We had a wonderful few days at Sandy Feet Retreat with our 5 year old son. The property was very clean, the bathrooms beautifully renovated, our son especially loved the huge freestanding bathtub. We had other family also staying in Port so it was great to have the ample living and outdoor space for them to pop over for a BBQ. The WebberQ was so clean and we loved being able to open the glass doors between the lounge and outdoor area when family were visiting. Pool was clean and a nice temperature. Kitchen was well equipped. The house is so close to 4 Mile Beach and a playground. We knew before we stayed that = the location is in is not the middle of town, so it was no surprise to us to not be surrounded by restaurants and shops and were happy to take the short drive into town to dine out. There is however a Bottle Shop, Fish and Chip Shop, Tavern and Pizza Shop all within walking distance. Most mornings we popped down to the IGA to Wheelie Good Coffee Cart to get a fresh brew only a couple of minutes away. The hosts were very responsive and communicative, and we were pleasantly surprised when they contacted us the night before checking in to offer us an early check in. Thanks so much!

Spacious 3 bedroom unit with a private pool. Very clean. We had some issues with basic equipment not working when we first arrived but they were dealt with swiftly by the owners. The cushions in the lounge room and also the outdoor dining table are extremely thin & uncomfortable making it difficult to relax for any length of time. The glass stacker doors are impossible to open and require greasing - we only tried them once! The drawers in the kitchen and bathroom uses a push open/soft close system which has become temperamental so became a pain to use. Situated on a busy road so there is a constant noise of traffic

Close enough to the beach and restaurants, but far enough from the madding crowd. A short 5 min walk to the beach were you could have your dog off the leash.

This home had everything, as soon as you walked through the door it felt like home. Great location, great pool and outdoor area. Absolutely loved our stay.

Very nice modern house. Fantastic bathrooms and kitchen with everything a family would need. Great outdoor area and sandpit and pool for kids. We really felt at home. Owners very responsive to questions and had stocked the fridge with some first day goodies We definately would recommend this holiday destination

My family stayed recently at this property, and it was by far the best holiday house we've stayed at. We had everything we needed to relax, unwind and entertain the kids. We are definitely planning another trip back in the future.

The property is really well set up with a large modern kitchen, and two well appointed bathrooms. There's an awesome bi-fold door that creates a real sense of inside/outside space with the large covered outdoor entertaining area, which we utilised a lot during our 11 night stay. The pool was a great feature especially for our kids and the house is located within a few minutes walk to Four Mile Beach. The house is set in a really quiet part of Port Douglas which made it a great place to really unwind and relax. Our host was great with communication and even provided us with complimentary chips/dips on our arrival. The house is well equipped with fans and air conditioning units for the warmer weather. Our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids) loved staying here, and our german shepherd also felt at home! Highly recommended and would love to stay there again.

Sandy Feet had everything we needed as a family of 3. We really enjoyed the outdoor entertainment area with bbq where you can just sit and relax or go for a swim in the decent size pool. Ideal location for a young family like ours. Just a short walk to the beach, cafe and play ground. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great host we will definitely return

Communication with owners was excellent, the amenities provided helped us really enjoy our time away from home, but without losing any home comforts.
