The view from the room was the highlight of our stay. We stayed one night and the property was excellent for an active little person like our toddler. The playground has a sandpit, lots of toys in the restaurant and even a portacot all set up for us.
Rachel, at the restaurant was a very attentive host and ensured every meal was perfect. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.
Our room was well equipped and comfortable.

Rooms could do with air conditioning very hot at night and only a noisy fan provided sand flies stop you opening windows btw book dinner there as nothing else available food was good

A very nice room, built almost entirely by pinewood. The room is clean, tidy and well-equipped. Staffs are friendly.

Location. Good size bedroom and storage
Duvet too heavy/warm and only other option a synthetic blanket which wasn’t warm enough. Over-priced. Cost twice as much as all the other similar places stayed at during our holiday.

Very very strong scent of wood in our family room - not bad! but how strong it was just came as a surprise to us - just something to be aware of for next time :) but we would love to try the single room next :)

Restaurant food was ok. not too expensive. Lake Rotoiti was beautiful
The website and select few photos looked good, (very few photos should have been a red flag) but the rooms feel like a high school camp. Very tired and dated with stained carpet and lino bathroom. Desk had crumbs on it and someone’s old socks next to the bed. I turned on the shower and it smelled like urine for a few minutes. Toilet splashes everywhere when it flushes. Can hear the neighbours taking showers and chatting as walls are paper thin. Super overpriced for the least comfortable place we stayed on our trip. Would absolutely not recommend

No dishwasher. Penalty for not doing the dishes. No fan in the bathroom. Living room not very private.
