In a very beautiful location, we didn’t want to leave, very helpful key person. Lovely and very special place all round. Immediate access to walking paths - including Alto de Garanjay, 2.5 kms. Also lovely walking path to the shop in Chipude. We will come back here!

In the middle of the mountains, well equipped kitchen, great balcony with stunning view, clean, very very spacious - biggest apartment we had.

Unfortunately we came after the tropical storm with a lot of rain and had to share the apartment with a lot of centipedes, which we regularly had to sweep away :)

Neat well equipped house with everything you needed. Rural setting easy to find in daylight but could be difficult to find in the dark.

The surrounding area is perfect for walkers. Trails are literally on your door step. Really peaceful. Wifi was working well, I work online so that was important too. Place was very clean and our host was really welcoming, informative and helpful.

The cottage was full of charm and spotlessly clean. it was simple and well equipped. it is very close to lots of good walking paths. communication with the host/manager was easy and reassuring.

The elecrical heaters did not work and due to very cold weather the house got very chilled. Without a car you have to rely on the taxi or walk a small path over the hills. It was nice but with very bad weather the walk was tough.

We rented Los Manantiales 3 for three weeks. Overall, we were very positively surprised. The kitchen was well equipped. There were radiators in every room. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fridge, a coffee maker, and a toaster. Food can be cooked either on the stove or in the microwave oven. Towels and sheets were readily available. The toilet was clean and built with good taste. The home care room connected to the toilet had a washing machine and a domestic water heater. The cottage has internet access and a Wi-Fi. We visited here around mid-December, so the air was cool. We got the bedroom warm enough when we used the radiator for about 1.5 hours each night. We didn't feel it necessary to heat the living room, even if that was possible. We were lucky, as the weather favored us most of our holiday. The place is peaceful, and the hiking trails leave a couple of steps from the door. The place is popular with hikers and cyclists. During Covid-19, cleanliness is important. Sandra, who oversaw cleaning the cottages and handing over the keys, had done a good job of cleaning and disinfecting the places. All in all, we felt good about our stay. We want to come back here again. We would certainly recommend this destination to our friends.

As is the local way, it is a bit dark in the cottage, as there are very few windows and lighting. However, the toilet was well lit. The connection from the cottage to the internet has been implemented wirelessly, so the quality of the connection varied somewhat. For the majority, however, it is good enough, especially considering the remoteness of the place.

Nice appartment with great view on the surroundings. Clean and with all the facilities you need. Chipude and El Cherado on walking distantie.

WiFi does not always work.

Location is amazing and calm, so great to have breakfast and apéro on the terrace ! It's also a great place to start homes straight away.

Nothing except Google map which made us take non drivable tracks, make sure you add a stop at Temocoda in your itinerary so you can use the appropriate way.

We just loved our stay at this house, a hidden gem! We could have stayed so much longer! The house has everything you need, but the location and the terrace are the highlights. We stayed three nights and enjoyed beautiful sunsets every evening. The house gives you the feeling to be far away from civilization and still it is only a couple of minutes driving to the town with bar, restaurant and a little supermarket.

A tip for the kitchen: a water kettle would be a nice extra. It was not an issue for us but when booking the house you need to be aware that there are quite a lot of stairs going from the car to the house.

Isolation… definitely rural!
