Die sehr zentrale Lage, der nette Innenhof und die schöne Terrasse, die Freundlichkeit der zuständigen Mitarbeiter der Stadtverwaltung, sehr gute Infos und Tipps, die gute Anbindung per Bus, das Städtchen Agüimes

Hatte die Intensität des Karnevals unterschätzt (mega laut und teilweise alles geschlossen)

The house itself is marvelous. The photos reflect it very poorly. It is situated in the closed shared yard with another casa rural. On the first floor you have a kitchen/dining room, a bedroom and a bathroom. On the second floor by the stairs there is a living room and a big terrace (it's a pity owner didn't post it's photos). On the terrace there is a table and chairs, where you could admire a cathedral view from one side and a sea view from the other. The house is very antique and interesting, though it could be cold in the bedroom.

- the mattress is just horrible: it's so soft that it quickly becomes very thin sleeping on it - the bed linen is cheap, old and doesn't fit the mattress - to check-in first we had to go to the tourist center from where the manager has escorted us to the casa. It is not so far but was totally unnecessary to walk back and forth with our luggage - TV is pretty old and doesn't have USB support - the owner doesn't provide laundry detergent, shower gel or shampoo. You only get one small piece of soap that lasted us 2 days, though we have stayed for a week

Lo que nos gustó más a mi amigo y a mi fue la ubicación.

No nos gustó que la cama era bastante pequeña y era la única cama en el alojamiento. Al ser una pareja de amigos no dormimos demasiado bien. El alojamiento es enorme pero sin embargo sólo hay una cama. Creemos que el lugar mejoraría muchísimo con otra cama y mesita de noche en la parte de arriba en vez de una mesa con dos sillones. Tampoco nos gustó los pocos detalles: no había nada para cocinar (aceite, sal, azúcar) , tampoco había café/té. Había lavadora y no había detergente. Lo pedimos y nos lo trajeron sin problema. Aunque hubieramos agradecido que ya hubiese, así hubiésemos puesto la lavadora el día que realmente lo necesitabámos.

Nothing all was great

The Casa Rural is really spacious, located in the very heart of a beautiful town of Agüimes. Staff is very friendly, but surprisingly meticulous about the (pre-stay) administration - I was a bit surprised receiving (more than two days in advance) several messages and a phone call basically just about the time of my arrival :) I was also very pleased with the presence of WiFi, even though the profile said there was none.

The bed was rather small for having a high footboard - with my 195 cm it was not really possible to comfortably fit in.

Clean and spacious. Comfy bed.

The towels were changed during the week but it would have been nice to have had clean sheets too. The roof terrace would really benefit from having some kind of shade.....there is a sun umbrella lying up there (just as it was 18months ago when I last stayed) but no fixing for it so not really usable.
