Grandma loved the elevator, pool area was great, kitchen well stocked minus serving spoons and hand towels, close to beach access but public parking near house and lots of foot traffic, hot tub was old , broken and wasn’t fixed, our weekly fee could have bought a new hot tub, management friendly but we were disappointed to arrive and not be able to relax in the advertised hot tub. Bring all your beach accessories, chairs, towels, toys, balls, games because there are none at this house. No baby gate, high chair or cribs. Overall clean except the windows, definitely need cleaning to see out of, unpleasant feel of carpets on top floor, mediocre furniture, great sofa, two ovens and dishwashers were great also, nice outdoor furniture, outside shower basically a spicket. We go to the OBX every summer but probably won’t stay here again although it is overall a very nice house.

Tiki bar and pool were great. It would have been nice to have some pantry space in the kitchen to store food but we were able to make do with counter space and cupboards. Behind the house is public beach access parking which didn't affect us since we went at the beginning of off-season but the beach area may have the potential to get a little crowded in the high season. Great neighborhood for walking and bike riding. Everything was clean and updated. We were hit with a tropical storm at the end of our stay but we felt very safe in the house. Would definitely recommend!

The kitchen is well equipped with two dishwashers and plenty of dishes, pots and pans. However there is not a garbage disposal which is an amenity that I am used to and missed horribly! A small fridge would have been nice. The ice maker on the ground level quit working and was never repaired. A tech showed up and was there 5 minutes tops and said they would have to order a new one. Had a problem with ants on the top floor around the kitchen bar area. After we bought some spray it seemed to clear up. Overall we enjoyed the house and were there for 2 weeks.

My friend and now my husband and I were outside cleaning all the spider webs sweeping te outside the stairs need to be paint and the house needs to be power washed. The pool lights did not work.but the house was the inside. We dint like that the bump room was downstairs we had two little ones with us so they stayed in our room with us. We had a great time while we were there and a great weeding reception at the house.

Our group had a great time. The house was clean and had all amenities that were needed. We had an issue with the washing machine and after 5 calls to the company someone came out to fix it. The lights around and in the pool didn't work. The tiki bar was a nice addition by the pool. We had an awesome time and would consider the same house next year.

The interiors are up for date and generally appealing. The pool lights were broken when we arrived and never fixed before we left. The audio home speaker system was also broken and never fixed by the time we left. Not that this ruined our trip, just a tad annoying.
The location of the home to the beach is perfect!!! And the elevator was key for getting groceries and heavy suitcases to 2nd and 3rd floors.

This place is a great location and a great house. The elevator was a fantastic help with getting up and down, moving luggage and groceries. The house is huge, plenty of room with bedrooms and bathrooms everywhere. The game room on the lower level was nice. Plenty of deck furniture to use and plenty of deck space. The pool area was nice especially with the "tiki" hut for shade. We already reserved it again for next year!

The cleaning staff was very accommodating and made it possible for us to occupy the residence ahead of 4 PM check in time. We were able to get into the house between 1 PM & 1:30 PM, and we were very grateful for that. There were a couple of issues that were either not responded to or not responded to in a timely manner. We had noticed wasp nests on two of the 2nd floor outer decks. It was reported shortly after our arrival, but it took several days for it to be addressed. We also noticed ants in the kitchen. The response time for that was better and was addressed at the same time as the wasp nests. Two issues were not addressed. I reported that the light in the 3rd floor toilet area off of the master bedroom was out. I also reported that the tub/shower on one of the 2nd floor bathrooms was not draining. Neither of these issues were tended to.

They thought of everything...2 full size dishwashers, 2 ovens, 2 full size refrigerators, 2 additional ice makers, gazebo area by the pool (with a bar, sink and fan), chairs on every deck...I could go on and on. My only complaint is the bunk room in the basement was very small for the amount of furniture in it. My 17 and 20 year old opted to sleep on the couch. I would highly recommend and stay here again.

Very pleasant and attractive accommodations, well equipped kitchen (though it took a while to find everything). House was very clean, though we did find some empty water bottles left under one bed. House was exactly as described, and the property management was very responsive.

NOTE: one of two dishwashers and one of three ice makers were out of commission the entire week. Flies were a problem in and around the house and pool. The washing machine made a horrible loud noise!

None of the negatives impacted our enjoyment. Lovely week, would definitely rent this property again.
