Good location, just a couple minutes from the beach.

I booked the room, because I liked the terrace on the pictures - to sit outside in the evening and work on the laptop, but I got "upgraded" to another room on the other side of the street. The room nextdoors with the brown cover is a construction site, they started working at 8 am on Saturday. Not the vacation I pictured. Wifi didn't work in my room. One toilet paper roll and one little shower gel for a 4 night stay (rooms aren't cleaned during the stay). I could ask for more, but why make me ask - I just bought it. I rarely comment in a negative way, but this time I was really disappointed. Lots to improve..

The host had bicycles and sun umbrellas for the beach. The house has a nice patio to sit down and relax in the night.

The pillows were a bit too tall for our liking.

Perfect little room really close to the beach, very clean and nicely decorated. Run by two very friendly sisters and one speaks very good English. The best thing ever was that they lent me their bike, which was the highlight of my holiday.

Chiara is an extremely friendly and helpful host. Located a couple of minutes from the beach, it is a perfect home to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Very nice and comfortable apartment brand new after reconstruction with a beautiful terrace. There was a small coffee machine with tasty coffee for your morning. We could rent bikes (although they had a bit flat tires) for free in the apartment which was a big plus. The staff was very helpful and willing. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, great location. Highly reccomended.

We were missing just a few small things like towels or a wine bottle opener.

The bed was comfortable. Good location. The terrace was really nice, perfect for escaping the midday heat. The small fridge in the room was convenient. The coffee machine and the free coffee capsules were awesome to have in the room, the perfect way to begin the day.

The room is never cleaned during your stay. That would be not a big problem if cleaning devices were accessible/available. Also, there are two rooms that share one electric water boiler, which makes it impossible to have a warm shower in both rooms at the same time. Either wait till the other room is done taking a shower or be faster :D.

I met the place out of season, transportation was only by car

We had a wonderful stay in this place! The rooms were clean, spacious and modern, the bed was very comfortable and there was even a little coffee machine we used every morning. The host Chiara was lovely, she arrived even before us and recieved us with such warmth and friendliness that we felt at home right away - throughout our stay she was happy to give us recommendations and help us out with anything we needed, always responding quickly to any messages we sent her and making sure we were comfortable. The location was great as well, less than a 5min walk to the center but still quiet (Torre dell'Orso itself is a great base to explore Puglia and while small has a number of amazing restaurants to try). We especially loved the fact that there are two bikes to free use for guests, we used them almost daily and it enabled us to see the gorgeous surroundings of Torre dell'Orso (beaches, grotta della poesia, due sorelle etc.) on our own without even having to rent a car. In total, we were super happy with having chosen this place and are already thinking about coming back soon!

There was hardly anything we didn't like, the only things that comes to mind is that the free bikes could use a bit of servicing (brakes, tires etc.) and there was a dog in the neighbourhood that would bark at random times during the day. However, neither of these impacted our stay significantly and I can still happily recommend anyone to stay here!
