We had a lovely stay here and could not have been more looked after by Giacomo and his son Giuseppe. Giuseppe greeted us and sent over so many recommendations for local eateries, supermarkets and activities in the area. The villa itself is lovely and worked well for our family, the pool was a lovely addition but needed some treatments to it whilst we were staying so we're not able to use it for a few days, however, Giuseppe kept us informed along the way and let us know when it was safe to use which was appreciated. For the future I would say that the decking may need replacing as our little boy kept getting splinters when running around, however this did not affect our use of the area just needed a pair of fip flops. When we arrived there was some chilled wine and bottled water in the fridge which was much appreciated and at the start of our second week Giacomo left us some delicious pastries for breakfast. We honestly couldn't have been treated any nicer by Giacomo and Giuseppe. The villa is in a great location and not far at all from local beaches and the beautiful Castello Del Golfo which is great for restaurants. We look forward to visiting Sicily and Villa Artemisia again in the future!

Villa Artemisia is located in a prime position on the SP47 for easy access to Alcamo, Castello Del Golfo and Palermo Airport to name but a few. We found the area very underdeveloped with very few tourists which was just perfect. The villa itself was furnished in a traditional Sicilian style, fully equipped and spotlessly clean and tidy. For the future I would recommend that the 2 bedside tables in the smaller bedrooms were updated as they looked a little worn but this by no means affected our holiday in a negative way and maybe a fresh shower door. The outside space is the piesta resistance of the villa with its landscaped gardens and endless places to sit and relax. There was not a day went by when we did not use the large pool it was amazing and very well maintained. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners Giacomo and Dario who were always on the end of the phone if we had any questions or needed them. The chilled wine and bottled water awaiting our arrival was a very welcome find, and Dario also left us wine and traditional Sicilian pastries throughout our holiday which really was the most lovely and unexpected surprise. This was our first visit to Sicily, we had the most amazing holiday and were thoroughly looked after and spoilt by our villa owners. (Thank you Giacomo and Dario) We hope to return again in the future.

We liked our stay in Villa Artemisia very much. It began with a warm greeting when we arrived, continued with a nice bottle of local sparkling wine and fresh fruit which we found upon our arrival, and ended with the kind possibility of leaving only in the late afternoon on our last day as we liked it so much. The house is beautifully furnished and is actually prettier in reality than compared to the pictures. It is spaciuos with a very practical layout. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed. The garden is also very pretty with a wonderful pool which we used every single day. Much appreciated by our two children were also the playhouse, the slide and the tabletop soccer. The Villa is located on the road between Alcamo and Castellammare del Golfo and allows fast access to the autostrada and a lot of sights in this area. The supermarket is only a 5 minutes drive as well as dinner in Castellammare del Golfo. Our conclusion: we plan to return!
