Diana was absolutely lovely! She, and the rest of the staff, were so helpful, kind and hospitable.

The hotel has a beautiful view to Kamari Bay, a short (about 10 mins) walk to the closest beach. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and we received a great service all around.

There is nothing much to mention. Perhaps it would be nice to have a kettle available in the room as standard.

The lady on the reception desk was so lovely. unfortunately I didn’t get her name but she was so helpful and friendly. we only stayed one night but she spoke to us about where to visit and gave us a map of the island. just a very kind genuine lady. anyone staying here will be well looked after.

We were expecting to be a bit more closer to the sea, but it was totally fine! The beach is only 15 minutes away by walk, and with this location of hotel, you are also close to Kefalos village! The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful with renting a car or organising the trip to Nisyros (volcanic island), also calling the taxi. The water pressure in the shower was great but this also created another problem you can see on the "negative column" Amazing view from the rooms and hotel balcony! We preferred the sea but the hotel has a pool. The hotel has a small bar that you can have cocktails, beers and have a quite evening on the terrace of the hotel.

Room service was bad. We expected dirty towels to be changed at least once in a 5-day stay. At least the towel that we had to use to dry the water that overflowed from the shower in the bathroom and placed on the floor! Because the shower curtain is not long enough and the splashing water accumulates in the middle of the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was great but this was also the problem. No shower products are offered. The room was exposed to the sun all day long, which left us breathless as soon as we entered. It was a problem that you could only turn on the air conditioners with a card when you were inside the room. Room balconies are completely adjacent, there is no space between them. This did not make us feel very comfortable. The food (especially burger) we had at the pool restaurant was really bad! We only ate there on the first day when we arrived tired and never tried again.

Family friendly hotel. Great having fridge, kettle and air conditioning in your room. Lovely buffet breakfast, ham cheese, eggs, tomatoes, cucumber , peppers, olives. Bread cereals, pastries/cake yogurt. Cold fruit drinks and hot drinks. All self service. Had hot breakfasts to purchase of the menu Pool is great has easy access with stairs leading into it

Slight inconsistencies with breakfast. Some days had less on offer than other days. Breakfast served from 7.45 - 10.45 but if you got down after 9am the pastries or cake which every was on offer that morning would have been finished, not to much of an issue when the rest of the buffet was available, but made breakfast very limited when it wasn't.

We really liked the friendly staff and family feel. Everything was spotless.

The hotel is situated up a steep hill from the beach/main strip, with walking being along the main road, so could be tricky for young children or older less mobile. This didn't bother us and we soon got use to it. There is a great pool and bar at the hotel.

well, the breakfast is from the cheapest kind possible. couldn’t even drink the coffee not to mention cheese. there were cockroaches, the hotel said it’s be abuse it’s Greece. but when I moved the hotel I saw none.

Our room was very clean and with an exceptional view. All the staff were extremely welcoming. Very convenient location!

Really nice structure, big swimming pool area, big room with terrace. Wonderful view from the room.

We had a room on the first floor in one of upper buildings. There was a beautiful view on the whole Kefalos bay with morning sunrise. The room had the air conditioning and the room service was every day. The hotel staff was really helpful and communicative. There was no problem with late check-in caused by delayed flight.

Hermes Hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed at; this family run hotel is incredibly hospitable, and every member of staff treats you as one of their own. The location is excellent, just a 10 minute walk to the beach and all the facilities of Kefalos, and up the hill is the town. Top notch cleanliness, friendly staff and well maintained facilities. They even had olive oil from their own groves! I will certainly be back when I'm next in Kos!

We arrived at the start of the season, so some breakfast items were not available readily but this is not the hotel's fault!

Super Friendly Staff and the pool was just amazing. The rooms were great and very modern, loved the location as only a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back to stay at this wonderful hotel. Amazing Greek night with BBQ on Saturdays
