Wonderful location near a range of great beaches but away from the busy streets in high season nestled amongst tropical trees and resident turtles in the lake. Mike and Mary are such gracious hosts, as are their gorgeous pups. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

Would definitely recommend staying here for those who want a carefree getaway to relax and chill and bring your dog along. Mike & Mary were great hosts, full of knowledge about the area and gave us some great tips.

We stayed in the glamping tent, it rained on our last night so there wasn’t much sleep. I would stay in one of the lodges next time.

Needs a little TLC to the property

The owner was lovely. Gave us a great welcome. Loved being right on the lake seeing turtles and hearing the different animals through the night. Breakfast foods provided which was nice. Bed was comfortable enough. Heaters provided did a great job.

The BBQ was filthy and there was black hair in the shower and we are both blonde! Slight mouldy smell. Car parking is tiny and hard to turn around in.

The view was spectacular and the accommodation was extremely spacious.

The room was a little musty, but I guess after all the rain there was still a lot of moisture in the air.

They went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after. Also, they catered to our dietary needs and provided many options for breakfast.

A little difficult with the space between the bed and the power point making it difficult to plug in phone chargers.

Stunning and serene location

We liked how knowledgeable and friendly the owner of the property was and the breakfast was plentiful and we slept in the tent and the bathroom had a rain shower 🚿 which was amazing.

We felt the whole property needed a clean up and some TLC and we didn't want to swim in the pool because it wasn't clean and surrounding the pool there was junk everywhere even on the table settings. There was also an old fountain feature with no water so a big hole in the ground. We felt the pool area was an unsafe environment.

Mike and Mary were very welcoming and helpful hosts. Both are very knowledgeable about the local area. Our dog was made most welcome.

TV reception is a bit hit and miss.
