Lovely location

Owners were difficult to communicate with, facilities were quite basic

Absolutely nothing.

The apartment was stylish, furnished tastefully and quite spacious. The view from the apartment is great.

Unfortunately there are a few things to mention on the negative side: - Access/parking: Unless you have an unusual small car, it is impossible to drive to the apartments. The road to the apartments passes a narrow quay, where you drive between a wall on one side and the water on the other side. I usually don't back down from a challenge when it comes to driving, but I didn't risk this. If you park before the narrow quay you will have to walk the last 200m to the apartment. I think it would be fair to mention this in the description of the apartment. The manager was so kind to take our luggage in her Smart. - Fridge: The fridge/freezer unit was turned off when we arrived. So, it took a while until we could keep food cool/frozen. - Boiler: The boiler for the shower was turned off. We only noticed this by the time we wanted to use the shower. After turning on the boiler it took a few hours before we could have a warm shower. - Shower head: In the shower, there is no hook on the wall to hang the shower head, so you have to keep the shower head up while showering. - Wifi connection: The first night the internet connection was very bad. The signal was weak and lost constantly. We contacted the manager and only after the people in the neighboring apartment returned to their apartment and turned on a router amplifying the wifi signal the connection was quite OK. - Dry dock marina: The apartment are directly next to the dry dock marina. The maintenance and construction of boats can be quite noisy. We stayed in the first apartment from the marina and even with windows closed the noise from the dock was very present. - Balcony: we booked an apartment with balcony, but got an apartment without balcony.

Location was 👍 excellent.....easy to commute to old town.

A little far from dubrovnik but that's what justifies the lower price

It is a place for family or calm people. It is not close from Old Town, so if you are looking to be far from the crowd this is a good place. There are few markets close by to buy whatever you need. Room in absolutely clean and new. Buy a wine or beer and stay in the balcony relaxing.

Sometimes there is early sound in the marina close by. It is not walking distance from any beach, but there are public transportation close.
