We stayed here with two other families and had the best time! The view is stunning and the location is ideal! The boys were over the moon playing in the sports court and swimming in the pool! The adults loved sipping wine and eating tapas on the balcony! It was perfect! Thank you so much!

From the start communication with Nick - our host - was great and he helped us get settled. The villa itself is in an amazing location with the best views. Lots of space inside and very comfortable. Even with lots of small kids the multiple levels was not an issue. The football pitch was as a bonus and every day we had post dinner pre bed football with the kids! Just down the hill is the local beach with a restaurant. And just round the headland along the promenade are many more places to eat. Nerja beach (20 mins drive) was also a highlight - great beach and far for kids. Overall a great week in a great villa and we are sad to be home!

This was a lovely villa for our large family. The swimming pool was well used and we thoroughly enjoyed our barbecues in the evenings. The owner was very easy to contact and quick to sort out our problem “where was the table tennis net?” Fina Guia cooked us an amazing meal one evening… vegan and gluten-free! It is also a short walk down to the beach. A great place for a holiday.

The property is fantastic family home. It has something for everyone. It is up a hill, but manageable with taxi's or hired cars. Well worth it for the views and all the facilities. Outdoor BBQ area and Gym are additional bonus, great size pool. Sports court and table tennis. What a brilliant week we had!

We were so excited to finally be able to travel to Spain. The property is lovely and just as pictured in the posting. The instructions for the property were very clear and thorough. We had some issues with the A/C unit in one of the rooms and Nick was super responsive in getting folks to come out and address. The house is up on a hill as described with amazing views. There was a great breeze that kept the main level cool during the day. We did walk down to enjoy dining options close by and it was a tough walk back up but totally doable. We took a few day trips and did a boat charter nearby. It was a lovely week and we enjoyed it immensely. The place was comfortable with everything we needed! I would definitely stay again. A perfect place to stay for family and friends. Nick the owner is very flexible and understandIng and extremely helpful to make changes about the bookings during this pandemic. We highly recommend both the house and the owner. We will come back👍

Sadly those of us that could make the holiday had to cut the holiday short, to accomadate the two week isolation period. However the property did not disappoint, when it came to the views. Breathtaking.However, the very, very steep hill would have been a problem if my youngest grandson had been able to come, a pushchair would have been a nightmare! Sadly steps down from the villa to the beach was not accessible, due to the gate at the bottom being locked, which if we had known, we would have not booked this particular villa. The welcome pack of bread, wine etc. was a nice touch. Overall the Villa, whilst run down and a bit shabby in places, gas BBQ not working etc. was lovely. The owner during the holiday did say that work scheduled I.e. new kitchen had not been carried out prior to our holiday because of covid, for which he kindly offered a 30% discount on any further bookings for the villa in the future. Unfortunately there was no discount offered on this original booking. This was a celebratory family holiday booked a year in advance, and if we are able to go away again as a whole family in the future, it would have to be somewhere with fewer steps and less of a major workout getting to and from restaurants and shops, difficult for older people and young children. Also it was a good job we hired a car, as it would have been a nightmare getting food and water, given the distance to the nearest large supermarket and that nightmare hill to carry it up on a very hot day! I never thought I would be writing this next comment, as I love the freedom to research mix and match my holidays. However, I think it will be safer in the future to go back to the old fashioned way of booking a holiday, going into an actual holiday shop and booking a complete package.This is the only way I think you can be assured of receiving refunds on holidays in these unprecedented times.

Very easy and relaxing week. Kids loved the pool and the basketball court. Amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea. Big bedrooms, perfect set up for a family trip to Southern Spain. Highly recommended

We were very pleased with the villa and the view. The facilities were very good, pool and the sports area were great. There were one or two small problems on arrival that were quickly sorted out by maintenance. I think it only fair to point out that the villa was at the top of a steep hill although taxis were available. I would also point out that for people arriving on a Saturday most food shops are closed on a Sunday but overall we had a lovely time and would recommend the villa to friends.

We had a fantastic time in Casa Felicidad, it was ideal for a large family holiday. Brilliant views, great weather lovely restaurants and tapas bars to visit.

Celebrated my 60th birthday here with my family. All ages loved the facilities , accommodation and surrounding area. Brilliant for all ages. The little ones especially loved the basket ball court, and I managed to score a few baskets too. We would highly recommend it.

We loved this villa as it had great views and was just a short walk to the beach. The weather was fantastic considering it was November. Less than 5 minute walk to get on to the promenade with lots of bars and restaurants. Scenery is breathtaking and we even saw dolphins in the bay! The owner was really helpful before and during our stay and we were delighted with the service. We have already recommended the property to friends celebrating a 60th birthday. 10/10

We had a lovely holiday at Casa Felicidad . The views are amazing and the service was fantastic. Lots of helpful advice. The villa was lovely and clean and ready for us on arrival. The weather was great and the beach is just a 5 minute walk away with a lovely bar and restaurant on the beach. We walked from there for 20 minutes to get into the old town of Almunecar with lots of restaurants and bars on the beach. The area is very well priced compared to Malaga and very authentic and Spanish. Lots of space for everyone in the villa with lots of games to play and it even has its own playcourt. Loved it and we are booking for an anniversary next year.

We stayed at the villa for two weeks. Everything went as planned and the villa was exactly as described, or actually even better. It had everything we needed, the pretty city of Almuñécar was closeby and we made several daytrips to interesting places by car as well. It suited very well for our sporty purposes since we organized homeschooling with training activities for young athletes from Finland. We can absolutely recommend the villa for anyone who wishes to get a stressfree, easy and comfortable stay in Almuñécar.

Was a perfect setting to enjoy a holiday with our friends and family. Dining and partying alfresco. It's living the dream staying in a place like this. Lot's of great memories created. Thanks ; highly recommended place to stay if you like your privacy away from too many tourists

Family of 14 (10 adults with 4 children from 2 to 5 yrs old). Ideally sized villa that has all you need with the pool, BBQ (had a bbq two nights during the stay), all weather pitch and cotobro beach down the hill. With the detailed info provided by Nick, good weather every day and the stunning views at sunset, this villa was perfect for our family holiday. We got plenty of exercise in too with the hill walks everyday. Would recommend renting a small car for getting to and from the shops and main almunecar town if you don't like walking. However, I personally loved the walks each day. Photos of the villa do not do the beautiful setting around cotobro beach justice. Would highly recommend the restaurant at Cotobro beach for lunch or dinner.

What a great villa. You walk in and the view is breathtaking. You are so close to the beach you can hear the waves! We were there with two other families and their kids loved the house. The adults did too.The pool is big and the net covered astro turf play court is fantastic. They played football and basketball everyday and we had our own international cricket tournament! Less than 5 minutes walk to the restaurant on the beach and then you are on the promenade full of restaurants. From there it is just 25 minutes to get into the old town. Almunecar is very Spanish and you get free tapas with all alcoholic drinks...just dont ask for a menu or it all stops! The owner was really helpful and so were the managers. We met up with other friends who paid a little less but were stuck up a mountain and needed a taxi to do anything. They have just booked Casa Felicidad for their fathers 70th birthday next year. The photos do not do this villa justice...it is so much better in real life. The only negative is the walk back up the hill is tough with lots of shopping so get a taxi back when shopping.

The villa has the most magnificent view of the sea ( photos do not do it justice)...it is in a great location, close to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The accomodation is first class, very comfortable with excellent facilities. My kids ( 14 & 12 years) had a fantastic time in the pool and sports court.... the management agent very helpful and easily contactable. Villa is highly recommended

Very spacious, well equiped, something to do on site for everyone no matter what age (our party aged 4 to 70). Located with stunnung views. We ALL had a fantastic time.

Lovely 1-week stay for celebration of 70--yr-birthday - 3 generations together in the house. House was perfect for us, Kids loved the pool and playground, Surroundings perfect for shorter or longer trips away during daytime. Facilities in good condition. Recommend to all!

We had a fantastic holiday there last November. We were a party of 14 people of mixed ages. The teenagers in the group didn't want to move from the house during the day. There were jumping in and out of the heated pool, playing volleyball, and working out in the gym ! The views from the house were spectacular, some of the sunsets we saw were just amazing. Evening time it was just a small walk to restaurants bars and all types of entertainment. Really looking forward to going back this year. Thank you Nick for all the information you sent us prior to our visit plus the welcom pack which was indeed very welcome as we did not arrive until after 11pm

We had 14 family members come in from all around the world to meet up at this wonderful location. 9 adults and 5 kids, and the place was perfect for all. Plenty of space to eat together, relax together, and hang out. Plus plenty of spaces to escape each other! The pool is great - the kids loved it, and the adults loved the beautiful views of the Med Sea. Location - this is a small village that's part of a larger town. You can walk (down and then back up) a steep hill (or stairs) to get down to the beach, to ice cream, to restaurants, and a small supermarket. You can drive to the center of town for the daily food market, general retail shopping, the Sunday flea market, and the Friday sales market. There's also the ruins of a castle/palace for a quick trip located right in Almunecar. And there is a botanical garden and archaeological museum. Another 20 mins away (on way to Malaga), there are the caves of Nerja - these are amazing, and nice and cool if you want to escape the heat at any point. About 1 hour away is Granada for a trip to the famous Alhambra and palace (MUST buy tickets in advacnce). Food - there's the Almunecar Mercado Municipal (Open M-S 9a-2p I believe) for fresh veggies, fruit, meats and fish. We shopped here nearly daily, although there's plenty of refrigerator space if you wanted to stock up. We enjoyed the experience of shopping (there's also dried fruit, breads, treats, and other items at the market). There are also a number of supermarkets open daily (remember siesta (closed shops!) is also daily - usually 2-5 or so). Definitely recommend going to Tito Yayo Tuesday night for their paella and Flamenco dancers. Amazing. The Property - includes pretty much everything. There was a towel for each person, hand towels in each bathroom, and hand soap. There's air conditioning in most if not all rooms, but with the windows and doors open, the breezes keep the place cool enough most nights (at least during our stay in early July). Beach towels are also included, as well as some outdoor toys (soccer balls, pool toys). We did end up buying a few more floating toys the kids loved the pool so much! There is plenty of seating around the pool, in the living room, and at the two large dining areas (one indoors, one outdoors). We had 16 people eating at a few dinners. The views are amazing and out many windows. Multiple balconies overlook the pool and view of the Sea. Bring: Shampoo, Body soap & bathing suit! We enjoyed it very much!
