Excellent location, nice furniture, beautiful view.

Fourth floor apartment with elevator, well decorated, bedrooms with beautiful view of the sea. Antonio and Giannina are a very friendly and attentive host, to the point that Giannina drove us to the nearest town after asking for directions to get there.

The recycling program (great!) can be confusing. The fridge needs attention

1) No one met us or seemed to remember the appointed time. We had arranged time of arrival with host beforehand but no one was there. When we phoned after waiting 15 minutes, host was surprised we were there. We never met her. She sent her husband. 2) When I book and pay for a 2-bedroom property I expect 2 bedrooms. The husband showed us a single bed and bedroom and we objected. He passed his phone for us to talk to the host, who was adversarial and said she assumed because we were two people we would only want one bed and bedroom. She said we should have TOLD her we wanted two beds/bedrooms. Husband solved problem with a sofa bed in the living room (although that room disappeared when the bed was opened). Host should realize there are people in the world other than couples, but that's not the point. Provide what is advertised and paid for. 3) Host provided 1 threadbare bath and hand towel each, one with a hole that was more like a rag. NO bidet towels were provided (despite the presence of a bidet). No kitchen tea or hand towels or paper towels. 4) We met with resistance to our request for another roll of toilet paper ... and we needed to ask twice. 5) So-called "clean" dishes were stacked on a kitchen shelf and all were wet. (But no towels). 6) Lack of cleanliness everywhere. Spills on kitchen chairs that could have been wiped. Numerous stray hairs and dirt that would not have existed with the most rudimentary cleaning. Other people's used product packets in bathroom. A fridge freezer badly in need of defrosting. 7) Beds not terribly comfortable and linens cheap. 8) The wrong password was provided for WiFi. This problem took some time to resolve. 9) We were slightly saddened by the lack of any welcoming biscotti or, well, anything at all. This was unlike any place I've stayed in Italy for the past 30 years. (Barest kitchen necessities were present: oil, coffee, tea, salt.) 10) Response time: the next day.

Generally, it is a fantastic apartment and the host is even more wonderful! The flat contains all you need for a short or long stay - from washing machine to coffee and sugar. Located in a calm neighbourhood where finding a parking spot for your car (free or charge with host's provided sticker) is not difficult at all. Thank you Gianina!

Perhaps the only downside was thin walls in the apartment - you can very well hear Italian neighbours talking/shouting in early mornings or late nights :)
