely dip and basketball shootout before breakfast. The villa is close to the town of Agaete and the restaurants at Puerto de Las Nieves which serve delicious local seafood. The restaurant at the bottom of the hill below the villa is also well worth a visit. You definitely need a car to get around the island. Orietta, the owner, is a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful. All in all a lovely place for a break.

We stayed in here for 8 days in Fed 2013 - party of 10 adults and 2 kids. Mostly sunny with average temperature 23 degrees. The villa is massive, furnished with a taste, packed with all the necessities that most of the hotels wouldn't offer you. Very clean, full range kitchen appliances, reasonably fast WiFi, and even a PC with a printer! There are three (or rather four) terraces but the barbecue area was our favourite. It even has a gas bottle and two paella pans! The indoor heated pool is not that big but the kids loved it. It is 1.5 meter deep though so someone has to sacrifice to look after the kids ;) The area is absolutely tranquil, not a hint of noisy clubs and tourists. You definitely need a car though, we booked few very cheap online. Agaete village is 5 mins away with bank, post office, Spar supermarket, etc. The local port Las Nieves is 10 mins away with a small and quiet stony beach and fantastic small restaurants offering fresh fish dishes. Further away Las Palmas (the capital) has brilliant beach, lovely old town, cathedral, etc., etc. Then Maspalomas with amazing dunes and beach is further down south but it's worth the driving. Nice roads overall as well. Orietta, the landlady, is very friendly and organised. The villa is probably not the cheapest on the market but I honestly doubt you can find better value for money for a big villa as this on the whole island. Recommended for virtually any party and/or family that look for tranquil and relaxing break away from big resorts and noisy places. All the best Orietta

We stayed in here 6 days, with 4 adults and 5 youngs. Place was very clean and had modern technology. It is furnished with style and was cosy. Beds were great. Everything was superior, outside and inside. Barbeque area is excellent. The place is peace and quiet, but it is recommended to have a car, in case you like to see attractions of Gran Canaria. There are good hiking places close mountains, and trip to Las Palmas beaches is about 25 min with car. There is also much roofed areas outside, so even rainy weather is not problem. The pool is inside, but you can open the glass wall to small yard. Pool is 150 cm deep in every place, so it does not fit to smallest children, but it has door, so you can make things safe. The place is fully worth of money and has lot of space. We all would recommend this to families and small groups, who look own peace and relaxing vacation.
