Midden in het centrum. Veel bezienswaardigheden echt op loopafstand. Niet ver van het station. Vriendelijk personeel, behulpzaam. Als je iets voor op de kamer nodig hebt, mag je dat pakken. Bijvoorbeeld tandenborstel enz. Kamer was groot genoeg.

Het was te warm in de kamer en met geen mogelijkheid was de temperatuur naar beneden te krijgen. Wel een luchtreiniger op de kamer en dat hielp iets. Raam kon maar op een kiertje. Ontbijt was minder. Te weinig plek voor alle gasten, dus wachtlijst. Duurde lang voordat de tafels waren leeggeruimd, omdat er geen systeem is van zelf opruimen. Het eten was ook wat minder, maar dat is persoonlijk.

朝食のバイキング、毎朝入店まで長時間待たされるので、仕事の都合により朝食付きを選んだが8日間の滞在中2日しか利用出来なかった。 駐車場利用の件でいくつか聞きたかったが、 新人スタッフが不慣れというか、社会経験がなく対応が悪かった。

10-15 minutes from the station by the city bus. Excellent & English speaking Reception staff. Very polite housekeeping team. The hotel was nice & clean. Didn't feel like we needed anything more. Best wishes to the hotel management & staff.

A very comfortable and pleasant hotel in an interesting and lively area of town.

Nothing I can think of. I baulked at first at the idea of a Japanese hotel without Japanese cuisine but ended up really appreciating Il Chianti’s food and staff – excellent breakfasts with plenty of Japanese options, and great salads for instance for lunch.

スタッフの方々がとても親切、丁寧でした。親しみやすい雰囲気でとても居心地が良かったです。

これといって無いですが、もう少しお値段が安いと嬉しいです。

場所がめちゃめちゃ良かった。駐車場があったのも良かった。

風呂トイレ一緒は人数が多いと辛い。

Single use plastic water bottles in the room, fridge and A/C were on when I arrived and didn't shut off automatically when the key was out (as it should happen to save energy), also no coffee in the room or lobby

Excellent location, it's easy to get around the center from the hotel. Breakfast has a range of Japanese-type breakfast options, with only limited 'european' choices. The hotel provides a wide range of items for free, such as cotton swabs, chopsticks, a microwave oven, etc.

It would have been nice to be able to take the stairs, instead of always having to take the elevator.

Totally enjoyed our stay in Kanazawa. The breakfasts were wonderful, location was great and the place was exceptionally clean. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this place.

Great location and value

This is a very well-located hotel: a 15-minute walk gets you to the station, the Castle and Kenroku-en Garden. The rooms themselves aren't distinctive but they are roomier than typical hotel rooms in Tokyo, and I could even lie down in the bath (sort of!). We appreciated the laundry facilities in the hotel.

It all felt a little bit impersonal, perhaps because this is one of the few places where the reception staff seemed slightly frosty.

The hotel is in about 15min. walking distance from Kanazawa Station so it´s fine to walk without the need of a cab or other transport. Also many sights as Kanazawa Castle, Kenroku-en Garden and the Museum of Contemporary art are within walking distance. The Hotel looks nice from the outside, also the reception area is beautifully designed. The staff was friendly and welcoming - and despite some language issues the receptionists were trying to be helpful. The hotel has a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer - so that was really helpful.

As beautiful, as the reception looks, the room we stayed in was very basic and really tiny. One could barely move around the bed. We have stayed in 5 hotels during our trip in Japan and this room has been the absolutely smallest. Also there was a really weird chemical smell in the room which we were unable to get rid of even by opening the window. When we asked for an extra bed sheet for my husband (because he doesn´t like to sleep with a blanked as it´s too hot for him) it was impossible to explain to the staff the nature of our request. We tried with english first, then adding hands and even tried with google translate - and they really tried to help us - but the lack of english resulted in getting a thick blanket which was the opposite of what we needed. But i guess lack of english language skills is a general issue in Japan and we experienced that only Mercure hotels (we stayed in two, Kyoto and Tokyo) seem to have higher recruitment standards regarding language requirements - at least from what we have experienced. All in all not a bad stay, but we didn´t feel like spending more time than necessary in the room.

More or less what you would expect from a three-star hotel. Staff was friendly. Nice selection of amenities, good, central location. Room and the facilities were quite alright.

I don't know if there is some sort of mold or ventilation issue in the building. My girlfriend is allergic to mold and as soon as we stepped in the lobby, she got a headache and felt that something was off. This persisted in the hallways and in our room as well. We ended up checking out without staying the night, deciding to change hotels. Leaving the premises would cause her headache to be immediately relieved - this was the only place during our entire stay in Japan where this was an issue. On the surface, everything looked fine and clean, but the air inside did feel a bit musty. Might be okay for a short stay if you're not too sensitive to this kind of stuff - I would have barely noticed it myself, but my girlfriend felt really unwell because of this. Judging from some other reviews it doesn't seem that we're the only ones to notice this either.
