Overall our stay was great! The location you cant beat to the beach and restaurant/bars. Somethings need updated like the couch, very old and dirty with stains. Shower location in the kitchen was odd but for it just being the two of us and the pups, it wasn't a big deal. Thank you Mary!

We had a great stay yet again this year. Dewey has become an annual event with our daughter and her dog during the first week on the “off” season when you can expect dogs to be at almost every umbrella. We ate on the deck where we felt like we were on a sand-free zone of the beach. The unit is well designed, keeping comfort and utility in a small footprint. The kitchen was nicely equipped — from a great coffee maker to a full size fridge. I cooked many of our meals, but we also took advantage of the terrific food that was just a 5 min walk away.

We loved the area. The people were all friendly, and we loved being able to take our dog, Gracey on the beach. The view of the ocean from the balcony was lovely. Our hostess was very helpful when we had any wpwyestiond. Would stay there again.

Excellent location.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this property! The location could not be better. We were just steps away from the ocean, making it easy to go back to the home as needed when we were at the beach. We LOVED spending time on the balcony as we watched the waves crash and the dolphins swim by. The home itself was lovely. Everything was clean when we arrived and we really enjoyed the space. We loved being able to see the ocean from the living room and kitchen. My daughter enjoyed the ocean view from the window of the second bedroom as she read books. We had a wonderful stay here and plan to return!

The condo is in great location, viewing the beach from deck was nice. Drawback was not being able to leave door open because of flies. Need screen door. Had issue with losing key on first day, but owner answered call right away and had cleaning lady come let us in. Lots of great eating and drinking establishments within walking distance. Bathtub/shower not easy to get into. Have to step over high rim. Not good for two people with a bad back and bad knees. But overall a very nice location and property.

I was very comfortable for my 2 week stay. As other reviews indicated, you can't get a better location. Sitting on the balcony was just as good as sitting on the beach. Kitchen was pretty well stocked so it met my needs. And I was happy that it was very clean! Would definitely come again.

Had a fabulous anniversary. Location, location, location! On the beach! Near bars, restaurants, breakfast spots. Short drive to shopping and anything you need! The property was overall clean, but very musty, so bring plenty of plug in air fresheners and problem solved. There was a fair amount of dog hair on the living room rug. The bathtub did not appear to be clean enough for our taste. We brought our own vacuum cleaner and cleaning products and used accordingly. The bathrooms could use a cosmetic upgrade, but were overall satisfactory. The description of the property failed to mention the queen mattress is actually in the sofa bed, so we opted not to use it. My husband and I slept on the double bed in one of the bedrooms. It wasn't the most comfortable, but we didn't wake up with sore backs. You will definitely need to cover the sofa as the owner advised, as it needs a good cleaning. Flys were an issue, but owner provided a swatter. The TVs work well. Lighting is good, including the balcony. We only used the fridge and it worked well. You can't beat the view!! Got to see the sunrise from the nice size balcony, and it was amazing. If you have any issues or questions, the owner is responsive in a timely manner, courteous, friendly and helpful. We will likely return next year.

Great ocean views from living room and balcony, and everything was spiffy and comfortable. The location is ideal for beach access.

This was a perfect beach condo if you want to see the ocean. The balcony was the best part. We would watch the sunrise every morning and then spend the day on the beach. I will definitely come back.

We had problems with the shower as the knob to redirect water to the shower head did not work. We had to go buy toilet paper the first day as there were no reserves and rolls were mostly used. Very little space to store clothing. It met the minimal basics but we enjoyed the deck and ocean views.

Sitting on the balcony only feet away from the beach and the wonderful ocean sounds made this a memorable trip.

The view of the ocean from this unit is spectacular - great for seeing dolphins!. This unit is also in a great location for walking around Dewey.

Super location. Easy access to neighboring attractions

My family has been going to Dewey for 5 years for vacation and before booking, we already knew this property location would be excellent. Just walk right out to the beach and come back to the rental to use the bathroom without issue when needed. A must with young children. The property was nice. It was a bit outdated, but had the essentials. However, we made the mistake of thinking we could use the laundry facility on-site and there was no access (owners only) and no laundry available in the rental. We also didn't realize that we should bring our own hand soap for the bathrooms, as well as toilet paper, and that "bring your own sheets" includes pillow cases. Therefore, once we arrived, we had to make a Walmart run right away, especially for toilet paper... eek! We found there was a station for washing off sandy feet in the garage area. We only contacted Mary once to ask about the laundry and she replied the next morning that there was no laundry. We would have appreciated some recommendations but we didn't ask for them (we had packed lightly thinking we were going to be able to do laundry there). Because sand is inevitable, we had to sweep and vacuum multiple times while there, but the vacuum didn't work very well so sweeping was the better option. We did arrive to small black ants in the kitchen and bathrooms. They died down after a few days and we were extra sure to keep everything in the fridge so they wouldn't have anything to munch on (I'm assuming the former residents must not have been as careful). The place was otherwise pretty clean. The kids enjoyed the tub. The deck was excellent and we appreciated the single serve K-cup/coffee maker to enjoy some coffee out on the deck. Overall, it was a lovely trip and again, the location was excellent.

Great location! Walking distance from all the restaurants and bars. Loved the view from the balcony and being steps from the beach! It was the perfect size for our family of 4!

The condo was a great location and spectacular views with closest proximity to beach access. The condo in itself was a little run down and needed improvements, which was disappointing. It had sand on the floors and not cleaned before I came and dog hair. Overall I did have a wonderful week.

We had a very nice time. Mary was very easy to work with and got back to me immediately when I had a question. The location was convenient to walking almost anywhere. Loved having our little dog there. Such a dog friendly community!

Amazing view of the ocean! Right in the middle of everything! Balcony chairs were on and popp’n!

This property was in the absolute perfect location and checked all of the boxes for our family! Spectacular views from the patio and main living area of the condo, 1 minute walk to the clean and dog-friendly beachfront, just a few minutes to walk to shops and restaurants. Had a blast in Dewey Beach. Dog friendly everywhere we went. Walking distance to everything you could want or need. The condo location can not be beat. The patio view was amazing. Enjoyed everything about our stay in this condo. If I had to pick on something.. maybe time for a new couch or at least bring a sheet or cover for it. Thank you for sharing your place with us..

One of my prime requirements is to be able to hear the ocean and see the sunrise. This condo certainly afforded that opportunity - as even though we were on the first level we were able to see the ocean and the sunrise from the front balcony. The very basics one needs were provided, along with TV and wifi. There were restaurants within walking distance and the entrance to the beach was right next to the unit.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Sunspot on Dewey Beach! Morning coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise was absolutely spectacular! Can’t wait to come back!!

Great location. Shower was not the best as someone in the party had hip issues and difficult to get in but besides that enjoyed our stay

I especially enjoyed the beautiful ocean view and the balcony! Comfortable, but tub is very deep to step in for a shower.

We had a lovely time- condo was very nice, location great- near to everything, especially the ocean and weather could not have been better. What a perfect view from porch too!
