Celebrating my wife’s forthcoming 60th birthday which is in January, she didn’t want a party but just wanted to be away for a few days with the family. Accommodation catered for all of us, from us oldies & our grandson who is nearly 2, even great for Tilly the dog. Such great views to the beach from the upstairs seating area off of the main bedroom, then there is the downstairs open plan kitchen/living room where everyone can interact. What more could we need, a few paces to the beach and at the end of the drive a pub & local shop. Just so comfortable for all of us, thank you Nick & Judith for sharing your holiday home and allowing us to have little piece of your heaven. Hope in the future we can return & experience it in the summer.

A lovely property close to the beach. Kitchen was well appointed, comfortable sitting room and bathrooms all nicely fitted out. Upstairs was amazing with such lovely views even through the rain! Great info book and contact with owner about a couple of queries was appreciated.

The property was excellent for us, as fully equipped as anyone could wish. We ran out of time to add to the visitors book. The only fly in the ointment had nothing to do with the property but access to the sea which for us was too difficult given the steep incline on the stony surface but clearly those with young children and more limber mobility were making marvellous memories, a joy to see, so for those fit enough, a perfect home and location

Second visit here & just a fabulous time had by all

It was our third year in a row and we loved it. The house has a wonderful feel to it and is very well equipped. Great location with stunning views. Our two Labradors did not want to leave the dog friendly beach!

An idyllic property for the young, old and pets too with beach access for the active yet retaining a private location for those who prefer a more relaxed experience. Excellent communication when changes in dates were required Good amenities nearby. Can’t wait for next year !

We had a wonderful relaxing stay with our Scottie dog who loved the enclosed garden. The property had an amazing space upstairs where you could be inside or outside and have the views of the sea, and we loved the decor.

Our family of 8 and the dogs, had a delightful stay at this lovely seaside home. The property was clean throughout and has a very well stocked kitchen. The sun room with views of the sea was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. Having the beach just a few steps away from the garden was fantastic. The garden was beautiful and very secure for the dogs. Even my tiny dog couldnt escape! Would highly recommend and I hope we can stay again sometime. Thanks

Immediately on arrival felt at home in a beautiful house that more than lived up to expectations, with a bottle of a bottle of wine on the table a nice touch. Great base for day trips and enjoyed The Cabin pub with a great landlord and daily fresh baked bread from the PO/local store but get there when they open.

We had such a great time at this property. Nick was great in letting us know information and coming straight back when we asked anything. House is located on a private beach with such lovely water we spent each day at the beach. Will definitely be back

Our second visit 6 months after our first. With a great location and views of the sea, it's a fantastic property to celebrate a special event with family of all ages, and wonderful that dogs are allowed. This time we were able to enjoy the garden as well. Cleanliness of the property was not up to scratch this time but this can easily be resolved. Looking forward to our next visit.

Communication with the owner was great from the initial enquiry. The house is great and suited us as 6 adults and 1 teenager plus dog. The view from the balcony is lovely . The location is perfect. We walked to the lobster pot about 2 miles along the beach towards Bognor Regis. That’s def worth a visit. Definitely recommend!

What a house! We absolutely loved our stay. The house is stunning and so clean and the decor is gorgeous. It has everything you need too - kids cutlery, plates, cot and high chair. The beach is right outside the back gate as well and so quiet. Was perfect for our dog and kids. There’s amazing places to go nearby too. The owners were also so lovely and answered any questions immediately and were always available to help!! Will definitely want to stay again.

Excellent communication from the host. Spectacular views from the first floor bedroom, excellent location.

The property was just as described, the main bedroom has a great sunroom and balcony overlooking the sea. Open plan living, dining and kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook your own meal. There is a second large fridge in the utility room. Nice sized garden with decking to the rear. The beach is pebbles and areas where it is steep due to the breakers but we still had lovely walks with the dogs. Just along the coast at Bognor there are sandy beaches. Walking along the coast, there is Littlehampton in one direction and Bognor in the other, approx 3 miles from the property. In the village are 2 pubs, both good, we personally preferred the Elmer which is also the closest. The chinese in the village is fabulous. Overall the house is great, we had 3 couples and there was plenty of space to all be together but also apart. Clean and tidy. The master bedroom has the sunroom and balcony which is just lovely, as we went in December the afternoon sun in the room was really pleasant. The area is a great base to explore. Would I recommend this property - yes.

Property was 100% as described. Extremely well equipped. Ideal location. Welcoming neighbours which is always a plus when staying in a holiday let. The whole family ( 6 + 2 dogs ) had a wonderful three nights celebrating a 60th birthday.. the rain didn’t keep us from long walks along the beach. Good communication from the owners. 5 stars . We will book again.

An excellent experience. Just what we needed for a quiet get get-together with friends. Shop 200 yds away for provisions, great chinese takeaway (ended up opting for that two nights running!), and plenty of lovely options for visits nearby (Arundel, Chihcester, Worthing....and even Bognor!). Thoroughly recommended and we will be back. One small suggestion - some all-year round patio furniture would be great (there was a table but no chairs) to enjoy the south facing garden (we were blessed with wonderful weather for October)....perhaps there was some, but we couldn't find it. However, that's no grumble, just a suggestion - a great stay, all round.

We all really enjoyed our few days stay here with the upstairs sun room and balcony providing an excellent space to celebrate a big birthday with family. The size of the property and number of bathrooms makes it perfect for adults and lots of space for eating and relaxing as well. Fantastic that it's dog friendly and fantastic communication from the owners. And what more can you ask for than wonderful sunsets and a private beach!

My husband, our dog and I have just spent a wonderful few days away at Sea Vale. The house was homely, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the wonderful views of the sea from the bedroom and walks on the pebbled beach. Great communication from Nick the owner. Highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return.

The property has been the subject of a full refurbishment in recent years and it remains in excellent condition. The owners have equipped it thoughtfully and thoroughly and its location right on the seafront is a delight. We will certainly be back.

The house suited us well, and we appreciate having ample parking. The location was good. We made use of the local shop and the playground for the little ones. Good communication with the owners before, during and after our stay.

A real home from home. Very comfortable and a great location. This was our second family holiday at Sea Vale and looking forward to returning next year.

The property was everything you could want for a great holiday, all the rooms were beautifully furnished and the cupboards in the kitchen full of everything you need to cook and eat in. Our grandson loved the closeness of the beach and the beach toys helped him build super sand castles. Communication with Nick and Judith was speedy and helpful. A lovely property that we truely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming seaside home in Middleton-on-Sea. Three generations of our family from the UK and US spent three days together playing in the garden and on the beach. The house was lovely and clean with a very nice garden for outdoor eating. Very good beds, well equipped and very handy for walks by the sea. I would certainly stay here again.

Great property for a relaxing stay whilst visiting Goodwood Festival of Speed. The view from the master bedroom is really something and you can hear the sea and smell the sea air from there too.

The property was perfect for a week away with friends and 2 dogs. The house itself had a lovely communal layout, with lots of seating so we could all enjoy a drink and chat together. The kitchen was well laid out and stocked with every utensil you could think of, which meant cooking was straightforward. The bedrooms were all a good size with sufficient room to unpack and store belongings etc. The terrace in the master bedroom was just lovely, with fabulous views out to see - we enjoyed watching a terrific storm one evening. The back garden was nice and secure for the dogs and a lot of privacy for us readers! The location was great - just a few steps to the sea and great for an enjoyable walk into Bognor. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Cabin, and a few afternoons and evenings in the Beresford pub. We did venture to the Elmer a couple of times, but overheard some loud and uncomfortable (racist) conversations by a very small minority of locals and we didn’t go back after that. Absolutely no reflection on the property, but something to bare in mind should you wish to explore the area. We would highly recommend the property.
