The apartment owner, Marusa, was so helpful and a wonderful host for our first visit to Slovenia. We loved strolling down the street from the apartment to restaurants, sight seeing, and cruising along the river. Be ready to walk up a few flights of stairs to the apartment, but you'll be happy to work off the ice cream.

We had a wonderful time in Ljubljana at Marusa's Art Aemona apartment! The apartment is spacious with incredibly high ceilings as advertised. It is close enough to walk to all of the major sights in the city center and has multiple cafes/restaurants within two blocks (two are literally right across the street). Our two kids loved the bunk bed setup, which provides almost the privacy of two separate rooms with the arrangement of the lower single bed and upper queen bed. The master bedroom was also comfortable and quiet. We can also vouch for the comfort of the hammock, which all of us napped in at least once during our stay. Marusa was great to deal with from the initial booking to our departure and provided great suggestions about what to see and where to eat when she delivered the keys to us. She even provided fresh fruit, a bottle of water, and some juice for the kids upon arrival--a lovely welcome to Slovenia.

Marusa was a great host. She communicated clearly and often with me before our arrival and made everything go very smoothly. She even helped us arrange for a car to the airport. The apartment is located so central to Ljubljana that we walked everywhere and returned our rental car early. We found everything we needed in the apartment and my family enjoyed our stay very much. It was very spacious for our family of 4. My children enjoyed the hammock and the toys around the house. Everything was comfortable like home. We did not utility the kitchen at all as there was so many bakeries, cafes, and restaurants. Highly recommended.

This was a very centrally located apartment, which offered very peaceful accommodation to our family of 4 over 3 nights. We loved the apartment's homliness and appreciated the apartment's space and cleanliness. The owner had left soap, washing detergent, dishwash tablets etc which all made the stay a bit simpler, as well as good recommendations for places to eat. We would definitely stay again. The key transfer was apparently simple (our teenage son arrived first independently and collected key) and all communication with the owner was clear and she was very flexible. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We can only recommend this very nice appartment and location. Our stay was perfect and we enjoyed every moment, inside and outside the appartment, the city of Lubljana and the country. Marusa, the owner, made us feel like home and helped us during all our holidays to discover the gems of her country. She is an "ambassador" of Slovenia and she gives the keys of her appartment like a piece of her hart. We stayed for 13 days and travelled all around Slovenia from the coast to the mountains, from the wine region to the lakes, from the caves to the castles, from the rivers to the waterfalls and from the restaurants to our comfortable room ;-). Don't hesitate if you are looking for a short or a long break, this is is the place to be ! It's one of the best vacation apartments our family of five has stayed in. Clean, comfortable, functional, fun. Kids loved the hammock. High ceilings a bonus. Owner's attention to detail / effort in making your stay comfortable is very evident. Amazing combo of location and parking spot. If you're fine with a third floor walk-up, then book away!

We spent one week in Marusa's Art Aemona apartment. The apartment was immaculately clean, spacious, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It had all the amenities and equipment one may want in a vacation apartment. It is truly a luxury apartment. Location is good as the city center is close. Also close are grocery stores (one of them inside a large department store) and restaurants. (Get your fruits and vegetables from the downtown farmers' market, best on Saturdays). BONUS FOR JOGGERS: Tivoli Park with its jogging/walking/biking paths is only a short jog away. Marusa is a gracious and very organized host. She thoughtfully provides all the essential information, gives you good visiting tips and is ready to answer any question you may have. She was very accommodating and flexible in making the rental arrangements. Finally, a plug for Ljubljana and Slovenia in general. Great city and country to visit. Wir (drei Personen) haben uns in Marusas Wohnung sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Altbauwohnung mit hohen Decken ist prima ausgestattet und sehr ruhig gelegen. Marusa ist eine unglaublich nette und unkomplizierte Person, die uns mit Tipps für Ausflüge und Sonstiges immer hilfreich zur Seite stand. During our very short weekend break this apartment have made ourselves feel at home (even though being quite far from our real home). The place has a special charm, it is designed with taste and the variety of colours just cheer you up. It is greatly located and you can walk basically everywhere like city centre, castle or relaxing Tivoli park. The owner is a great, energetic, flexible and very responsive lady so you will like communicating with her from the first moment :)

Me and my family (two adults, two kids) spent a week in Art Aemona in June 2015. It was an unforgettable week and we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment, its facilities, location etc. were fantastic, and everything was as described - or even better. The apartment was in a great location, artfully decorated and very comfortable. We were able to walk to all the major sites and enjoy lovely Ljubljana. Marusa was a great host. She organised a driver to pick us up from the airport and was at the apartment to meet us. We subsequently used the driver for two day excursions and he was most accommodating and helpful. We also enjoyed meeting up with Marusa in Izola. Would highly recommend both Marusa and her apartment to anyone planning to visit Ljubljana.

This property was perfectly located near the center of Ljubljana - a short walk to anything we wanted to see in the city. Marusa has created wonderful, well-cared for space that was clean and lovely. Her apartment reflects her as a person - wonderful and generous. She made us feel completely at home. Her place is spacious and her beds are very comfortable. She has put extra effort into the windows of the apartment so that any street noise is blocked. I look forward to returning to this special property next year! It's a winner!
