After a long day of travel, the prize is worth it. If you're looking for faults or negatives at Etoile de Mer, I doubt you'll find them. The house is incredible. Tastefully and sensitively designed, well-equipped with thoughtful attention to detail. The main part of the house has 2 bedrooms then 3 subtly separate 'suites'/rooms complete the 'hub'. Every room is en-suite and each faces the stunning views of the pool and beyond. It is expansive enough to find your own privacy.... It is clear how passionate the owners, Vana and Pavlos are about the welfare of their guests. Nothing seems too much trouble and they are very hands-on. The house is high up a hill so a lot of acceleration is required to get your car up! There are tiny geckos running in and out of the garden rocks and the sound of the cicades adds to the joy! The (fishing) village of Batsi is a short drive away as is a supermarket, butcher and baker. There are some waterside restaurants serving delicious food, fresh fish recommended. Vana will tell you everything you need to know. It's a challenge to leave this villa, however we suggest you enjoy its traquility (sometimes there's a strong bereeze) as well as exploring the island. The main town Andros (approx 45 minutes' drive) is charming and we found a fantastic beach at the end of a windy track called Zorkos. The water is warm! And there is a beach cafe plus a taverna. Car essential. A huge thank you for the hospitality shown to us all. A very special place....

This is one of the most beautiful homes I have ever stayed at. The natural beauty of the sweeping ocean view, sunsets, and swimming pool made this such a wonderful trip. The house itself is a beautiful design, and well laid out for a group with 3 separate apartments in addition to the main house. The house really exceeded our expectations all the way around. We love the sounds of cicadas singing and goats in the background. It is an easy drive to both Batsi and Andros (Chora) and surrounded by one beautiful beach after another. Vana and Pavlos were extremely helpful and warm, greeting us at the ferry when we picked up our rental car, and checking in with us several times to help navigate best restaurants and sites. We hope to return to this beautiful spot soon.

Kostas and Vana were impeccable hosts for our two week stay at Etoile De Mer Villa. They took their time showing us all the amenities of the home and made themselves available throughout our stay to answer questions about the house and island. The villa is nicely laid out to provide overall privacy from neighbors, but also each apartment is self-contained. The common areas are beautifully situated to allow for amazing views of the water and sunset. The outdoor grill and dining area made for a very memorable evening with our friends. Everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to pool towels to a stereo from which to play music from our phones, was provided. The washer and dryer was also a much appreciated convenience! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our vacation and would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful family holiday at the Etoile de Mer. It is a beautifully decorated property with a stunning view of the Aegean. It has a substantial pool in which it is possible to take proper exercise. The kitchen and plumbing work faultlessly. The villa has three separate living areas, so very suitable for a multi-family holiday, all of which have sea views and private outside areas. The owners Vana and Paulos live nearby and are very welcoming; they really want their guests to enjoy themselves. They are very helpful without being intrusive. We had a wonderful time and hope to return. It is near the local town of Batsi where there is all one needs: a supermarket, bakery, petrol station and lots of good tavernas. Altogether a delight! We had a wonderfull time in the villa. The view is stunning and The house had everything we could ask for! Vana and Pavlos where very helpful hosts. We where a group of 12 and all of us loved our stay at Andros. I give my best recomendations!

Una casa fantastica. Ogni anno cambiamo isola (e casa). Scegliamo sempre case con piscina molto belle per 8-10 persone. Quest'anno molto probabilmente abbiamo soggiornato nella casa migliore. Piscina e camere molto belle e attrezzate e uno splendido spazio grill con grande tavolo per 12 persone. Tutto fantastico! E molto gentili i padroni di casa Vana e Pavlov.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Andros. Diese Villa ist unvergesslich und die Sicht aufs ägäische Meer einfach traumhaft! Der Makler und auch die Besitzer waren sehr gastfreundlich und hilfbereit.

3 families, 10 people, 5 adults and 5 kinds in a 5* Property !! Etoile de mer is a magical villa. Even the very nice pictures do not represent the beauty of this villa. Incredible view, beautiful rooms and bathrooms,very nice pool and great place for barbecue. Everything is thought for a five star comfort from the pool to the house and service. The owners Vana and Pavlos are very very intentional people . We recommend this property if you want to see..... what the paradise could looks like. Andros is a lovely island with nice beaches. Very cute village ( Batsi ) 10 min from the house . Conclusion ...Splendid holidays and hope to have the opportunity to return soon!! We (my family and other 2 families with kids of 4-6 years) spend 10 fantastic days at Etoile de Mer villa. It was amazing. The House is large and has many beautiful rooms with a great kitchen with outside barbeque. The house has an amazing sea view and is near to beaches where was great to relax in. The pool is large and has a relaxing area to sunbathe with picturesque surroundings in a large garden. Our hosts, Vana and Pavlos made us feel very very welcome in the house and were very helpful in making our holiday great experience through many precious advices where to go and visit (beaches, restaurants, shops). They were the best hosts ever! We would like to go back to Etoile de Mer villa again in the future. We both recommend it very high! Alessandra and Enrico.

The mattresses were extremely comfortable and the sheets and towels were all clean. My family and I ,had the pleasure to be accommodated at Etoile De Mer Villa last July. I really do not know how best to describe our stay: "splendid"? to say the least! Our first reaction when arrived at the villa was just a WOW! But with a better look of the view and the design of the house we were lost for words. Vanna and Pavlos have built a great place not just to spend your holiday but a great place to live and enjoy the summer time....staying at Etoile De Mer villa is peaceful and relaxing! The permisses are build with respect to the local architecture and have all the modern conveniences. A great location also, Andros, whether you want to visit Chora and other villages nearby, or just stay somewhere private without any activity. The view from the villa is just magnificent. Almost from every angle from the house you get the Aegean sea in front of you. There is a beautiful terrace for just sitting there having a glass of wine, an amazing BBQ & dinning area but what we liked most was the big infinity pool; we just coudn't escape from there, we had to spend half of each day every single day of our stay just sitting there tanning or sit inside the pool and enjoy the amazing sea views right from the edge. We are looking forward to visit again Etoile De Mer in 2016. Thank you Vana and Pavlos for the great hospitality!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Etoile De Mer Villa. The magic begins when you arrive with the welcome of the owners and the stunning view. The villa and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The point about the villa is that it's like a being at home. It's got that depth of character and feel which only comes from a property owned by people who use it, love it and take care of it. So staying here feels like being a guest in a friend's home. The light, the air - especially the view! I could go on and on. And I could go back and back. My first thought as I entered the Villa was "Spectacular!" The inviting decor exudes warmth and comfort with majestic views of the sea. Vana and Pavlos were wonderful hosts. The interior decor of the house although beautifully and exquisitely appointed, provided a total feeling of comfort and relaxation. The swimming pool is large and always clean. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and very tidy. The location of the villa is very close to town but far enough away to feel private. It has a beautiful garden and several different areas on the property can be used to just sit and relax alone or with your family and friends. Whether sitting by the pool or watching the sunset, every moment was pure joy. Our whole group of family and friends curled up by the barbeque place in the evening and enjoyed ample amounts of lovely Greek food and wine. We just couldn't have done better in finding a better place for our holiday. A superb experience all round!

The owners of Etoile de Mer Villa have created a place beyond dreams, where time matters no more. During our stay at the Villa, Paul and Vana made sure that we felt at home, and the cleanliness of the premises and all the amenities made the Villa even more welcoming. My husband and myself really enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Aegean while either simply lying on the comfortable king bed or swimming in the infinity pool, or sipping a glass of wine at the terrace or the bbq area. Not only does the location of the Villa offer exquisite view and privacy, but it is also very convenient if you want to visit Batsi, Chora or Korthi and enjoy the walking paths around Andros. It is one of the few places I have ever stayed where each glance you take simulates a picture! We had a great time on Andros and we will most certainly return to Etoile de Mer!!

We visited this property with my wife and 2 boys (6 & 5 years old) for 4 days. It's one of the most suitable places for vacations we have ever seen. Unique privacy, Amazing view, High quality buildings, Exquisite design and clean premises, Unforgettable BBQ corner, Romantic scenery, Very hospitable owners, Nearby beaches and attractions, Greek hospitality. In general, unforgettable Greek relaxation. Everything described and beyond! Recommended for everyone. We’ll definitely visit this amazing location again in 2016.

I absolutely enjoyed the Etoile de Mer Villa experience. Everything looked exactly as it did in the photos; breathtaking view from any point of the huge villa, plenty of amenities, and areas of total relaxation and absolute privacy. Stayed as a guest in the Villa with my wife and my 2.5 years old children and we had an amazing stay! Spacious outside areas, amazing BBQ - dining area, and a big infinity pool which our kid loved. Inside the luxurious and elegant villa, the unique rooms are very spacious, clean and very nice decorated. The villa has all the facilities to accommodate even a young kid as ours. Despite the privacy, in a short drive we had the opportunity to enjoy great beaches, the city and the Gavrio port. Everything is very close. The friendly owners, Vana and Pavlos, real offered to us Greek hospitality and care, before and during our stay at Andros Island. Overall it is an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend it to persons that they want to have private holidays with irresistible view of the Aegean.
