1. Spacious garden and well maintained grounds.
2. Room size is excellent. Balcony is spacious and private.
4. Staff and service is good
1. Property is built in grand style but maintenance is poor. As a result, the property looks tired.
2. Amenities are poor. Rooms do not have intercom connection to reception.
3. Room furniture is run down and so are the fixtures. Bathroom did not have a latch, neither any hooks to hang clothes

It felt like I was in an ancient palace, everything was superb, highly recommended.

Clean room, comfortable. Being shown around the plants and garden by older, knowledgable member of staff.
No ambience. Staff whispering to each other while serving food.

Booked for the second time in a very short stay, it was a cool setup with lots of trees and farming habitats all around.
Birds, lizards, monkeys, cats, and dogs – if you don't like them, you may want to avoid this place.

Spacious room, and ok buffet on the second dinner (first night there were only 5 rooms taken, so they served from a menu).
It's not really a resort - poor management, untrained staff and poorly maintained.
The only one who knew English was their "booking guy" who called me back to say that - sure, we'll swap breakfast for 5 with dinner for two. The staff on ground knew little to no English. Example? When checking in, we explained patiently that we're vegan/vegetarian. In the breakfast, they brought us plates with eggs, sausages and pancakes. Explained again; they took the plates and returned them with sausages removed; explained again; returned with just pancakes; my wife, a drama teacher explained with mime. Then they brought plates with some vegetables; worst breakfast in SL, where most of the local food is vegan.
I think they don't know what tourists expect (again, untrained staff). When someone in an nearby table was afraid of a little cat, the waiter kicked it. We fed the cat away from her table, to keep it afar. When my daughter rushed in screaming to the room after she passed by a long and thin snake on the staircase handrail, I called a waiter I saw passing by; he didn't know a word in English, so he called the receptionist; I had to mime a snake. I asked them to come see if it's venomous or harmless, but they simply rushed with big stick and whacked the snake dead. I later checked - it was a bronzeback tree snake. The poor unlucky snake was probably after one on the many pigeons nesting atop the decorative columns.
Note that there's no menu, and no one asks you to sign for extras at the end of each meal. You'll find out when checking out that you're charged for the water you drink. This is the only resort I've seen without water bars. So much plastic waste (being burnt, as common in SL, with horrible air pollution).
The bill is done by hand and calculator. You'll have to double and triple check it. We were of course charged for the dinners and had to argue with them to fix the bill.

quiet place with nice surroundings. The food is good, and the rooms are clean, with a staff that is friendly and accommodating.
The room could be a bit tidier, but it is not a major concern for us as we were seeking a setup built with natural beauty.

The property’s buildings are very nice and could make a great hotel, such a pity that nothing else works overthere.
The buildings seem to be abandoned, with lots of broken facilities not to mention the insects everywhere.
The room’s door would not close properly, the shower was broken and dirty (like the entire place). Around the pool there are no pillows and the leave dirty towels that previous guests used for days.
The food was less than average and its cost was really too much (and do not expect to find understanding for vegetarians options not to mention vegan) definitely not Ayurvedic menu they offer, the staff totally not prepared and not understanding English at all.
They call themeselves ayurvedic resort, but actually we didn’t find anything like that.
We had an head massage included and no one showed up when we requested it. Day after the massage’s girl seems to be bored and annoyed. After all of these the tried to make us stay double the price. Thankfully we check ourselves and found the mistakes!

I had to book this hotel on my own as the other one was fully booked. However, as soon as I arrived here and experienced the setup, I was convinced that it was the better choice. So, I encouraged my family who were at the other hotel to cancel their reservation and join me here for an even more enjoyable stay.
Nothing that worth mentioning..

I was impressed by the eco-friendly atmosphere and imaginative architecture that reflected Sri Lankan nature. The villas were generously sized and furnished with contemporary amenities. The staff was friendly, and the food was great.
Lake edges may have better cleaned. The only drawback I noticed was the occasional presence of flying insects in the garden, which may be attributed to the resort's location. Frankly, I was not bothered!!

The hotel has a wonderful ambiance and is clearly committed to embrace the nature. Then again, in these uncertain times, it's important than ever to support businesses, so in summary I was thrilled to have the opportunity to stay at such a special property.
It was absolutely stunning to see the property at night, although I couldn't help but feel that it was a bit too dimly lit. While I would love to see more lights, I do appreciate the natural balance that the current lighting provides too.

If you appreciate beautiful hotel facilities, unique architecture, spacious rooms, peaceful gardens, and wildlife, then this is the perfect place for you to stay in Sigiriya. I was impressed by everything this hotel had to offer during my one-day stay while exploring Sigiriya, Dambulla, and Minneriya. In the evening, I treated myself to a relaxing leg massage at a discounted price. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something truly special about this place that sets it apart from others in the area. It's surprising that more people haven't discovered it yet, but I highly recommend you come and experience it for yourself.
The only minor issue we encountered was with the Wi-Fi connection in my friend's rooms, but it was quickly resolved by the staff. This is not a high-end hotel, but it has a good blend with nature.

Very good location. Good food, very friendly and helpful staff, greenery and calmness all around. The rock behind the property adds colors to our stay
Nothing much! Comparatively, I felt the rate offered is at least 30% below where it should be, compared to other places we stayed during this trip. So, it was a good offer.
It was raining in the evening..

The hotel must be the most beautiful hotel in sigiriya. Very unique architecture..
From the moment we arrived at the hotel we felt at home.. the atmosphere was giving us the feel like we've move into a medieval era..
All in all it was a perfect way to unwind ourselves with having vibe of the nature all around us..
No questions.. the hotel is in the top of my list now..
Nothing much.. but may be a time with less rain would helped us enjoy more

Everything was perfect! The room is nicely furnished and very spacious, everything is spotless clean. The location is at next level, you get the lake, wild animal, rocks, adventure and fruit land this is a perfect get away. Lastly, the ayurvedic message had was probably the best in class. Thank you Kaveri..

I traveled with my friends and had an awesome experience. The location is amazing, it's quiet, calm and has a nice natural touch. The room was spacious enough and clean. Had a nice view of the pool and the surroundings. The dinner included many choices and the food was delicious. The staff was very active and always attentive to our needs. Overall we had a nice experience there and hope to visit again.
Nothing much to complain about, except for some parts of the road to get to the hotel were rough, but it's not an issue in the hotel.

The food is delcious! They have a full range of traditional Sri Lanka dishes, which is what we wanted. And the auyerveda treatments were great. The pool and hotel grounds are beautiful.

The place is very quiet and calming. The room was nice and spacious. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Overall a great place to stay.
Nothing to complain other than the bathroom could be a bit clean and the bathtub could be repaired to make all the knobs work properly. O

One of the great hotels along with a local architecture.
The ambiance was great around the hotel, so was able to relax during the stay.
Food, Staff, Facilities & Pool was great and clean which added more comfort to our travel.

Food was really bad, bathrooms were quite dirty, bad smell from the bathroom which filled the whole room, pool needs maintenance, it was very loud at night (it sounded like somebody is pouring liters of water with a hose on the metal roof - and it was not raining!)

very clean and tidy resort, environmental friendly atmosphere
specifically nothing come to my mind to mention

I was not that easy to be satisfied with anything but to write a review comment after a hotel stay, it has to be something at the next level. The Kaveri hotel was so stunning truly special that I couldn't stop writting a review comment.
We stayed for one night with two friends came all the way from France. Not only was the hotel staff extremly friendly, the room was spacious, sceneries are nothing but splendorous, the view was extraordinary - the service was great. Service was so personal, as an example even when we were leaving the hotel early for a tour, the breakfast buffet was set up just for us!
The location is one of the best in Sigiriya, it was so remote, you hardly hear anything but the sound of birds. The day we stayed peackock were so abandant, and in one evening we even got tired of watching them :-). and the view and the sceneries around the lake was easily the best part of the stay. You can see the mist in the morning spreading all around the lake, a morning walk around the lake is highly recommended. Make it early (like at around 6:00 AM) and you feel like you are swimming through the mist of clouds having lotus spreading its fragrant.
The whole property is adjecent to a forest reserve and a rock surrounded by birds, bees, lizards, mongos, and monkeys! There were also many scenic hiking routes that you could try on too. If you are looking to connect with nature and get true piece of mind, this is one of the best spots at the center of the Cultural triangle.
Finally, don't forget to get a massage from their special avurvedic Spa as well, they do that following traditional technique using old medicines which will give you the real value for your spend.
Finally, this is a place I would not hesitate to go again..
I hardly can think of any..
