staff were nice, breakfast was pretty good

when booking it was a toss up between this and another property. what got me to book here, was the allure of likely self proclaimed ‘luxury’ rooms and the location next to Germanic Village, highlighted by a photo of a view of this iconic portion of town right from one of the windows. you’d be far better off staying in the centre. the street it is on isn’t great and I couldn’t tell you about the surrounding area because our window faced a wall. the wifi didn’t work, the room was very small, and felt anything but luxury. hoping for at least a good sleep, we were woken up several times in the night because we could hear people through the paper thin walls going to and coming back from a night out. we have stayed in many places that match the price point of the property and all of them exceeded this experience. there are just to many other options in the same price range for you to spend your money here. there is nothing luxury about the rooms or the location.
