The house is a real gem, it is very spacious, clean, tastefully furnished und fully equipped. It has lots of space outside, too, and a perfect view on the fjord. Ideal for a relaxed vacation as you can sunbathe on the terrace, take a swim, walk or rent a boat from the hosts. A supermarket and a restaurant at the shore are nearby. Elin and her husband were most helpful, easy to contact and friendly. All in all, we had a great week in Strandvik. Strongly recommended!

This was our second stay, once in Winter, now in Summer. The house is as cosy a home as possible. The hosts are very welcoming and totally helpful. We look forward to visit again.

The photos do not do it justice. The house is beautiful, the views incredible! The house has everything you could possibly need. Peaceful place 1 hour from Bergen. Elin could not have been a better host. No doubt at all we will be back if we should decide to visit Norway again.

Very nice, well equipped and clean cottage with beautiful views on the fjord. Reactive and nice owner. Everything was perfect. Ideal place to spend family holidays in nature. Nice walks not far from the cottage. Fireplace is very cosy during winter time. Easily accessible from Bergen and Bergen airport.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful home and like all the other reviews mention, the pictures posted don’t even compare to being there in person. It was breathtaking! This home had everything we needed and not one thing was unaccounted for. If you are looking to stay somewhere quiet and more secluded, with panoramic views of the fjords and where there are layers upon layers to the starry night skies, this is the place to be!

We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday here. Elin is a wonderful host and the house is perfect. We especially liked the peace and quiet, and of course the fantastic view of the fjord. I can highly recommend this house for relaxing holidays.

Ein Haus am Fjord...
...mit sensationellen Blick auf den Fjord und die Berge. Bei klarer Sicht ist auch der Folgefonna-Gletscher in der Ferne zu sehen.
Das Haus ist wunderbar mit Liebe zum Detail und wirklich sehr guter Ausstattung eingerichtet. Die Terrassen laden fast bei jedem Wetter zum "draußen sein" ein. Ein geräumiges Haus zum Wohlfühlen, dass sich durch den Vermieter seit dem letzten Urlaub dort noch "weiterentwickelt" hat! Wir waren zum zweiten Mal da und es wird sicher nicht das letzte Mal sein.

The warmest welcome
We felt wholeheartedly welcome. The house was spacious, absolute nicely decorated and well equipped. It's large window front allowed for generous sunlight even in winter.

Wohlfühlhaus absolut toll
Ein Haus in Traum Lage, auch bei schlechtere Wetter fühlt man sich dort wohl. Toll eingerichtet mit viel Geschmack. Bett Schlafzimmer 1 war allerdings nichts für uns, viel viel zu weich. Sonst alles Prima, ganz liebe Vermieter.

Einfach einzigartig!
Wir sind sehr nett empfangen worden und bei (kleineren) technischen Schwierigkeiten mit dem Boot haben wir sofort Hilfe bekommen. Wunderschönes, komfortables und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit einem einzigartigen Blick auf den Fjord. Beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse konnten wir sogar eine Gruppe von Schweinswalen beobachten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Flott hus, meget høy standard, stille og rolig. Beliggenheten kan ikke bli bedre hvis man vil sole, bade, fiske og gå turer.

Wunderschönes Haus in perfekter Lage
Wir haben unseren zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt in Strandvik sehr genossen.
Das Haus bietet alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Alles ist picobello sauber, hochwertig und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.
Die Lage direkt am Fjord ist traumhaft!
Wir konnten regelmäßig Schweinswale von der Terrasse beobachten (Fernglas im Haus vorhanden).
Zum Glück haben wir das Boot genutzt. Sogar extremst unerfahrene Angel-Neulinge (wie ich) haben hier Erfolgserlebnisse (Leng, Schellfisch, Köhler, Rotbarsch).
Elin und Jostein waren bei Fragen sofort zu erreichen.

Traumhaus - uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert 😍
Wir waren das zweite Mal in diesem Haus und werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen.
Es ist ein Traumhaus in perfekter Lage. Angeln, wandern, Boot fahren, baden... Wir lieben es.
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und stets ansprechbar.
Alles perfekt.

Phantastisches Ferienhaus
Ein wirklich wunderbares Ferienhaus (unser bisher schönstes) mit breitem Blick auf den Fjord. Sehr geschmackvoll und wohnlich eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht. Wirkt alles sehr neuwertig. Neben dem Bad gibt es noch ein zusätzliches Gäste-WC, das stand in der Beschreibung gar nicht drin. Sehr nette Vermieter. Auch der Ort ist sehr schön und die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern ein (unbedingt auf den Bogafjellet wandern!).

Heerlijke week gehad
Het huis heeft een enorme 'wow-factor' en voelde meteen als thuis. Heerlijk weekje in alle rust bijgekomen en genoten van het uitzicht. Supermarkt in de buurt voor de dagelijkse boodschappen. Eigenaresse is zeer vriendelijk. Wie weet komen we nog eens terug!

Traumhaus in Traumlage, kommen gerne wieder!
Ein Traumhaus mit stilvoller hochwertiger Ausstattung. Alles sehr sauber und es ist alles ist vorhanden was man braucht. 2 Supermärkte und ein Restaurant in der Nähe. Kein typischer Tourismus. Wunderschöne Landschaft! Wir können dieses Ferienhaus sehr weiterempfehlen!

Actually, the pictures don't do this home justice. It is beautiful inside and out. Extremely comfortable with all amenities. Worth a ten star rating!
