Lovely clean house. Plenty of room for our group of 6. The village had some tavernas, shops and a bakery for all the necessities. Short drive to bigger selection of shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the property and the village.

This beautifully restored village house was perfect for 7 of us. Bedrooms downstairs are cool in the heat and the beds are firm but super comfy. Kitchen and bathrooms well equipped. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Courtyard perfect for dining and fab view from balcony. Village itself is ideally located just a couple of kilometres from the quiet sandy beach at the harbour of Skala Kallarachi - great for a dip before breakfast. Taverna in the square is friendly and totally authentic and little shop above the house perfect for basic supplies. Our host, Sarah was extremely helpful all along. Try this house if you want a genuine Greek village atmosphere in a luxurious property in a great location.

The house is wonderful, has everything you'd need for your stay. The stone walls keeps the house cool and its beautifully decorated. The village is a pleasure to stroll, the gardens especially picturesque with growing fruits and vegetables. All the locals are very friendly but don't really speak much English unfortunately, you might have better luck in German. If you learn a few Greek words I'm sure they'd love you! The only slight gripes would be the compactness of the village, whilst with its charms means you hear all that's around you. When the neighbours are awake you are too (and at all times of the day). Other nuisance is there is a lot of hungry stray cats - I would strongly recommend you don't feed them as you will have cat city in the garden. Minor gripes however, I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

On a adoré notre séjour dans cette belle maison, décorée avec goût et souci d'authenticité. Tout le confort nécessaire pour une grande famille ou pour un groupe est là, mais la décoration soignée ajoute ce côté bien-être qu'on apprécie toujours dans une location. Un grand merci à Sarah qui a tout fait pour que notre séjour soit agréable. Elle nous a expliqué dans les moindres détails le chemin à parcourir, où se trouve les commerces les plus proches, les restaurants à visiter, etc. Même s'il y avait des travaux tout près, on a tout interrompu pour la durée de notre séjour. De plus, Sarah a été si gentille de répondre à toutes nos demandes rapidement et efficacement. Nous avons eu beaucoup de chance pour avoir choisi cette location si confortable et agréable et pour avoir trouvé autant de compréhension et de gentillesse chez nos hôtes. Je recommande cette location située dans un village Grec authentique tranquille, perché sur une colline aux plantations d'oliviers et surplombant la mer où je reviendrais toujours avec plaisir.

Beautiful newly renovated stone house. Very friendly owner. You really feel at home there. Ideal for arelaxing family holiday. Good spot for exploring the island.

the property is a beautiful village house in a lovely old Greek hillside village. The house has been fully and authentically renovated and is clean, tasteful and very comfortable. The view from the terrace is wonderful, and the outdoor eating space with BBQ is perfect for meals. Sarah is a warm and delightful host who went out of her way to make everything easy and invited us to a superb dinner. Thank you!!

Early June in Thasos was perfect. The uncrowded beaches are clean and the water just warm enough to swim. The wooded hillsides smell heavenly. We loved staying in the village of Kallirahi with friendly - although sometimes the fast Greek chatter was a bit noisy- neighbors. Going out every morning to buy fresh bread, cheese and tomatoes for breakfast was an opportunity for a Greek lesson from the baker and mini market owner. Anoussa's House is as lovely as its photos. It is an old stone house with local character, and renovated to provide all the creature comforts one needs. It is clean, fully equipped, and comfortably decorated- tastefully, too (a bit unusual!). We enjoyed an afternoon tea on the balcony overlooking the sea, and breakfast under the trellis in the stone courtyard, where a honeysuckle sweetens the air. The house felt a little big for the four of us. With the large living room and four bedrooms, it can easily accommodate eight people. Sarah was an attentive and gracious host, even if not there. She responds quickly to any communication, and made good suggestions, such as walking up to the mountaintop church. This was one of the best vacation rental experiences we had. I you like to experience a bit of the local life and avoid packaged tourism, this is where you want to be.

Annousas house was a wonderful place for our holidays, with a great atmosphere, warm welcome, gorgeous view and sunsets,with very clean and large rooms with a lovely accomodation, a well-tempered pergola, well-sorted kitchen equipment for culinary dinners, atmospheric completed with a selection of opera music and movies. Thassos is a very beautiful island with lovely beaches as well as montains.
