This apartment was centrally located to the boardwalk, train station and local shops and markets. It was comfortable and safe. We enjoyed our time there and would recommend this place to others.

Anne was a wonderful host, turning up later than arranged as our flight was delayed. The apartment was brilliant in a wonderful location and the carpark space is a real bonus. air-conditioning in both our bedrooms and the main sitting room made for a comfortable space. Right beside a supermarket, small bar and restaurants.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, la casa era pulita, spaziosa e provvista di tutto. La proprietaria è stata disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. La casa è a 500 metri dal mare e ha intorno bar, ristoranti e supermercato, insomma tutto ciò che serve.

I had a difficult time writing this review because I felt that our experience here my be just a one-off; but this is what I'd tell a friend. It is our personal experience, notwithstanding very positive reviews. My wife and I stayed five nights. Overall, an okay experience. Anne and her son were responsive. Parking was convenient, safe, and made for an easy in and out of the town to visit surrounding villages. But the apartment felt like beach house that was just opened after a long winter. There was only one adapter for appliances that need a ground, like refrigerator, iron, washing, machine, hair dryer, etc. (But Anne's son promptly brought a few extra.) One bathroom had a fair amount of mold on the window pane and sill, and my wife felt the apartment hadn't been properly cleaned. Also, my wife disliked using the tub because it was slippery and the shower because of the mold. The internet reception was mediocre requiring that I connect my laptop directly to the router with a cable. All in all, if you need the room and the beach and nightlife are the main attractions for you, this is probably a very good place to stay.

Anne was extremely easy to communicate with. She asked any questions promptly. The property was very clean, spacious and located within easy walk to the beach, local bars and restaurants. The underground parking was excellent. We would definitely stay here again as a family group, as it more than met our requirements.

Die Wohnung ist besser als die Fotos es zeigen. Gute Ausstattung und beste Lage für Ausflüge durch die Nähe zum Bahnhof. Noch näher ist es zum Strand. Parkplatz in der Parkgarage ist Gold wert.

La casa è dotata veramente di tutto in particolare in cucina c'è ogni tipo di accessorio. È a 200 m dalla passeggiata ed in generale in pochi km c'è tutto quello che si può desiderare per una vacanza: Mare, montagna città d'arte ecc ecc Anne ci ha accolto con grande gentilezza e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie 10 e lode!!

Appartamento grande con tutto ciò di cui potreste avere bisogno. Zona ben servita di bar, minimarket, ristoranti ecc, a 2 passi dalla spiaggia e dal centro. Il garage privato una comodità assoluta: indispensabile per una vacanza senza pensieri. Proprietaria gentilissima e disponibilissima. In generale ci siamo trovati bene nell'appartamento, lo consiglio!

Fijn appartement op een centraal punt in Viareggio om daar vanuit alles te ontdekken. Alle voorzieningen en restaurantjes dichtbij. Behulpzame verhuurster Anne Cochard die je overal mee kan helpen.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. It is ideally located with a bakery and ATM/cash point just outside and a small supermarket, 24 hour pharmacy, restaurant and pizzeria around the corner. It is a less than 10 min walk to the main promenade, the main piazza or the lovely Pineta di Ponente. Anne is an excellent hostess and we plan to return again next year. Thanks for another lovely stay !

Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub! In einer Wohnung, wo alles stimmt. Bäcker unten im Haus, zu Fuß in 5 min am Strand, alles fussläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Natürlich bei dieser zentralen Lage ist die Straße bis in die späten Nachstunden gut belebt, aber das ist auch ein Stück Italien. Man geht nach einem Tag am Strand bis spät noch auf die Promenade, ob zum shoppen oder lecker essen oder einfach Spazieren. Wir würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

We really enjoyed our stay in Anne’s lovely apartment. It was spacious and stylish and had everything we needed. Anne was very helpful and responded quickly when we had any questions. The location couldn’t have been better - a bakery on the doorstep, supermarket round the corner and the beaches and town a 5/10 minute walk.

We only stayed for a few days, but enjoyed our visit. I recommend renting bikes as that is really the only means of transportation . Her place has plenty of space and all of the essentials you need. It was nice to spread out and cook meals for a few days. The grocery store on the corner was excellent.

Anne nous a accueilli avec gentillesse dans son appartement qui est décoré avec goût ! Il est très bien situé a quelques minutes de la mer et des plages, on peut même la voir du balcon du salon ! Néanmoins, nous avons vécu une fête (musique forte, cris, chaises) de jeunes voisins du dessus (dernier étage) qui nous a empêché de dormir jusqu'à 2h, dommage car sinon le séjour aurait été parfait.

Five of us (my father, wife, and two children) spent two weeks at Anne's three bed flat and really enjoyed the central location: grocery, bakery, bar, and bancomat right on our doorstep. It was lively and occasionally loud in the evening, but it made us feel like we were in the thick of it. The apartment is in good shape and our only gripe would be that the internet wasn't as fast as we would like. But its vacation in Italy and we probably shouldn't be spending too much time online anyway. And the parking space can't be overrated! We definitely would recommend staying here if you like a city feel close to the beach.

Das Appartment ist zwar nicht neu, jedoch solide ausgestattet - man hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage der Whg ist super, man hat alles in direkter Nähe.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung (WLAN, Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine) in zentraler und strandnaher Lage. Bäcker im Nebengebäude, Supermarkt ums Eck.

Super nette Vermieterin. Der nächste kostenlose Strand ist zwar zu Fuß weit weg, aber mit dem Rad schnell erreichbar.

The apartment is on the first floor served by an elevator and with private parking underneath. Airy and spacious with three bedrooms, it was perfect for us and our two little boys. It was the middle of August and hot but the air-conditioning coped perfectly... it was a treat to take the boys downstairs to the baker shop for fresh bread each morning. The post office is just next door, as well as a little neighbourhood bar and a small supermarket is just around the corner. We arrived by train and it was just a ten minute walk to the station, which is well connected to Pisa, Lucca, Florence and La Specia amongst others so made a great base for exploring. The beach was just a couple of minutes walk and we were close to many nice local restaurants and bars, a perfect location. The park nearby was a perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening with the children, playing on the rides, or hiring bicycles to ride around the park. Plenty to see and do for our young family. The apartment was well equipped, and Anne was the perfect host, meeting us upon arrival and departure, and offering tips and advice whenever required. Nothing was too much trouble, we had a lovely week.

This is a great apartment, cosy, close to the beach, shops, supermarket, bakery and to the very nice park, full of attractions for children. The owner, Anne, was very helpful. I would highly recommend it!

We, as a family of 5, stayed in this nice place end of June for a beach holiday with the kids. The apartment was very nice and well equipped with a very friendly and helpful host. The Apartment was well located directly next to a bakery, supermarket, etc. and within a couple of minutes from the beach, pedestrian street and all other things you want to reach in Viareggio. Overall very recommendable.

We already stayed several times in this apartment. This time the first time with a little baby. Everything was perfectly prepared/organised. Thank you. See you next year.

The apartment is nice and spacious. It is easy to keep cool with the two air conditioners and plenty of windows. Even in late July, they often catch a cool sea breeze. The windows, together with the three balconies, give the apartment an open feel. The location is great, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and promenade, and 10 minutes to the train station. There is a bakery right downstairs and a grocery store around the corner. In addition, Anne is a great host! Overall, I can highly recommend this apartment.

This apartment is large, and the description of its amenities is complete and accurate. Anne was very nice in answering my questions and taking care of problems with the apartment. Some of the possibly important details for other travelers: the garage space accompanying this apartment is a MUST during the tourist seasons, I traveled around daily and could not have survived without it; one of the showers is full sized for larger folk; a complete supermarket is around the corner, and practically everything else needed is very close by; the Wifi is somewhat slow; apartment has lots of dishes and glasses; you will hear street noise, but it is not overwhelming; the couch is overstuffed and soft, but the front master bedroom mattress is nicely firm; and lots of closet space. This is a charming place to stay.

My husband & I together with friends rented this delightful apartment for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is delightful, immaculately clean and equipped with everything we required. Although our flight was in the evening, we were welcomed to the apartment by the owner's daughter and felt at home straight away. Viareggio is a very nice seaside town, everything is within walking distance it has one of the nicest beaches we have ever been on....transport is very convenient, the railway and bus station being just a short walk from the apartment. We visited a couple of restaurants though to be honest we struggled a bit with the restaurant menus as the restaurants on the Tuscany coast are very fish orientated and we just don't much like fish....we survived however on pasta and pizza, and managed to find good cold meats and chicken in the supermarket which we cooked ourselves. The owner of the apartment Anne Cochard is a charming lady for whom nothing was too much trouble ....I would not hesitate to recommend Anne and the property to anyone planning a holiday in Tuscany.
