A beautiful piece of property with a beautiful view and Beautiful pool . Host Virginia went beyond over and above our expectations . We arrived late after enduring delayed flights etc . We arrived at The Pool House with dinner ready and a table set . Wines in the fridge and Fully stocked for breakfast so we would not have to wake up without . Virginia is a wonderful welcoming host . We could not have asked for More .

Quinta da Tapada was one of the nicest VRBOs we have stayed in. Our host Virginia was so welcoming and had thought of so many things to make our stay even more enjoyable,including lovely tasty treats and good advice on where to shop. The property enjoys gorgeous views over the valley, the pool was most welcome on the hot afternoons. A great place for either a family or a couple.

The whole family enjoyed 15 daysa at the Pool House. It is in a great location with lots to do in the area. There is very good information on places to visit in the area. The house is located High up in the village so it gives beautiful views over the valley and good exercice if you walk up! Virginia is a wonderful host and goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is happy.

After a week traveling and navigating Lisbon and Porto this was such a welcome escape out of the city. Once we got there we didn’t want to leave. Virginia is an amazing hostess and the house is equipped with everything you could possible need or want. It is a very peaceful place. We slept like babies while there. I would highly recommend this place if you just want to kick back and relax.

The house was exactly as described with breathtaking views. Virginia is a real super host. She welcomed us on a late Sunday evening with a snack prepared and even wonderful food for breakfast. She provided very valuable recommendations for sightseeing and other things to do in the area. Thank you very much for everything, Virginia!

We had a wonderful time in the pool house. Everything looks like on the pictures and better, the location is perfect for visits to the sea or to the national park. Virginia and her family are very nice. A perfect spot for quite vacation with the family.

This was the second best house rental we have had over the years we have been traveling and that has been a long time. The pool house is beautiful inside and out. Well appointed and lacking nothing. Virginia, Jose, their three teenaged kids and pets made it even more special. We learned a lot about Portugal and had great discussions over lovely dinners together. This is a very special family. The fresh oranges from the trees outside made a daily glass of freshly squeezed juice for breakfast such a treat. Although we did not intend to have dinner in it was a delight to sit at the table look out at the view and have delicious shrimp from the local grocery store and fish. One really does not need to move from there although there is lots to explore. The long beach walks were the best. We highly recommend the pool house for a quiet restful stay.

Virginia ist einfach eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wir hatten einen frühen Flug gebucht und konnten bereits morgens in der Unterkunft einchecken. Virginia hatte sogar ein Frühstück für uns vorbereitet. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was es braucht, um sich sofort heimisch zu fühlen. Es ist liebevoll, gemütlich und zugleich praktisch eingerichtet. Wir haben super geschlafen und jeden Tag die tolle Aussicht und den Duft der vielen Orangenbäume, die auf dem Grundstück wachsen, genossen. Braga, Porto, Guimarães, die Atlantikstrände, der Nationalpark ... - alles ist von hier gut zu erreichen. Und Virginia gibt bei Bedarf jederzeit gerne Tipps zu Ausflugszielen. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und werden sicher wiederkommen.

L'endroit est magnifique, idéal pour des vacances tranquilles et reposantes. Les propriétaires sont eux aussi extraordinaires et très à l'écoute de leurs hôtes.

Location superbe, très bien aménagée, le jardin et la piscine sont très agréables et l'accueil de Virginia excellent. De nombreuses visites à faire à proximité, la semaine est passée trop vite.

Property was fantastic. Had everything you needed and plenty to do in the area. Easy to spend all day and evening looking at the view. Swimming pool was excellent. Virginia was a great host and full of information. Would recommend.

Unser Portugalurlaub begann mit der recht gründlichen Einweisung durch unsere Gastgeberin Virginia. In den sehr großen geräumigen Ferienwohnungen mangelt es an nichts, wirklich an nichts, es ist einfach alles da was man braucht, eben wie zu Hause, auch hervorragend gute Betten, wunderschöne helle Räume und top sauber und gepflegt. Direkt vor dem Haus gibt seinen richtig großzügigen Pool, den wir leider aus Zeitgründen, da wir mit dem Motorrad in Portugal waren, und es war auch nicht noch nicht wirklich sehr warm war im Mai, was für uns Motorradfahrer natürlich ideal war. Wenn wir eine Frage hatten an Virginia war sie immer für uns da, aber alles ganz angenehm im Hintergrund. Portugal ist ein Traum für Motorradfahrer. Hat man sich erst einmal an die Tourenplanung gewöhnt, sodass man die schlechtesten Straßen, und die sind wirklich schlecht, einfach außen vorlässt, können Touren geplant werden, von denen wir in Mitteleuropa nur träumen können. Im Hauptanbaugebiet des Portweines dem Duron Tal bekommt man vor lauter Staunen den Mund nicht mehr zu. Wir haben die Menschen in Portugal als total nett und freundlich kennengelernt. Die allermeisten glauben zwar, dass sie auf einer Rennstrecke sind, und dennoch ist die Rücksichtnahme im Straßenverkehr gegenüber Radfahrer und Motorradfahrer vorbildlich. Die allermeisten Verkehrsteilnehmer passen aufeinander auf, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Ich könnte hier endlos fortfahren aber da dies ja eine Rezession sein soll würde ich empfehlen Fahrt hin es lohnt sich. Danke Virginia dir und deiner Familie für diese wirklich schöne Woche. Virginia spricht Englisch. Mein Englisch ist über die Jahre sehr rudimentär geworden, aber es war alles kein Problem.

Uma casa cheia de luz super completa e bastante acolhedora. Umas vistas maravilhosas em toda a casa. Tudo nas melhores condições e super limpo já para não falar da decoração de super bom gosto que transmite uma sensação bastante acolhedora. Parabéns recomendo!!!!

Wat een heerlijke plek als basis voor het ontdekken van de Douro valley en Porto! Het huis is comfortabel, zeer geschikt voor 4 personen, met een heerlijke keuken van alle gemakken voorzien. De tafel onder het afdek is fijn voor ontbijt, lunch (even uit de zon) en diner. Dit alles met een perfecte gastheer en gastvrouw maakt deze locatie een toplocatie!

Virginia ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin, deren Ziel ist, den Gästen es an nichts fehlen zu lassen. Ihr ganz neues Poolhaus samt Pool ließ bei uns keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben auch schnell Ihre braven Familienhunde ins Herz geschlossen.
