Our stay was really great! The location is right in the medina, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the terrace is beautiful and has a great view over the city! The owner and all of the crew of the riad are really nice and were always willing to help us and make our stay perfect! We could even leave our luggage there after the check out and chill on the terrace! Thanks a lot for everything!

Best thing about riad Selma is the people. Such great hospitality! You feel right at home. On top of that great location, very clean, the breakfast is delicious and hearty. And again, AMAZING staff and so kind. Thank you for all your help, hospitality and kindness. If we're ever in Meknes, I will definitely stay there. We loved it and wholeheartedly recommend.

The riad is in a perfect location in the old town but only 5 min walk from a guarded parking space. It is in a beautiful old house with amazing tiles and decor. We had a spacious room with bathroom, hot water, air condition that worked well, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great! We loved that lemon juice. Mohamed and his team are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The riad has the best terrace you can imagine, you get a view over the whole medina. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed two nights at Riad Selma and had the best time ever! After we were warmly welcomed by Mohammed and his colleagues at the door, we had a coffee on the stunning rooftop and then Mohammed showed us around the medina. The house itself is very beautiful and the rooms were absolutely clean, including AC and even a hot shower. All the staff was so friendly and helpful, we immediately felt very comfortable. They all really cared about our wellbeing and helped us with everything, be it train bookings, pharmacy shopping or general recommendations. They even made us breakfast at 6am before we left and organised a taxi. Meknes has enchanted us and the Riad Selma with its great people has made a big contribution to this. We travel on a little wistfully with great memories and new friendships. Thank you Team Riad Selma!! Absolutely recommended!

The Ryad is really traditional and colourful, with two roof terraces, one above the other, with the view of all Meknes. Breakfast is Moroccan rich breakfast. The manager Moktar very willingly helped me in many things; some of them I could have done by myself but with a considerable loss of time. So my stay at Ryad Selma couldn't have been better.

I very much liked the old school design and the service was great, the room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back another time!

The Riad was ok but a bit hap hazard... it was staffed by young boys who were polite but some weren’t able to speak very good English or French.... this is perfectly acceptable of course since we are in Morocco.... but the standards were different. Often quite a strong smell of dope wafting up from outside!! and at times it felt like we were on the outskirts of a Cheech and Chong movie The heater worked well which was good as it was cold.

There was no problem when we asked for things but we do sort of expect toilet paper and soap!! They didn’t automatically clean our room but did when we asked The shower was ok but only worked hand held which made it cold ... it didn’t drain well and without any form of curtain the floor got quite wet

The receptionist was really kind, we needed to leave super early in the morning and they left us breakfast prepared. He was giving us tips about what to visit and offered us tea when we arrived. The terrace has a great view and there is a small restaurant which is really beautiful and fresh. It is also close to the main square.

The house is a bit old and it needs some maintenance. The room was a little dark and the bathroom didn’t convince us.
