Absolutely beautiful villa. The hosts were superb greeting us on arrival. Easy to get to from Faro airport. Excellent amenities. Great location, handy to the Mars shopping centre, Almancil, Vale do Lobo and Quinta da Lago. Car definitely needed. We will definitely be back!

The owners offered to meet us at the airport because the flight landed late and guide us to the property...it was a really lovely gesture and a good way to set the tone for the holiday. When we arrived the owners had left us fresh oranges and lemons, and had bought us some essentials like butter, bread, cheese, and milk - again, a lovely touch. The villa itself is really beautiful. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences including a coffee machine and, again, the owners had left us some pods to go in it so we didn't have to head out and find our which pods go in it and buy them ourselves. They even gave us a pair of armbands for our two year old daughter for the pool - which was really nice. The pool is fantastic, the renovation of the house has been done to a brilliant standard and the area is quite quiet. As other people have said there's a large shopping centre nearby and a motorway-type road but we barely noticed any noise and the shopping centre was a great place to go in the evenings. Lots of food outlets, a cinema, they even have little electric cars that your kids can drive around in (or you can control, yourself, if they're too young) whilst you shop. We'd never been to Portugal before but we loved it. We loved the fact that every beach we went to had a Beach bar attached if you wanted to eat something after spending the day there. The villa is centrally situated so you can reach all the parts of the Algarve with ease if you have a car. The villa has parking for a couple of cars at least and there's an electric security gate to keep them in. There's even a canopy to keep the car out of the sun so it's not too hot when you get in - so much thought has gone into the villa. All in all we loved it and would happily book again. We were just a family of three but the villa is so big you could have a few families staying to fill up the space a bit more. :)

Foi uma semana muito bem passada na propriedade da Zélia e esposo. Tudo estava impecável, bastantes utensílios na cozinha e tudo o resto estava perfeito.

We had a lovely time staying here. Everything was made simple by the owners from booking to advice during our stay. The house was spacious and immaculate. It had everything we needed and more. It made a great base to visit the sights and we were able to enjoy trips to Quartiera, Loule, Albufeira, Vilamoura and Lagos to soak up the culture and enjoy some fantastic food. My favourite meal was in the Mayflower at vilamoura. All in all we had a lovely week, lots of laughs and lots of much needed rest and relaxation. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely villa with all facilities anyone could want. Very private but secure. Will book again

The Villa is beautiful inside and out. If anything the pictures don't do it justice. Inside it is spacious and a nice mix of modern with some vintage pictures and traditional furniture. But the real attraction is the garden area. As you leave the kitchen there is a large table, Built in BBQ, and table football all sheltered under a lean-to. There is a section of grass which was great for my daughter running around. The pool is a good size to allow a little swimming. The whole garden is very sheltered, private, and was all child friendly. There is a garage which has an extra fridge freezer, bikes, pool toys, and a selection of children's toys. The Villa is about 20 minutes from Faro and is centrally positioned for exploring the Algarve. It is near a dual carriage way and close to a large shopping complex, but because of the walls that surround the villa you don't hear or see them from inside the villa. When you are in the garden you can hear the road in the distance, but it is a background noise that you don't notice. I only mention this because it was something that had concerned me before I travelled, but it really isn't an issue when you are there. Outside the villa is a small private road which leads to the aforementioned dual carriageway. You can walk or cycle to the town Amancil which is about a mile away, but you would need a car to get anywhere else. Overall the Villa was outstanding and very well stocked with cleaning products, toilet paper, condiments, etc. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. This is one of the best villas I have ever stayed in, I couldn't fault it.

Desde a limpeza, ás condições da moradia ao sossego, muito bom. Excelente para quem têm crianças!

No geral a estadia correu bem, excepto o incumprimento por parte do proprietário do horário de check-out. Por volta das 7h30 da manhã do último dia da nossa estadia duas pessoas começaram as limpezas no exterior da propriedade tendo em conta que a hora de check-out estava definida para as 10h. Os dois pontos negativos da propriedade são o ruido que se faz ouvir da autoestrada e o ar condicionado que não existe nos 2 quartos de casal do rés-do-chão.

A casa é óptima, espaçosa para quem quer levar crianças. É óptimo poder usufruir do espaço exterior com privacidade. A localização também é óptima pois está situado muito próximo do Mar Shopping. Os anfitriões são muito simpáticos. Recomendo!

Wir würden total nett persönlich empfangen. Es gab frisches Obst und eine Flasche Wein. Das Haus war super sauber und es war alles da, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Der Pool war sauber und unsere Kinder hatten viel Freude daran. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und konnten mit einem Mietwagen alles rundherum gut erreichen. Etwas störend ist leider die sehr nahe liegende Autobahn. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Jolie maison très agréable. José et son épouse sont charmants. Zélia est venue nous chercher à l'aéroport pour nous conduire jusqu'au gîte où nous avons découvert un endroit propre et confortable. Tout est réuni pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. Nous avons également eu de délicates attentions de la part de nos hôtes. Que du bonheur.

Demasiado cerca de autopista, con el ruido que ello conlleva en el exterior de la villa. En el interior de la villa para dormir no se aprecia el ruido.

We verbleven hier een week met drie puberzonen. Het onthaal was prima, met verse appelsienen en een flesje wijn. Later kregen we ook nog druiven en aardbeien uit de tuin. Het huis is groot, modern en prima in orde. Ook buiten heb je veel ruimte om (zelfs in de schaduw) te zitten. Het zwembad was zalig en goed onderhouden. Enige minpunt is de autosnelweg die naast de tuin raast. Aan de andere kant ben je dan ook snel overal! De ligging is heel centraal, zodat je de hele Algarve kan bezoeken.

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen in der Finka verbracht. Das Haus und das Grundstück sind toll und die Vermieter sind sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Für uns war leider die Lage nicht ganz optimal, da uns nicht bewusst war, dass das Haus direkt an der Autobahn liegt. Bis auf zwei Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern lässt das Haus für uns keine Wünsche offen. Die Küche ist super gut ausgestattet und im Schuppen findet sich auch einiges was man im Urlaub für den Strand benötigt. Man erreicht innerhalb von 30 Minuten schöne Strände.

Jose and Zelia present an immaculate holiday home coupled with a warm and friendly welcome that starts with a lovely bottle of wine and freshly picked oranges. The villa has a charming feel about it and contains literally everything you could possibly need for your comfort. I can strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice quiet base to explore the Algarve surroundings and like us enjoy a wonderful holiday. Thank you again Jose and Zelia.

This house was so wonderful, we would have loved to stay longer. José and Zelia were so helpful and kind! They brought us fresh strawberries from their garden and stocked the house well with everything you need to stay. We really enjoyed the pool, cooking on the bbq in the backyard and the bottles of wine left for us to drink. They even stocked ice cream for our kids. The house is close to the freeway but you don’t notice it at all with the windows closed. And it’s excellently located to go to shopping and attractions. Loved our visit.

This property is fantastic for a small family. We travelled with our toddler and my parents stayed with us for a short time, with plenty of space for all. The property is extremely well kept and finished, with an excellent outdoor bbq area. The pool is a real sun trap and the property is very private. The beach and amenities are only a short drive, as is Vale do Lobo. Zélia and José are fantastic hosts and met us at the airport to direct us to the property. Zélia called midweek to check everything was OK and came with a freshly picked punnet of strawberries, which was a really lovely touch. Would highly recommend this property - we’ll definitely be back!

Large, comfortable and very well equipped house with friendly and helpful owners.

We had a fantastic time. Zelia was great and assisted us with any queries. The road traffic noise was a bit loud, but with the excellent double glazing it was no bother especially after the first couple of day.

Großartiges Haus, tolles Grunstück, top gepflegt! Sehr nette Vermieter, wir wurden vom Flughafen abgeholt und zum Haus eskortiert. In der Küche erwartete uns Brot, Butter, Milch, Rotwein, Käse und Cornflakes. Nach einer Woche kamen die Vermieter zum wechseln der Bettwäsche und Handtücher und haben auch nebenbei das ganze Haus geputzt. Als wir wieder kamen, stand sogar noch eine Schale mit Erdbeeren auf dem Tisch. Der Pool wurde während unserer 14 Tage circa 3-4 mal gereinigt, völlig störungsfrei, kein bisschen aufdringlich! Die Lage ist sehr gut, um die Algarve zu erkunden. Zum nächsten Shopping Center sind es keine 5 Minuten, wobei Shopping Center eine Untertreibung ist. Erwähnenswert ist noch, dass die Autobahn relativ nah hinter dem Grundstück liegt, was aber gerade abends nicht besonders stört beziehungsweise man hat sich sehr schnell daran gewöhnt. In der Nähe ist unter anderem eine Kartbahn, im erwähnten Shopping Center ein Supermarkt mit sehr guter Auswahl, diverse Butiken und Möglichkeiten etwas zu essen. Noch einmal zurück zum Haus: Eine wirklich sehr gute Ausstattung, alle Geräte funktionierten einwandfrei, Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden, Gasherd, Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank. Auf der Terrasse ist ein Grill zu finden und als besonderes Highlight gibt es sogar einen Tischkicker. Wir haben uns sehr wohl in dem Haus gefühlt und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen!

A very pleasant week with lovely spring sunshine. An ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside with its many and varied walking trails.

However the location of this lovely property was not ideal for us. The main highway to Faro runs beside the fields, so heavy traffic whizzed by 24 hours. Also 2 years ago a giant MAR shopping centre and Ikea were built directly across the highway from the property. Such a shame to ruin such a lovely area. We had thought that we would be in the country up by Loule, but now know Loule is a large district, not just the city. The owners were wonderful and helped us out with many queries.

Zelia and Jose went out of their way and met us at the airport. Close to a shopping centre and the main A22 which is very handy. The villa is sparkling clean and has everything that you would need.
