The property is a little rundown and not exactly as shown in the pictures. None of the locks worked on the sliding doors which poses a security issue - both the main floor sliding doors and the bedrooms on the upper floor. We didn't feel safe leaving any valuables behind while we toured during the day. The kitchen didn't have the basics in terms of spices, utensils, etc. A lot of the pots and pans were very old and unusable. They were all scratched dirty. Lighting is terrible everywhere. The beds were also not that comfortable. We used the washing machine but it did not work well and we tried to use the dryer but the noise to run it was so loud that we just pulled everything out and hung it around the house. The patio furniture is nice but the cushions are run down, dirty, stained and dingy. Not really usable for fear of staining your clothes. All and all, the place is okay but I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I love staying at this house. It was perfect for a weekend with friends.

Lovely villa, Clean and tidy. Close to restaurants and beach. Jaqueline was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

We had an excellent time in this lovely property with easy walking access to the beach and beachfront restaurants. We really enjoyed the pool and backyard area which was private and a great way to cool off after a day of adventuring. We ran into a little trouble during check in (be sure to double check your map location if you are using navigational systems) but our hosts were very skilled and managed to find us and direct us to the correct location. Overall we had a wonderful time!

Location, pool and rooftop terrace was fantastic. Beds were hard but we were given a lot of towels, pillows and blankets which were appreciated. Arrived to NO toilet paper (not even a sqaure) which was really quite disappointing after a long car ride... the entire property was void of all paper products / baggies / laundry soap / dishwasher soap, etc. Long term this isn’t an issue, but to buy all of these supplies for only 4 days (only to then leave it for the owner whindidnt supply it) really didn't make sense so it is the only reason this property didn't get 5 stars. A couple rolls of TP and a few pods of detergent goes a long way for a weary traveler!

We had a great time in Luz. Kids loved swimming in pool. Great restaurants in the area.

Very old and shabby furnishings. Interior main level couch and chairs should be replaced. I wouldn't sit on the couch. Dining chairs are dirty and dity outdoor seat cushions are used on them. Outdoor pool furniture is dirty and much too large to walk around the very small pool. This is dangerous. Holes in the bedroom curtains! 2 entry doors do not lock properly! There is an ant problem in the kitchen. The host, who is not the owner, entered the property while we were out to leave a note re payment. Unacceptable! Owners have been gone for 3 years and it certainly shows. After years of 5 star experiences with the other worldwide vacation rental company this was our first with Vrbo. Never again.

Luz is a lovely small town not very crowded. The apartment was very good in all sense . Clean with nice living room , pool , bedroom and had everything in the kitchen. The apartment was clean and taken good care of. The owner specially was very nice and explained everthing when we checked in. Any doubts she immediately responsded through WhatsApp. Overall a very good experience and a lovely apartment for families.

An amazing property with a incredible view. The house is very big and also very clean. The pool is nice with the barbecue and beach close enough to go there walk.

Although we were only there for 2 nights we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The outside areas are fabulous and the view from the rooftop deck is stunning!

We had a great stay at this property as a family . There were 9 of us and the property serviced all our needs very well. Jackie the host was amazing and extremelly helpful with all our needs , We had agreat time !!

Lovely house, very clean. Indeed well equipped kitchen. The location was also perfect. The owner was very helpful. We had very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

The villa was everything that we wanted for our family (4 adults and 2 children). The pool area received the sun all day and we used the outside BBQ quite a lot but there are also many nice restaurants and a good supermarkets (Spar and Baptista - which delivers) close by. The property was very clean, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine etc. Luz village is very pretty and we hired a car so found other great beaches along the coastline plus a visit to Lagos and a stroll round the old town is recommended. I would also recommend the cliff top walk from Luz to Burgau - some stunning views. I will coming back to stay summer 2016 with a friend and family.

The villa's location is perfect. Not right on top of everything but still close enough to walk everywhere. Luz has everything you could wish for. Unfortunately, although the villa was spotless and had all the amenities needed, the outdoor space was disappointing. We were a group of 4 and found it a squeeze outside. There were no sun beds, although Jackie did supply one as soon as we requested. We booked the villa assuming we would have use of the table tennis table, as stated in the details, but this was not available. Although the terraces have beautiful views there was no furniture to sit on to appreciate any of this. Saying all this, Jackie was amazing and couldn't have been more helpful so thank you Jackie. We will be returning to Luz but not to this property.

Luz is a lovely village with everything we needed within easy walking distance (bars, restaurants, beach + supermarkets). The villa is spacious and a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Sundown drinks on the roof terrace were one of favorite things to do with stunning views of the sea and coastline.

Lovely village and beach, local restaurants and bars very friendly. Festival on the beach front was fantastic, wish I could stay for longer!!!!!!! We will be back.....,
