This Villa is stunningly beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. It's perfectly located just 40 steps down from the road and it has the most spectacular views from the patio and all bedrooms. It was meticulously clean and had everything we needed. Roberto was a fantastic host and was easy to communicate with. He arranged 3 separate car services to and from the house and the train station in Naples. You absolutely must have Clementina cook you a meal, it was an authentic Italian dinner and it was beyond delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I'm lucky enough to return to Positano.

Do not miss out on this property!!! 4 couples stayed in this beautiful villa, which was clean and spacious. Roberto was a perfect host as was his assistant. Clementina was there daily and brought us delights from her garden. She prepared dinner for us, and honestly it was the highlight of our trip. I cannot recommend this villa enough! Great location and BEAUTIFUL views from every room and the Terrace!!! Roberto the host was very responsive and helped us with transportation even when our flights were cancelled and had to be moved to a different airport at the last minute. You need to have Clementina cook you a meal as well at least once during your stay.

We so much enjoyed staying at this villa. Views from every room and they are simply spectacular. Roberto is amazing and so gracious. The housekeeper, Clementina, comes every day and so friendly. We can’t say how amazing this place is. We went with our three children and had the best time.

His generosity in allowing us the privilege of staying at his resplendent abode, known as Casa dell'Uovo, deserves an acknowledgment of immense gratitude. This property transcends the mere concept of a dwelling; it is a captivating journey back in time, nestled within the enchanting confines of the idyllic town of Positano. In no time at all, one becomes keenly aware of how figures as illustrious as Rudolf Nureyev succumbed to the spellbinding allure of this captivating town. Casa dell'Uovo graces the perfect elevation, perched elegantly upon a hill. It strikes the impeccable balance, not being too low to deprive one of breathtaking vistas, yet not too high to demand an arduous ascent up countless steps. These 300 steps are quite literally a stairway to heaven. When stepping foot inside, one is instantly overwhelmed by a profound surge of emotion, as tears of sheer awe threaten to well up. The house is adorned with exquisite antiquities and artifacts collected by Roberto himself during his travels. The photographs featured on the website, barely scratch the surface of the authentic beauty of this property. We loved our stay here. Absolutely beautiful views and attention to detail which ensured that we had a full experience. You could just relax on the balcony, watch the boats come in and never feel like you were missing any part of Positano if you wanted to take a break from the tourists. We feel so lucky we were able to go and hope to come back one day soon!

Stunning property with a lovely balcony. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and the kitchen was well stocked. The property was cleaned every day to a high standard. The location was perfect and was within walking distance of the beach, shops & restaurants (there are a lot of steps which were fine for us but some people might struggle). Would 100% recommend!

Bucket List destination with accommodations that were absolutely perfect. Home is roomy for 8 people extremely comfortable and impeccably decorated. Every room was just gorgeous and the massive bowls of fresh lemons and oranges! Roberto was wonderful and so responsive in helping with any questions and transportation needs. Clementina kept the house spotless every day and cooked the most incredible meal one night accommodating the menu for GF and vegetarian needs. She is a real sweetheart! So warm and charming. Our stay could not have been better. The apartment is just exquisite. Roomy, handled our 8 adults very nicely. The owner is very responsive. The housekeeper is just wonderful and the meal she cooked for us was simply awesome. It is Positano so you do a lot of walking up and down stairs. We all said that we had a wonderful time.

We recently stayed at Casa dell' Uovo and enjoyed this unique home. The location is conveniently located to restaurants, shops etc. The outside patio is the best part of the home. The view is so picturesque that it seems not real!!! Communication with Roberto was easy, he also arranged some dining reservations and transportation to the airport for us. Clementina is the star of this property. She is so kind, helpful and her cooking in divine. Make sure you arrange for her to prepare a meal for you and your guests!!

This is a beautiful property. Plenty of room and incredible view. Lu chia helped with everything we wanted to do. Clementina and her assistant cooked two delicious meals while there. Will definitely stay again.

One of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. The location was perfect. Not too far from town and not too close in order to get the best views. Every day we watced the sun rise over the water and coast line with different hues of yellow orange and red. Everyone was so helpful. Clementina is an amazing cook and person. She prepared a meal for us with a friend and even serenaded the group. Roberto and his crew were very helpful, courteous and connected for any services that you may need while in Positano.

My husband, my 2 adult children and their spouses had the most enjoyable stay at this rental. We were there 3 weeks. The house is in an excellent location, just steps away from everything. The home is very clean, large, and beautiful. Clementina is the daily housekeeper and you will fall in love with her. Roberto has decorated it with lavish antiques and curios from around the world. All four bedrooms have their own bathrooms and there is a half bath also. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy for cooking in. Clementina made us two exceptional gourmet dinners during our stay. She was even able alter the menu to be gluten-free. She is warm and friendly and really made us welcome. Roberto is an excellent communicator. He is so responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. I would stay at any property he would offer. The balcony of this house is unequal to any we have stayed. The panaramic views are magical. It was hard to leave.

Three couples just returned from an amazing 5-night stay. Every evening we sat on the beautiful terrace talking about just how perfect it was. From the spaciousness, the cleanliness, the thoughtful touches like body wash, toothpaste, and of course the views!! The pictures don’t do this wonderful home justice. Like other renters, we also hired Clementina to cook a fabulous meal - a can’t miss. If you’re searching for the perfect Positano villa, stop and book this one immediately. First and foremost everyone associated with this property was first rate. Roberto was very responsive to our constant questions regarding transportation and meals. The check-in process with Lucy was flawless even for our late arrival. Our pre-arranged "starter" groceries list was perfectly fulfilled and Clementina and Pena (sp?) were, as other reviewers have noted, perfectly delightful. If you decide to stay at Casa dell Uono you MUST have Clementia prepare a meal for you! The villa itself was more than appropriate for our group of three couples...each of our bedrooms were comfortable and had en suite bathrooms. AC in most of the living spaces was very comfortable for our hot late August and early September stay. We spent lots of time on the deck overlooking Positano...its a great view. All of our group is over the age of 70 and while the many stairs in Positano were challenging at times, we all managed. Highly recommend this place. The people make the difference.

A perfect home base for a Positano vacation. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a giant balcony with spectacular views. Additionally, you are in the heart of Positano so you can get everywhere by foot – the beach, shopping, wining and dining. I can highly recommend. Additionally, as other reviewers have mentioned, the best meal we had in Positano was right at the house with……Clementina’s amazing cooking. Best meals of the trip by far. Would go back just to eat her food.

As an international business traveler, I have stayed at hundreds of different properties around the world, both economical and luxurious. Without a doubt, Casa Dell-Uovo has been the most incredible, eclectic, breathtaking and attentively appointed of them all. First of all, the location is optimal – high enough in the Positano cliffside to see all three beaches (Arienzo, Fornillo, and the main beach), yet not too high to be impractical (just a few short minutes, down a few steps, from Da Vincenzo restaurant if you are inclined to google map it). Practically speaking, the unit has 3 bedrooms on the main floor, each with their own 3 or 4 piece bathroom, with the fourth bedroom on a lower level leaving it somewhat isolated from the others. The main gathering place for our visit was of course the stunning balcony, with seating for ~15, affording the perfect 180 degree view of the historic Positano coast. Saving the best for last, the real charm lies within the furnishing, appointments, and historic artifacts that the owners have clearly poured their heart and soul in to sharing with their guests. There is an enormous collection of centuries old letters, posters, notices etc. framed throughout the unit, alongside both modern era art, sculpture, tilework, paintings, etc. The natural accents like tortoise shells, an actual legit sawtooth fish snout (where have you ever seen one of those ever?), unexplainably huge lemons, and dozens of actual live, growing plants throughout make it feel like you in a home. Be sure to take note of the centuries old (Roman marble?) carvings still remaining as part of the original walls – initially ‘camouflaged’ as decorations, these are actually *original*, leaving you feeling like you have just stepped in to a small piece of Italian history. Good location.

Roberto’s villa is an amazing property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is beautifully decorated, exceptionally well cared for and the view from the terrace is incredible. In addition, the layout is such that it ensures plenty of space and privacy with the 4 separate guest rooms and bathrooms. It’s location in Positano also cannot be beat. You are in the center of it all, yet the villa itself is accessed by a quiet pedestrian street which makes returning to the property feel like an oasis from the bustle of Positano. And as everyone else has previously stated, you MUST take advantage of having a meal (or several) prepared by the villa’s caretaker, Clementina. While we had some outstanding meals during our trip, Clementina’s was decidedly the best. Truly superb. Lastly, Roberto was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He was very responsive, courteous and helpful in arranging some things prior to our visit. Bottom line, if you are looking for a beautiful, centrally located villa with an amazing view, look no further than this one.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Casa dell'Uovo!! Perfectly situated within Positano close to everything. The villa oozes charm and character, super comfortable, with perhaps the best balcony in all of Positano. Roberto, Lucia, and Clementina were so nice and helpful. Can't say enough good things, and I hope we can stay here again in the future!

We recently spent an amazing week at this property and can’t wait to return someday. This place is five stars all the way! It is even more beautiful than the pictures! The terrace overlooking Positano was our favorite spot. What a view! Although, every room in this beautiful home has a view! This property is in a great location for access to everything. The restaurant at the top of the stairs was wonderful, Da Vincenzo and there is a really nice grocery/deli also at the top of the stairs called Latteria. I can’t put into words what a magical place this is, but what really made it special are the people! Roberto was so gracious and helpful. Thank you Roberto for helping us with some reservations and for making my birthday so special! Clementina was amazing and we thank her for taking such wonderful care of us. The dinner she cooked for us was our favorite meal we had in Italy! Lucia and Giorgia who communicated with us prior to our arrival and met us when we arrived were great too! I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Positano! Casa Dell’Uovo is perfection!

This piece of property couldn't be in a better location. Quick walk to restaurants, shops, ferries, and beach. There are over 300 steps to the beach area. We were all in our 60's and didn't have a big problem with this. the view is spectacular and the villa is beautiful. The best part of our stay was Clemantina. She keeps the house clean every day but her best talent we discovered is her cooking. We hired her to cook dinner on wednesday and loved it so much we asked her if she could cook on Friday and she did. Authentic Italian cooking and you don't have to leave the villa. This was as good as any 5 star restaurant. The entire experience is 5 star Janet + Ed Perry

Roberto was so helpful from the start of booking and the housekeeper and house manager were super helpful during our stay! The housekeeper provided us with beach towels and stocked us with hand picked lemons and oranges that were so yummy! But the biggest reason i would go back is the view from the patio! Absolutely amazing! We had breakfast out there every morning! At night we would sit out again mesmerized by the Positano coastline. The house is only a 10 minute walk to the main beach area and a smaller quieter beach is 15 minutes walk away. Restaurants and shops are under 10 minutes away. The house is very centrally located!

Amazing and everything we could have wanted

We had such a sublime stay at Roberto's place. The property above and beyond what the photos suggest - we were absolutely blown away by the view from the terrace and the apartment is gorgeously decorated, filled with exquisite artefacts from around the world. And on top of this, his lovely team of Lucia and Clementina extend the most gracious of welcomes and are available to ensure your vacation runs as smoothly as possible.

All four bedrooms with views of the Mediterranean Sea and living/dining room are professionally appointed with museum-level relics - even the hallway and staircase. The balcony was large, comfortable and provided the greatest views of the town, beach, coast and harbor. We booked this prior to the pandemic and paid the entire price before we realized we couldn't go in May 2020 as we planned. Roberto was so easy to work with (very responsive) and so generous (beyond our contract terms) to honor our payment and allow us to rebook for two years later when we were able to travel again. He helped us setup services we needed for the activities we wanted to do. Then there was Clementina who took care of the apartment and helped us each day. We hired her to cook a meal for us, which was voted by us the best meal we had for the entire 2 weeks in Italy! Her love and passion for her work was evident in the care she took and the food she made! We highly recommend this property, host and Clementina!

extremely well cared and elegant home, one felt pampered every day and the setting is magnificent.

Truly enjoyed all aspects of the villa. There was good communication from Roberto as well as from Lucia and Carlo upon check-in. The villa itself is perfectly situated with easy access to the center of town, the two beaches and the ferries. The views are incredible and we spent each not listening to the see from the balcony overlooking the town and the harbor. Each room is well equipped and probably one of the most important is that each room has a door with a screen to a balcony overlooking the sea. The ability to sleep at night in this quiet villa enjoying the tiny waves rolling onto the shore was one of the highlights of our trip. Easy access to a local grocery and also to multiple restaurants and bars at less then a five minute walk. Great property. Also... Clementina is an absolute gem. She cared for everything and was so very diligent about not disturbing us. She kept the villa spotless and was a wonderful resource and guide for many of our daily needs. Thank you Clementina.
