Condo has great ocean views, kitchen with everything you need. Lots of room. Would stay again.

Great condo right on the ocean, close to shopping and restaurants. Will sleep 6 people. Clean and well equipped. But it is expensive!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo overlooking a lava beach with a spectacular ocean and sunset view. The resort and condo is older but it is clean and in great condition. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend as a great value for a small family or group of friends.

Beach supplies were fabulous. Kitchen supplies were proper. Bedding was clean. Patio view was AMAZING. Accessibility to area attractions was great. Owner allowed us to have a late checkout due to a late departing flight. He was so accommodating. We will stay again if we get the chance. 5 stars!!!!

The perfect Hawai’i view!!! We had a perfect time at this amazing condo. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. My daughters loved the loft area to play and have a bit of separation and the two downstairs bedrooms were huge. The place was way larger than we had expected and could have easily accommodated more guests. Highly recommend the easy .5 mile walk to go on a boat/snorkeling tour to captain cook.

We loved our visit to this condo. The location was superb being on the volcanic beach with the lanai facing the sunset. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed and very comfortable. Centrally located for easy access to tourist attractions and the farmers market and shopping areas. Would definitely return to this condo.

The condo complex was beautifully maintained. Our unit came with many great little amenities, like beach chairs and coolers. Nice touch! Our view was breath taking! Peaceful, quiet unit!! Mahalo

Rooms are good sized, and kitchen was well stocked. Lanai overlooking the ocean was out of this world. We caught some glorious sunsets and had a wonderful time.

We rent through VRBO often. This was a great property. Very clean. Well stocked in kitchen and for beach/pool accessories. You cannot beat the location. The store and some restaurants are very close by. There are a few beaches that are within 10 mins. And town is only about 20 mins away. A great spot. We would rent again!

We could not have been happier with our stay on the Big Island. Our accommodations were absolutely perfect for our party of adults. The ocean front view gave us amazing sunsets each night. The condo’s kitchen allowed us to cook many meals during our stay having everything we needed to do so. There was more than enough space for us to spread out. Everything was very clean and orderly. Our family enjoyed the pools, pickle ball, and short morning walks to the ocean. This was a great location for snorkeling, diving, and the parks we wanted to go to. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

My husband and I along with our 4 girls stayed for 5 nights here following our 4 nights in Hilo. It’s a beautiful and WELL STOCKED condo! The beds were comfortable and the view was amazing! The communication with the property owner was not great. I received 2 different texts directing me to contact 2 different people with any concerns/questions during our stay. I emailed the contact numerous times with questions and no response. The cable in the middle bedroom did not work, there was a broken lamp bulb in the master bedroom, the master bath shower has two shower heads, only one working. The bathtub in the 2nd bathroom did not hold water for a bath. The home has 3 bedrooms ( 1 is a loft with 2 beds). It sleeps 7. We had 6 people and were charged $150 for extra guests? I have tried to inquire about this a few times and haven’t received a response. It’s really is a great place to stay - better communication is needed .

So much was offered at this location for our family who had a comfortable and relaxing stay. We would definitely come back again!!

We enjoyed our stay in #1803. The unit was exactly as described. It has excellent views from the common areas. It was spotless and very comfortable/spacious for our family of five. Sunsets from the porch were amazing and you always hear the waves crashing! The ocean side pool and hot tub were very nice and well maintained. First time renting thru VRBO and this was a very positive experience!

Three of us ladies vacationed at this condo for 6 nights. Take note this unit is on the 2nd floor with amazing views of the ocean, complete with with spectacular sunsets and lots of night scuba divers and manta ray snorkelers to watch in the evenings. There is a steep staircase from the entry to the top inside, so be aware if mobility impaired. Also, this is not a 3 bedroom but a 2 bedroom with a loft. The loft is over the kitchen and overlooking the living room with a steep staircase and it has 2 queen beds with no closet nor storage for luggage. The other two bedrooms have king beds that are comfy. The condo could use a deep cleaning to remove the dust throughout. We cleaned the kitchen cabinet hardware that had grease buildup during our stay and made us feel more clean. Also, make note that they charge to run the AC. :( A huge plus about our stay was the stocked closet full of beach accessories... snorkels, flippers, towels, umbrella, cooler, etc! Also, very near the KTA grocery store that has everything to stick the kitchen. Appreciated the goodie basket of local snacks condo owners gave us upon our arrival. Overall, we had a great time while there and would certainly stay there again.

This had everything you needed for your stay at the beach. They provided towels, snorkel gear, and a lovely welcome package! Beautiful water front condo very close to shopping and beaches.

We had a lovely stay. The condo was very well stocked for vacationers—beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, towels. Kitchen had cooking staples and plenty of dishes/cookware. Good location with grocery and a few restaurants nearby—Kona about 10-15 min by car. Can’t beat the sunset on the porch. Ocean pool was beautiful and perfect for my 3 yo son to play. He also loved exploring the tide pools and digging with his trucks in the rocks/sand along the coast. We had a small logistical concern and the rental manager and owner were very receptive and accommodating. Would absolutely stay again!

Aloha! The condo is just as described and fully stocked with lots of extras, which was much appreciated after a 10 hour flight! The location is a great launching point for all Kona activities. Amazing snorkeling beach is only 1 mile away. Grocery store and restaurants are close by. We ate outside at every restaurant - never had a bad meal! We are now big fans of Ube milk shakes/cookies and fancy Hawaiian ice with ice cream and toppings. Our favorite restaurants were Papa Kona, Fosters Kitchen, The View, Sam Choy, Kona Brewing Company, and Magics Beach Grill. There is a great Farmers market across the street from Papa Kona for fresh fruit and souvenirs. Our other favorite activities were Thunder Mountain Coffee Farm, Seahorse Farm, Royal Kona Luau, touring Volcanoes National Park, and snorkeling at Kahalu'u Beach Park. The volcano park is about 2 hours away and a nice day trip. We visited Hilo on the way back and toured Rainbow Falls. It's a beautiful drive! If we had more time, we would've gone back to that side of the island for a waterfall tour or Summit stargazing at night. The condo was a great spot to start and end the day with the amazing water views and wave crashing sounds. Unbelievable sunsets! Mahalo, our family enjoyed our time there! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Well set up condo. The complex has all the amenities wished for. The condo needs a few updates and a thorough deep cleaning. Overall very comfortable and great location.

The lanai is perfectly situated for whale watching, enjoying the sunset and listening to the ocean. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals to enjoy on the lanai. We would definitely want to come back.

Excellent place to stay. The best things when you are away from home is the view, great pillows and mattress, and comfy nice bath towels. Perfect place.

Great unit. Never been in a rental unit so fully equipped and well stocked. Everything you need for the beach and water fun. Very quiet. Incredible views. Strategically located. Definitely recommend for 2 to 6 people.

The 1803 Condo was spacious and lovely! Cannot beat the wonderful view and crashing wave sound. Appreciate that snorkel and boogie boards were available! Thank you for the experience!

#1803 at Kanaloa is a wonderful unit to rent. The views are stupendous, the waves crashing on the rocks were wonderful to listen to. We have never slept better in our lives! The unit is beautifully furnished, and equipped with awesome kitchen supplies, great beach equipment. We had wanted a beach house just to relax in, and this unit gave us that! After 1 1/2 years of not traveling because of Covid, we were so happy to be back in Kona. Anyone renting this unit will not regret it! Thanks for the wonderful accommodations! Aloha till next time!

It had beach towels, snorkel gear in multiple sizes, cooler, beach chairs, washer and dryer. The furniture was comfortable, but unfortunately in need of an update, as was most of the condo especially the guest bathroom and kitchen. The air conditioning was $15 per day. It could not cool the unit below 75, likely because all the louvered windows did not seal tightly. The most important thing not noted anywhere on the listing, was that this condo has 21 steps to get to the living space. My father is 82. I have a history of a broken hip. This was very difficult for us to walk up and down multiple times daily. Especially with luggage and groceries.Overall positives outweighed negatives, but felt it did not justify the high price of this unit.

The location is south of Kona. The property grounds are nicely kept. The swimming pool area near the ocean needs some remodeling. The condo has a beautiful Oceanview but its a little worn down. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing views and a great location near Captain Cook. We really enjoyed staying here. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of towels. Selection of beach stuff, including umbrellas and chairs. Shower was a bit low pressure, but all together a wonderful place to stay on a first trip to the Big Island. Thanks.

If the crashing waves don't sooth you the immaculate grounds, pools, and community amenities will. Our large family was very comfortable in this property and we loved the close proximity to stores as well as some of the best Kona coast activities. Check in and out were a breeze and Brent made everything enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.
