Allein der Ausblick ist unbezahlbar. Die Wohnung ist modern, gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich. Ein Parkplatz ist vorhanden, der See liegt quasi vor der Haustür. Für mich war es einfach PERFEKT! Sehr gerne wieder. Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen.

Es gab nichts zu, aber auch gar nichts zu bemängeln.

My first instinct is to tell you this was a perfectly awful, horrible place to stay - so you will all stay away so we can keep it for ourselves. But in truth, it was perfectly lovely, with a stunning view of the lake and the mountains beyond. The apartment had everything we could have wanted (except a microwave, which we didn't need, but did note), and was comfortable beyond our expectations. We walked to the grocery store, we walked along the beautiful shore into Friedrichshafen, we loved getting juice and Calvados from the fruit farm across the street, and we loved staying here.

The only flaw we noted, and it was probably our fault, was that there was water on the bathroom floor after we showered - no matter how we positioned the doors, we couldn't keep the water from leaking onto the floor.

The location is very quiet - no road traffic noise; you can hear the train and see it passing in the distance from the kitchen window bur outside bedroom shutters mean you don't hear it at night. The double bed is very comfy with a mattress topper and the outside electric shutters mean it's completely dark. The split level, open plan living dining room is spacious and bright and you can see the lake and the mountains from here, depending on weather conditions. It's a short walk down to the lake where there's a small public beach area to sit and enjoy the view. I loved the walk into Friedrichshaven, admiring the ever changing colours of the lake, depending on the weather conditions and watching all the wild birds on the lake.

The shower's water pressure could be better... Also, if the shower head could direct the water into the centre of the shower tray instead of the far right corner, things would be even better. I would install a blind for the kitchen window for night time and also install a blind for the bathroom for added privacy at night time. I didn't like the 3 steep tiled steps down into the living area; they are slippy and I would put in a handrail for safety. The view to the lake is disappointing as you have to look over the roof of the house in front of the apartment and I imagine that when using the loungers on the terrace, you probably can't see the lake at all. I didn't like the walk to the local REWE supermarket along a horribly busy road - I've never seen so many HGV's on such a short stretch of road!

Apartment fabulous - plenty of space - plenty of equipment if you wanted to cook. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. TV and hi if. Wonderful view.

Position of apartment in that you couldn't stroll by lakeside at night without using the car to get=to a suitable place. Not being german booklet of instructions re recycling would have been useful and explanation in english of the fact that you needed a lot of coins for car parking. Suggestions for nice restaurants and places to visit.
