The house has a great location for walking into Monschau (about 10 minutes) or taking an easy hike along the river that runs by the house, You can walk up one side and then walk back down the other. There are other hikes you an do from the house too, to neighbouring villages - the tourist office has details and leaflets. We stayed as two couples, so we have plenty of space. The house was well equipped, with lots of seating areas, and chairs for outside. Parking is easy, with a large driveway. Any questions were answered quickly and in summary we thought is was a great value property.

As others have mentioned the main bedroom has only light curtains, so the early morning light may wake you up! All of the bedrooms are upstairs, 1 next to the bathroom on the 1st floor, the other two are on the second floor. The second bathroom is downstairs, so its a bit of a walk.

The location was great, right next to a small river, in the nature. The house was well equipped with kitchen appliances and toys/books for kids. House was clean and comfy.

the second floor makes a lot of noise when walking on it, it woke up the baby few times. Also there are no shades in the bedroom, it was hard to get the baby to sleep with so much light coming in.

Location, big and comfortable house, parking, safe area, complete kitchen appliances (for cooking).

Bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The shower (top floor) could not be used completely - the rain shower mode didn't work. No Smart-Tv functionalities on the TV's, missing Google Cast or something to be able to watch Netflix (for example).

Extremely comfortable and clean house. The beds were wonderful and the open-fire a huge bonus!

I think this is the best apartment we rented in Germany. Kitchen has everything you need. Apartment is spacious and well planed. Nice patio for grill or relax. Nice nature around the house and a nice 8-10min walk to village center. Helpful, swift and kind owner.

The wifi connection was weak on the 3rd floor. Otherwise it worked perfect without any problem. Also our cellular phone had som trouble getting connection sometimes, mountain sides block the signal.
