Just the perfect Bajan place. We’ll set up, really comfortable, on the water, great location with access to everything. Little Reef is a well loved family place that we all get to share. Great host and local managers who are on hand whenever needed. Highly recommended

I can’t rate this place highly enough. The location is perfect, the apartment well equipped. Grantley and Michael can’t do enough to help out during your stay if you need anything and Sally is a great host. This property is probably the best all round place I’ve ever found on VRBO! The reviews say it all really.

We had a great stay at Little Reef. The location is great and has direct ocean access with small coral reefs, lots of fish and the occasional turtle. The apartment had everything we needed and has restaurants, beaches and a grocery store within walking distance. The only small drawback is the road which is very busy and noisy at times.

We had a lovely time at Little Reef and thank goodness we were there.. My wife having had an accident , whilst walking on the dodgy Barbados pavement and we were obliged to stay around the appartement much longer than expected. However the views help us with the various boating and shipping activities to watch. It also enabled me to go swimming frequently between my chores. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. Unlike some places where you get all sparkling white tops meant for show this was homely and we loved it.. Micheal was always available if needed and welcomed us in whilst showing us around. Grantley, next door, kept the terrace free from sand and debris. With the supermarket in walking distance we made good use of the kitchen. We loved it.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We much prefer our own space and this place gave us that. Views of the sea from the master bedroom and the living space, walk straight out and it’s like being on a boat. The waves crash below you which is lovely. The sunset is also stunning. Bus stops a moment away to take you up to Holetown or down to Bridgetown easily flagged down and can be very fun (get the yellow bus!) House is perfect has everything you might need. Would definitely return.

This west coast accommodation is very convenient to exploring Barbados! Beautiful setting on the water too! The lower apartment was very nicely outfitted but could use a little updating. Only negative to our whole experience was the loud traffic early in the morning. The property owners were a pleasure to deal with!

It really is a beautiful location. The villa needs a little tlc, nothing major, new bedroom furniture and a proper clean, it certainly won’t stop us booking again. The location, views etc overcome the minor gripes.

The location of the property on the water is exceptional. The indoor/outdoor living with patios allowed a great view of the ocean and sunsets. The aircon units in the bedrooms are exceptionally quiet. Nearby access to groceries and bus service.

Loved this property with its fantastic location and views straight out to sea. The best place to sit in the evenings with a glass of wine watching the sunset. Well equipped kitchen, great for us as we love to cook. The property is on the main road but this didn’t bother us at all, we only used the main bedroom which looks out over the sea so noise wasn’t a problem for us. Easy to explore the rest of the island from here, we had a car but there are frequent buses from just outside. The only possible downside is that the main terrace is shared with the flat upstairs which can feel a bit intrusive at times. Over all a lovely place with outstanding views, we really enjoyed our stay.

We are already missing the sounds of the waves and our daily walks on the beach. It is amazing to be able to have our meals sitting on the patio watching boats go by and feeling the warm breezes. The villa is very comfortable and has everything you need. Michael greeted us and gave us a tour of the villa when we arrived and was helpful and a call away to answer any questions as well as Sally herself. Samantha came in after our first-week stay and changed the sheets and cleaned. She is a delight. We had read other reviews where they wrote about the road noise and since we reside in the country at home we were concerned about this but had no issues. We slept well because the traffic is quiet overnight. The yellow buses were quite an adventure and took us basically everywhere we wanted to go. Our tour guide and taxi driver Dale was amazing and we learned so much about the island and it's history on the tours he took us on. Jordon's grocery store a 5 min walk away provided most of what we needed but Massey's in Holetown, a 5 to 10 min bus drive away depending on traffic, had everything we could get at home. We met a lovely woman a block from Jordon's named Laurelle who was a perfect treasure. She runs 'Laurelles Kitchen' where you could order a meal in the morning and pick up for lunch or dinner at reasonable rates so was our favorite. Le Cabanne was our ultimate dining experience a 5 min bus ride away on Batts Rock beach. Hands down the best lamb we ever ate. The weather is undeniably the best we have encountered anywhere on our travels with consistent daytime temps of 29C. Thanks go out to Grantley who was sweet and kept the grounds beautiful. There are just too many positives about this apartment but the top three are: 1) Stunning backyard- couldn’t get enough of the view and the sound of the calming sea 2) Can reach the quiet beach within seconds 3) Right next to amenities including the bus stop to get you to Holetown Would recommend this apartment to everyone 😊

We had a lovely two week stay at Little Reef. Right on a perfect quiet beach, within easy reach of all the West Coast has to offer. Bed was comfy, air con great, WiFi fast and the apartment although basic had everything you needed. The sunsets were spectacular!

When we booked, we were torn between the tourist area of the South side of the island or the calmer waters on the West coast. We visited the South coast, great bars and restaurants, but best beaches are West coast hands down. Go the grocery store, load up and relax at the Little Reef. Nice Italian place a short walk down the beach. When we go back to Barbados this is the place I will look at first for availability!!

Our 5 day stay was to commemorate our 30th wedding anniversary since we had visited Barbados on our honeymoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Reef. The apartment is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. We had wonderful weather which allowed us to enjoy the spectacular views and dine on the porch. One of the highlights for the place was the wonderful snorkeling equipment that was provided. We went snorkeling 3 out of 5 days right off the beach and saw some beautiful tropical fish as well as a Hawksbill Sea Turtle. There are some great restaurants and grocery within walking distance. Just a note about the seaweed that is all over the island- it was minimal on our beach and was gone the next day. If we ever come back to Barbados it will be to stay at Little Reef again.

Just returned home from our 2nd stay at Little Reef. The very worst part is having to leave! We just love the old charm of the apartment and the location, beach and water is true paradise. Grantley and Michael are so friendly and helpful as are most all Bajans we met. Only snag is that the house is on the main noisy busy road, but that will not stop up from dreaming of a return! Thank you Sally for another week full of priceless memories in your beautiful home.

Our fourth visit to Little Reef and it probably won’t be the last! Access to the lovely beach makes the location special and the improvements to the property in recent years make it a lovely place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved just sitting watching activities on the water and enjoying the ocean breezes. One negative being the noise from the road and it took a while to get used to the security system. So many keys! But we had a wonderful visit. Once again Barbados did not disappoint. Had a fantastic stay at Little Reef. The apartment is in a great location, easy to get to various beaches, restaurants and supermarket. Some reviews mention it’s quiet noisy being close to the road but that did not bother us in the slightest. Listening to the sea and waking up to that view more than made up for it. Apartment was much more spacious than it appears in the photos and was well equipped with everything you could need. Yes it was a little dated, but that’s Barbados style. Plenty of outdoor space on the balcony and shared patio. Would return to this property in a heartbeat.

This Little gem has the best view ever ! When you are in the balcony or terrace you feel like you are on a large balcony of a cruise ship !!! It makes you forget there is a very busy crazy noisy road out front ! The unit was clean and very well stocked kitchen for long stays We eat in a lot so had almost everything we needed Great having a washer and dryer too ! We can’t wait to return again !

We absolutely loved our stay in Fitts Village at Little Reef. The Sea is right at your feet. All the restaurants we tried were wonderful. Weather perfect with lower humidity! Sally was wonderful answering all my questions! We would definitely recommend a stay at Little Reef!

The apartment was very well equipped. It was well maintained and clean and comfortable. Great assistance from the caretaker and the owner. A short walk to a small grocery store and local restaurant. Ideally located right on the beach on the calm west side of the island. Just steps to the water. We spent hours watching boats, birds and sunsets. We will recommend it to friends and hope to return.

Little Reef was wonderful. The villa was very well equipped the large bed was so comfortable with a lovely view of the ocean .Lots of snorkelling even saw a turtle very close to the villa. The sunsets were lovely we really did not want to come home. Grantley and Michael were always available if required

This apartment has a great location in St James, just a hop, skip and a jump to both Bridgetown and Holetown. Upon our arrival, we found the fridge stocked with a mini care package of essentials (including a couple of bottles of Banks!). The caretaker, Grantley, who lives next door, was watching for our arrival and quickly got us settled in. The front patio doors open right up to give you an indoor/outdoor living area. The apartment has its own personal patio for dining (there is no indoor dining table) and hanging out; however, the lower patio a few steps below it is shared with the upstairs apartment, which is worth keeping in mind if you would be deterred by this lack of privacy - your apartment and patio are front and centre. If, on the other hand, you enjoy meeting new people, the arrangement provides an opportunity to socialize. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped for doing your own cooking. Typical of this part of the island, the property is sandwiched between a busy road and the ocean. You WILL hear traffic noise. During festival season, there are tour boats including party boats blaring soca music during the festival season sailing up and down the coast, which was fun for us to watch/hear, but which I suppose might be disruptive to others (shrug). You can snorkel directly out front of the property, which is on a sandy beach (bring your own gear). If you're into water sports, a short walk up the beach will take you to the lads who hang out by the Crystal Cove hotel, waiting to offer catamaran trips, water skiing and seadoo rides. The water is calm and warm. Be careful on the coral - there is the rare sea urchin to be found. We never made it to Wendy's Sports Bar which is just down and across the road (tried a couple of times but she was closed for holiday festivities), but we did dine at Il Tempio which is a short walk away. Service there is slow but the food was excellent and the waterfront location is hard to beat. We had a simply lovely time at Little Reef, and would love to come again!
