Everything was good, good contact with owner, clean apartment, well equipped. Contactless check in.

Noise from the street, but there were earplugs, which helped to sleep. For me minus is also no windows, no natural light.

The flat is perfectly kept. There are complimentary water and coffees. The bed is so comfy!!! Thank you Ludovico, we will be back

Location was great, close to the center, everything was walking distance with many cafes, restaurants and shops super close. Parking was also easy on the road infront of the apartment. Loriana was really friendly, helpful and easy to communicate, she even provided us with tips and must do's.

The road was a little bit noisy and the noise cancellation of the house wasn't so good but it was manageable. We couldn't connect to the wifi and the mobile data didn't always function inside the apartment.

Gorgeous gorgeous place to stay , very luxurious. Great location only 10 mins from the centre, the property has everything you’d need including an iron and all kitchen bits. The host is lovely and very helpful. Great choice of parking outside (parking in the blue zones - you pay twice a day between 8-13:30 & then again at 15:30 - 8pm)

The only fault is the comfort of the beds (maybe extra pillows would help) & the noise of outside.

The apartment was clean, fresh and close to everything we needed. There was a nice thoughtful welcome gift of snacks and goodies when we arrived. The hosts were always contactable and extremely helpful throughout our stay. They help us with directions to luggage storage etc. We did not have the tourist tax in cash so we were able to pay via PayPal which was really helpful. If I ever get to visit catania again, I would stay here.

Great location, very comfortable place to stay if you want to be around center. Comunication with the owner was great as well. She was always ready to help or give an advice. I would def come back if I will stay in Catania again.

It’s located directly on the street. Till 10-11pm there are cars crossing by. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if someone have a problem with sleeping I would consider stay here.

Location close to the city center. Good communication with the owner and easy check-in/check-out process. The place was very clean and very well-equipped, including an iron and a washing machine, jf needed.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of a building in a quite busy street. There is absolutely no sound isolation, both from the street and from the next-door neighbours. There is a window above the entrance which lets in a lot of streetlight and makes it difficult to fall asleep.

Nice and modern apartment, clean, comfortable bed, good location (15 min from the city center by foot). Responsive host.

Most people who use Booking.com are individual tourists who plan their holidays by themselves. By making a Booking reservation, we are looking for a place where you can rest and relax. Dimora Umberto Apartment, unfortunately, is the opposite. The apartment is 50 centimeters away from the busy street corners, so you constantly hear car honks and other traffic noises (both day and night). If you would like to rest in Catania, I would recommend a different place to stay. PS Suggestion to not put toilet paper in the WC is just gross. Are we in the Soviet Union in the 50s?!

A little bit too loud. Noises from the street via ventilation in the bathroom. Missing of the window can be a liitle bit of surprising. However ligth is coming through the glasses arround the doors. For 2-3 days is ok.

The apartment is very spacious, with everything you could possibly need for your stay (including a washing machine, coffee machine, plates and pots etc). It is located in a quiet area, but within walking distance to the city centre and main attractions, so we did not use public transportation much. The host is fantastic, and communication was fast and efficient - she even gave us some helpful tips for getting around the area!

The apartment is excellent value for money. However, there are a few downsides, which may or may not ruin your stay. Firstly, the walls are incredibly thin. We could hear our neighbors talking, watching TV, having sex, or snoring, and it all felt like we were in the same room. We had a good night's sleep for the first night, but didn't get so lucky for the other two nights. Secondly, the fact that the flat is a loft and the air conditioning is in-between floors means most of the cold goes downstairs, with very little coming up, which meant it took a while for the sleeping area to cool off. Lastly, the water temperature and pressure were less than ideal - great for a shower, not so great if you have long, thick hair to wash. I am not saying these as reasons to not choose this place, but rather to encourage other travelers to prepare better than we did and make the best of this great flat, which offers excellent value for money despite its small flaws. All in all these could be easily addressed by future travelers - pack some earplugs, turn on the AC 30 minutes before going to sleep, be patient with your time in the shower.

I liked the whole house overall.

The Catanian locals are very unwelcoming and unfriendly.
