the most uncomfortable bed, the mattress was pretty uncomfortable I could feel the wires 😂 every time that the guy sleeping above me moved the bed would move and squeak. The room was so small for the amount of beds they had that there were no space for luggage, I guess depends which room you’re in, mine for the price I paid didn’t not worth it, I was there during full moon so maybe was more expensive.

The private room that we finally ended up at the was good, clean and spacious.

When we arrived to check in we were told that there was no room available. They then offered us accommodation at Le Club which is a few minutes walk away however a shared bathroom. However we were still happy to do this. When we got there we got shown to our room but it was occupied with someone already staying there. We then had to walk back to Leo hostel. Then we had to get on the back of a bike and drive at least 5 minutes down the road to another place to stay (golden moon). very annoying because it was an inconvenience to us as we wanted to go back to the hostel to use their facilities. Although this place had a nice view, the room we were given was dirty and the toilet leaked all over the bathroom which then left a horrible smell. We ended up staying here for 1 night and the next morning when we went back to Leo Hostel to rent a bike we were offered an upgraded room at their location.

I don’t like some guys and mostly their communication! all the time getting some problems! when I went to reception! all the time I feel the they want make money because price was really cheap and when I leaving the hostel I got taxi ticket and I lose the taxi ticket after a few minutes and reception girl remember me! but she said you have to buy again ! before I got 7 days and they had buy 3 night get 5 night campaign! but they didn’t give me my 2 free days İ said okay and I didn’t care! and after than I wanted stay a few days they want to charge more money from me! because after my reservation prices are going up! and I said them if I buy today and after 2 days I can get more 2 days completely it will be 5 days and, you didn’t give me my 2 free days before , every one got 2 free days because you have campaign as well! and I said them can you give me my 2 free days please! they said you have to say when you are check in ! and you can’t buy again because you are reserved also! and I said them I want to cancel my reservation and I want buy again ! and they said okay! you don’t have to cancel reservation you can buy from here cheaper price! all the time they trying make more money from people! and they wrote include breakfast but they haven’t breakfast as well!

They asked me to change my room after one night, the New room was very dirty - sink, materracess. I rent a motorbike - it also was so dirty that i needed to clean seat and Helmet by myself. There are many strange rules and regulations which were concerning. Also, Glass doors in room just for girls is not the Best choice. I dont think I would choose the place next time but it has so much potential

Pool, bar (overpriced) and gym. Is a good place for one night if you want a party.

Check in process was a mess, room wasn’t ready when we arrived. Waited over an hour past check-in to get into the room. The bed bug bites was a nice touch too. Not allowed to eat or drink anything that’s external or you get fined 500bht. Also, not a single place to get drinking water. Then again you could always use the cold shower water if you fancy. If you want to sleep, you won’t. Relentlessly loud music 24/7 is good if you want to party all day/night but not great if you’re hungover and wanting to chill. Just stay somewhere else and visit is my advice.

Mold all over the walls, dirty beds with dirty sheets without covers. I had to sleep in my sleeping bag because it was soo dirty🤢 please do yourself a favour and stay as far as possible from this hostel ✌️

- Beds were the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on, you could feel every spring - Bathrooms were unclean. The one in our building block didn’t even have a sink, soap or hand sanitiser. They also seemed to dislike giving new toilet paper - Walls were paper thin you could hear the music until 1/2am - Most of the staff seemed miserable - Had it booked for 5 months and we ended up in a building over the road from the actual hostel

Stayed here during the full moon party. The place was packed with people. There is a bar, pool, beer pong.

Extremely uncomfortable beds, the mattress was made of worn-out spring and shrunk into the bed upon use. The bathrooms were dirty, it looked extremely unhygienic and unsanitary. I know its a party hostel but some maintenance is needed.

Comfortable clean bed for a hostel, nice party vibe, great pool and sports facilities

The shower flooded the hostel room but staff dealt with this really well. However, they were quite rude when we asked about why our 24hr washing service ended up taking about 36 hours.

First the room was extremly dirty, the ladder of the bed was broken and the bed was uncomfortable. Due to this the showers didn’t really work, so i was not able to was my hair, because there was almost no water coming out of the shower. Then other guests told us that a lot of people steal there, so we all felt very insecure. And last but not least the staff was unkind and not really competent, they didn’t know which beds were ours and didn’t show us around, didn’t even show us the bathroom.

The location was perfect, the staff was very friendly and the hostel was very clean. I loved the facilities , especially the football pitch. I would definitely go here again.

The location is good

The room overall was in a poor state - broken bed, ragged bed sheets. The shower hardly worked. But the main problem was noise. The place hosted everyday parties with extremely loud music, usually till 1 AM, sometimes till 2AM. The noise was so loud that it was impossible not just to sleep but even to stay inside the room. The worst experience with hostels in my life.

Good facilities, location and motorbike rental.

Apperently, Leo hostel and Phangan Arena is the same hostel. We did not know this. The hostel is not very social and it's hard to meet new people. There are some acitivities every night, but this is nothing special and not many people participated. We stayed in a private room, but the staff just unlocked the door while we just came out of the shower (they thought the room was empty), started laughing and ran away. Also, the bed was broken.
