Loved the quaint cottage and the quaint town and the location at the foothills of some lovely hiking trails. Fresh grapefruit in the morning was delicious! Highly recommend this haven in SoCal!

My sister and I (both senior citizens) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'd have liked warmer weather, but still managed to visit many of the attractions nearby - Huntington Gardens, the Arboretum, the Gamble house, and more. The cottage was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was quick and easy.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect — homey and comfortable. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions. The neighborhood was gorgeous, quiet, and comfortable with a fantastic hiking trail just down the street.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was perfect for our visit. We were able to walk to several restaurants and it was a short ride to Santa Anita.
Kim was very responsive to a few questions we had and provided recommendations for restaurants.

We really enjoyed the house. It was in a wonderful neighborhood and Sierra Madge was a cute town. The house was well appointed and easy access to LA to visit my son and partner. Would surely rent again for our next trip. Annelies & Fred

Our family was born and raised in the SG Valley. The mountains are part of our life and memories. We rented this sweet and peaceful house to visit our CA family, visiting from our new home in Tennessee. It was so wonderful being so close to the mountains and to hiking trails, just far out enough from the city to have easy access to everything.
The VRBO information was extremely accurate and I would highly recommend this tranquil house if you're visiting the area!

We had a great experience at the cottage which is centrally located and a short drive from many experiences. The cottage was warm, inviting and comfortable. We would definitely return and enjoy another stay.

It rained so hard the entire time that the property manager came over and turned their sprinklers off. We had a nice time despite the rain.

I loved everything about this property. The home is so cozy and in a historic area of Sierra Madre. The owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I work in Los Angeles but had to commute to the Inland Empire for meetings and this property was a central location to both. I look forward to staying again in the future.

This is our second stay at the Lavender Cottage and we’ve loved it both times! This time we liked spending time in the garden backyard and walking to the restaurants and shops down the street. We hope to visit again!

The Lavender Cottage is always clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we need for our stay and Kim is responsive to any questions we have. Sierra Madre is a lovely little town, away from the busyness of LA but close enough for a day trip to restaurants, museums, parks, and beaches.

Lovely home and neighborhood
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lavender house. The house is lovely, with very comfortable beds and a charming back yard. White roses, lavender and lemon trees were enchanting. We enjoyed walking to and from town. We highly recommend Lavender house.

Quaint Cottage for Peaceful Getaway
We had a great stay at the Lavender Cottage. Centrally located we were able to enjoy the town of Sierra Madre along with a sightseeing trip to Hollywood Blvd.
Only minor issue which in no way impacted our visit is they keep the thermostat locked so if you need any adjustment to temperature you have to reach out to owner. Not sure they realize that without code you can not adjust even one degree. The beds are very soft so if you have any back problems beware.
Overall a great long weekend for New Years!

Lovely Cottage
Another wonderful stay in Sierra Madre. The Lavender Cottage is clean and comfortable and has everything we need. My husband and I love walking in the neighborhood in the morning and relaxing in the beautiful back yard in the afternoon. We look forward to our next stay.

Peaceful and beautiful home
We had a wonderful visit, thanks so much for sharing your house. The neighborhood is so quiet and lovely, had a great hike on Mt Wilson just three blocks away. Back yard smells amazing and we ate the best grapefruit of our lives from your tree filled with hummingbirds, bees and aromatic flowers.

Sweet escape!
Lavender Cottage provided just what we needed to getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life! The location was perfect for early morning neighborhood walks and hiking trails nearby. The kitchen supplied everything we needed to make ourselves feel right at home for a homecooked meal! And last but not least, the garden in the front and backyard were perfect for sharing a serendipitous and quiet moment! We would recommend this 10/10 to anyone looking in the foothills!

Peaceful cottage retreat
This house instantly greats you with a beautiful fragrant garden! The inside is just as wonderful with beautiful furnishings and decor. The house had everything we needed and truly felt like our home away from home.
Check in was a breeze and the owner was super responsive and helpful whenever we had any questions. We loved the neighborhood and we walked down to local shops and restaurants almost everyday. Overall, this is a wonderful house!

Lavender Cottage
The cottage was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean, attractive, well organized and lovely. We enjoyed sitting in the sun in the private back yard and visiting the shops and restaurants in the near-by business section. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and beautiful. We have a camp in ME and will take back many good ideas for how to present our camp based on your decisions.

An oasis
This was our first VRBO experience and because of the ease of finding the perfect home this certainly won’t be our last. Kim was always very prompt in answering my questions. The Lavender Cottage is a gem not to be missed. Lots of special details that truly made us feel at home.

Cozy and comfortable Home
Wonderful place to stay, visiting family and this cozy and comfortable home made it so nice to enjoy our visit with Our family. We did miss having regular TV but fumbled our way through somewhat and Jason responded promptly when we had a small issue. He was so very kind when we meet as Kim was also on the phone. Very well kept property, we appreciated it!

Beautiful Gem in the hustle and bustle
This beautiful home was perfect for a little girls getaway, it was quaint and beautiful tucked away in the hills. Although a little loud with some work being done next door and older windows, it was perfect. They have done a beautiful job with the home and the yard!!!! They were so accommodating and responsive if I had a question or concern, it was my first experience with Vrbo and I’ve got to say it was perfect! Thank you Kim and Justin!
