Beautiful home with great views of Mille Lacs. Property is very well taken care, clean, has a well stocked kitchen, spot for a boat, and great outdoor space.

The cabin is clear and well maintained. The owner is friendly and easy to communicate with. The property is awesome as the large deck is great, access to the lake is nice and the large yard is great for games. Great place for family gatherings. Being on the island can make the big lake feel small and accessible.

The outside photos do not do it justice. The front deck and yard done to the lake are great. We spent most of our time out there. We were there for 3 nights with our 3 adult daughters, their husbands and 2 granddaughters (one is 11 and one is almost 2). There was plenty of space for all of us. We spent a lot of time in the water on floaties, enjoyed the deck and fires at night. If we bothered any neighbors Friday night by being too loud we apologize, there was a little family celebration going on. The only thing we could suggest is adding fans or ac in the upstairs bedrooms, they were very warm even with the air on in the main level. All in all we really liked this spot and this cabin and all the space. Chris is very good at getting back to you with answers to any questions and the next door neighbor is a nice guy that helped us out when we first got there. We would stay there again.

Our family of five met up with friends of ours (who are also a family of 5). We had a wonderful and relaxing long weekend. The private beach was great for the kids, and we all enjoyed fishing from the private dock. The sunrise over the lake was gorgeous. The house was very clean and had plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen had every gadget/supply you could possibly need. It was exactly what we were looking for in a lake-front vacation rental. The owner was easy to get ahold of with any questions, and we loved the large great-room where we could all hang out together. The town is close by with some nice little stores for basic groceries and supplies, which was great. We highly recommend are will definitely consider returning for future trips.

The pictures and description of the property and area do not do it justice. We are a large group and have been stacked liked sardiens in the past. This home was amazing with enough private rooms for all my adult children and grandchildren. Every thing was clean and move in ready! If you have a large group and want a perfect lakeside getaway, then this is the home for you. A wonderful and responsive host and caretakers helped with any questions we had.

The house was beautiful and TONS of room. The owner was very easy to work with and help accommodate our needs with multiple families. I would definitely stay here again.

We contacted the Chris about staying at his cabin for a small family gathering. (We had 9 adults and a couple of kids 3 and under - it was the perfect size). The location was great and the house was amazing! Everything was in working and ready order with good sleeping arrangements for all of us. Plenty of towels for drying off after swimming in the lake, which was right off the property. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances and dishes we could ask for in cooking for the amount of people we had. We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves at this airy and open cabin. **Note to anyone renting in the summer. Purchase your firewood before hand. We had some confusion on what wood pile we were supposed to take some wood from and got yelled at by the neighbors (we put it back the next morning after deciding we shouldn't burn it and just went inside and got our own the next day).The only thing we were weary about and felt a little self conscious about was it felt like the neighbors didn't really want us there and that they were keeping an eye on us. At one point we received a text from Chris about one of the neighbors contacting him about our dog being on the property (which we specified may happen before hand), so that kind of dampered our spirits a bit, and made us feel "watched" so to speak. But we also understood that neighbors will be neighbors and watch out for each other. It did make us more conscious of our future decisions though, which isn't always fun second guessing if what you're doing is going to get another text. Other than that, we had a great time catching up and laughing a lot (we see each other maybe once a year). It was the ideal place to do so and greatly appreciate Chris letting us use his cabin to do so.

Our family enjoyed this beautiful house while we attended a family reunion weekend on Lake Mille Lacs. Convenient location to Isle. Owner was easy to contact and the place was in great shape when we arrived.

We really enjoyed our stay. We caught many fish right around the dock. We would definitely stay again.

We had a amazing time. Cabin was clean and very comfortable for our large group. The kids love the beach area and open flat lot. Unfortunately we went during a may flies hatch so the fishing was terrible. I would diffidently rent here again.

I ended up going up with a few friends of mine - there ended up being seven of us, and there was plenty of room for eating, lounging around, and sleeping. The owner was very responsive, and the pre-arrival information had everything we would need to know. A great location - not too far from town, but still had a lake house/cabin feel. The neighbors were very friendly (including one dog visitor). The one thing is that it was difficult to see the house numbers - keep a close watch, because all of us missed it on the first pass. The wifi was also a little dodgy, but worked after a reset.
