Clean, well appointed villa in a great location within walking distance of beach, restaurants and shops. Lovely outside area with pool and the bonus of a table football. Best of both worlds with nearby restaurants or a BBQ in the evening, relaxing at the villa. We had a wonderful first trip to Menorca and hope to return soon.

We had a fantastic time in "Casa del Mar". The house was very well equipped, the communication with Margaret & Martin was very friendly, reliable and flexible. October was a perfect month to stay in Menorca with small children.

We had a wonderful week with our 3 teenage boys in this fantastic villa in the 2nd week of July. 1. The villa: great pool (good job Russel!), spacious, light & airy, good aircon, broadband & TV, plenty furniture, within easy walking distance of town centre (good supermarkets & restaurants) & stunning beaches 2. The area: OH MY WORD - gorgeous sandy beach about 5-10 minutes walk from the villa - HEAVEN! - the shades of blue in the sea - wow! The snorkelling, the sunsets, the countless coves, the excellent roads - just the best! 3. The hosts: very friendly and helpful and couldn't ask for better - thanks very much Margaret & Martin 4. The tip: if you can, a snorkel in Cala Rafalet - a short drive up the coast, followed by a bit of a hike down (some caution required) to the water - lovely stuff! 5. The mistake: we took a day trip to the far west side of the island, the Cuitadella - great place to visit, but we made the mistake of trying to grab a bite to eat at the restaurant Corb Mari in the port - yikes, the waiter was ... hmmm, how to put this? ... not fully committed to his work and very good at showing it. In my opinion - AVOID! Anyway, it's a good 1.5hrs drive from the paradise of Binibequer Vell, so onward! 6. The conclusion: A stunning villa in a stunning part of the world - we hope to return many, many times!

We had an excellent stay at this property. It was clean and as pictured when we arrived. The outside space and the pool was amazing! The property is on a quieter street and walkable to both Cala Torret and Binibeca Vell. We didn't have any issues during our stay but communication pre-arrival was also excellent.

Just returned from a weeks holiday . The villa really is lovely very clean and very well maintained. Everything we needed was available. 6 of us went for half term break, unfortunately many of the restaurants and shops nearby had closed for the winter. We were forewarned this may be the case by the owners of the villa. We decided to hire cars so that we could go to neighbouring areas. Managed to find a brilliant car hire firm online in Mahon called Sol cars. We emailed them on the Sunday and got an immediate reply saying they would deliver 2 cars the following morning to our villa. No credit cards required and the price was exceptionally good. No hidden extras which we have encountered many times. Supermarket Eroskis is a 10 minute drive and has everything required at reasonable prices. The beach at Binebecca is lovely especially for children. Sea very shallow for quite a way out. The villa is in a quiet area and is very private. Pool is really nice and the football table on the balcony got a lot of use with the males in the group. Weather was very good for October. The owners were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend the villa to anyone .

Beautiful villa clean and lots of mod cons to make stay very comfortable, very quiet location and extremely clean surroundings, locals friendly and some amazing restaurant one that stood out had a pool (name escapes me!) the steaks were amazing English lady owner, and her waiters were lovely as well. Beautiful beach, great little train service Ting Ting ran every hour beautiful scenery and great breeze. Also Russell the pool man was lovely and had some great information about the island. Overall 5*rating just wished we had longer stay 🌴☀️❤️

Spotlessly clean villa in a lovely area. Easy walk to beach and a few restaurants and bars. Lovely size pool which we all enjoyed. It was good having 2 bathrooms which meant less queuing for the shower. We hired a car and also enjoyed exploring the island and the stunning virgin beaches. Would love to return again.

We had a lovely stay and the villa was excellent. Lots of local attractions and a really lovely area.

Arrived by taxi the Villa was just as advertised. The set up worked great for our family group. Beautiful, relaxing place for a holiday. Overall very impressed.

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa del Mar, our kids loved the salt water pool (and spent many hours a day in the pool due to the sweltering heat), and the location is ideal - a nice quiet street close to all the amenities of Binibeca and, of course, the beach

We have been to Casa del Mar several times because we enjoy the whole experience. The villa is a perfect holiday base for the surrounding restaurants, beach, shops, bars etc. The house itself is clean, well furnished and equipped, with a beautiful pool and surrounding area. The gardens are maturing and colourful. The owners, Margaret and Martin are very helpful and communication between themselves and guests is an easy process. All in all, it is the ideal spot for a relaxing holiday on the beautiful island of Menorca. Sue Jones June 2019

Just returned from our trip to Binibeca in Margaret and Martins villa. Beautiful villa with everything a family would need to feel comfortable. Communications at all points from booking to arriving home were responded to quickly and the information given was very accurate and helpful. It felt that nothing was too much trouble (and I ask a lot of questions!) Villa very well situated if you want to relax and have some peace but with everything you might want close to hand. Ideal for the little train stops too! Lovely, big pool and well maintained. It was much more than ‘just a base’ for a holiday. We Would love to return in the future. This is our first visit to Casa del Mar and certainly won't be our last. The location is perfect - set in a quiet cul de sac but near enough to walk to the excellent restaurants and beach which are only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the Villa. The villa itself is immaculate and has a lovely homely feel with some nice personal touches added. The rooms are big and were more than ample for the four of us (especially 2 lads wanting their own space and a healthy wifi signal !!). The pool was a good size and the outside areas were well kept by the friendly gardeners and pool guy (nice chap is Russell). The gas BBQ was perfect and was used during our stay, Margaret was really helpful and ensured smooth communication throughout. The unexpected welcome pack of essentials we needed (beer, wine, water etc) was perfect when we arrived. The outside sitting area's areas are brilliant for dining in and the upstairs terrace lovely for sitting with a beer and watching to sunset as well has carrying out our daily bar football tournaments with the lads. We spent more time at the villa than we would normally do on holiday due it being so nice. We cannot fault anything about Casa del Mar and indeed Binibeca and will almost certainly be back. BIG thumbs up from us and a hello to the huge inflatable crocodile.

Beautiful swimming pool and surroundings. Villa has a lovely homely feel to it, well equipped and was very welcoming. Set in a peaceful residential street with easy access to all the amenities. Will definitely look to be returning next year

We found the owners helpful and easy to deal with and that ensured a smooth arrival . Directions were emailed well in advance and were perfectly clear.The deposit was also returned straight away. When we read that there was a bar 50 metres away we thought it might be a bit noisy, but this is not the case. It serves a few apartments opposite and was rather sleepy. This has the feel of a loved family home in a residential area. As soon as we arrived it was more or less straight in the decent sized pool for a cool down . There is a deep end if you have kids, although ours are older and made full use of the inflatable crocodile anyway. There are plenty of sun loungers and the garden has some beautiful flowers. It is a peaceful setting for all the convenience of the nearby beach and shops. Mahon is worth a day trip from the local bus stop and we found that a car was not necessary. We ate at a different restaurant every night except for when we made use of the gas powered barbecue - no sooty fingers required. The location was perfect for us. The villa itself has a wonderful master bedroom leading onto a rooftop sunbathing spot if you want to roast yourself without getting splashed or just sit and read. The air conditioning is very efficient and made for a comfortable nights sleep. It was a pleasure to turn on the TV and find it tuned in without wasting time looking for instruction books and missing any world cup. We enjoyed our stay here very much and could not have wished for a better place to explore from. A lovely villa. Ian and Jo

We had brilliant week with everything you could possibly want or need at your fingertips. The gorgeous beach is only five minutes walk away, which boasts its very own superb open air bar, as are shops to buy groceries, supplies etc. However should you not want to cook or prepare your own meals, there are excellent restaurants in abundance close by which serve every kind of meal you can think of, from normal breakfast to full three or four course dinner. The Villa itself is lovely, is clean and comfortable and has a beautiful garden and a superb swimming pool. Casa Del Mar in Binibequer Vell is a super place to stay and is surprisingly quiet and peaceful given all that is so close by. Thank you Margaret and Martin we had a lovely,lovely week. We were 2 adults and 2 kids staying for 1 week in mid July. The welcome pack was very very welcome! Most generous and thoughtful one we have come across. Very pleasantly surprised at the comfortable temperature of the pool and the salt water was lovely. We got a lot of use out of it even after spending the day at a beach! And the football table was great too! The air conditioning was needed. We had a good stay... We went to a few different beaches and went to a guitar concert in Mao and enjoyed restaurants outside Binibequer (Loved Salitre in Cala Torret for its particularly interesting menu and genuinely friendly staff). Our flights home were in the early evening so we used the Splash waterpark for our last day... left our bags in the car and used the nice clean showers there before going to the airport! We have never stayed in the same place twice but would definitely consider Casa del Mar again!

The property is very well maintained clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely to relax & cool down in on a hot day. Close to supermarkets & bus stops

The photos don’t quite do the villa justice, it’s a lovely villa, with everything you could want/need, and spotlessly clean on arrival. Perfect for us a a couple with 3 young children, and well positioned between the beach and the restaurants of binibeca. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. This includes being understanding about a couple of breakages. They always responded quickly and seemed keen to ensure that we enjoyed your holiday. So, a great villa in a lovely part of menorca and very helpful and relaxed owners. Thanks for a great holiday.

We had a lovely stay at this well equipped and spacious villa - everything we needed was there and it is spotless and in a great location . Short walk To beach and lovely restaurants . Took a trip to Mahon on market day which was beautiful. Would highly recommend this Villa- owners clearly care about peoples experiences and want their visitors to have a great holiday. Great location. Very private villa. Pool and grounds really well maintained. Communication with owners very easy and friendly. Inside clean and instructions for house very clear and well organised. As a very minor point some items are looking a little tired (plastic glasses and some knives could probably be renewed) , however the care and thought from the owners to welcome guests is excellent. Overall a great holiday. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Mar. We were greeted by a lovely welcome pack and felt at home as soon as we had unpacked! The villa was well equipped and comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the swimming pool which was perfect when you needed to cool off! We also made good use of the BBQ and enjoyed eating out by the pool. It was an easy walk to the shops and there were plenty of great restaurants to choose from. The beach in Binibeca is lovely with a beach bar, water sports and a lovely sandy beach. The resort is very pretty and we found it peaceful at night which just what we needed. We hired a car and found plenty of other superb beaches and enjoyed the market and sights of Mahon. Thank you Martin and Margret for giving us a such a lovely place to stay. We didn't want to leave and will hopefully come back again soon.

We had an amazing weeks stay as a family of 4 (kids 6 & 8) in this beautiful clean villa. The highlight for the kids had to be the pool which they were constantly in when we were at the villa which has the added benefit of not being overlooked. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and gratefully received on day one. The villa is perfectly situated within walking distance of the shops, beach and supermarket. Thank you Margaret and Martin for the opportunity to stay here at Casa Del Mar, we did not want to leave and will certainly be back.
